So, a lot of the idea for the Daiymo came from corrupting the following picture:
That's probably the striking figure his mother and her ancestors cut. The Daiymo, on the other hand, looks a bit more like the fellow in the righthand corner of this:
...though perhaps with a bit more necromantic tarting up--paler, dark dark rings around his eyes. I imagine this as being him at the instant of Exaltation, and what he'd look like when he lets himself go from his considerable restraint:
...I know that War Ghosts look like humans, but is there any way mine could've been twisted enough by necromancy to look more like...
Daiymo keeps a mount at all times--it's part of the image, you see, and much as he likes it when they start looking like...
...they inevitably end up more like...
...and then they die. Horribly, usually.
