Realistic or Modern I'll Fight Knowing Nobody Knows My Name! - Superhero\Villain RP

Name:

Rumia Scarlet

Villain name:

Umbra Devil

Gender:

Female

Age:

14

Alignment:

Chaotic Neutral

Personality:

latest
Rumia is a simple minded person without much goals, so she sets out whenever she feels like it without much reason. Her behavior towards others doesn't set her apart from most people, and is most often ignored by people she doesn't talk to because of this. She is not usually eager to talk, but she likes the company of people so she somehow converses with them anyway. She is slightly greedy and would take the advantage of the situation to benefit herself without much hesitation. Thinks of herself before others.

Backstory:

Rumia was a spoiled brat in her rich mansion, most often than not asking her parents to buy her something she takes immediate interest of. She never handled anything by herself and became reliant and bossy towards others. She grew up like this without the parents noticing, as both had a high-paying job with the drawback of not getting home enough to be with their only daughter, who was usually taken care of by a butler instead. Rumia did somehow manage to get above-average grades, but she didn't mind that at all, let alone be proud of herself to do it. She prioritized what she deemed fun and this led her to unlocking her powers.

One quiet evening, Rumia settled herself in the garden of the mansion. As she tried to satisfy her entertainment quota by interacting with the plants and bugs, she caught something in the corner of her eye. It was a man wearing a long dark cloak that obscured his face. Rumia, stunned of being terrified, became a victim to the person's power. A long dark spear went flying past from behind Rumia. The spear head was only able to pierce Rumia's back before she felt it stop, then all was a blur...

Rumia looked around as it was morning, and somehow no one was looking for her. She was sleeping on the garden's bench. As she walked, she felt like the evening was creeping up to her again. Somehow, darkness was following her. Thinking it was just because she slept outside that she had this hallucination, she ran back inside the mansion. It was following her all the way to her room. She thought of doing something about it but she eventually found out she could control this darkness. Rumia set off to use this newfound ability to do whatever she wanted with it.

Powers:
latest

Darkness Manipulation - Rumia can control the surrounding darkness around her, to an extent. They will solidify upon her command and not when she wants to.

Darkness Aura - Wherever Rumia goes, she would always be enveloped in a small aura off darkness that reaches about thirty to sixty feet far in all directions. People inside it feel like it is evening and/or can't see anything. Bad news is, Rumia herself can't penetrate through her own aura's darkness and would often bump into tall objects before knowing that they were there. Because of this aura, here eyes have become sensitive to light ever since she got the ability.

Flight - Rumia can fly as fast as a city-faring bird.

Name: unknown. Maybe revealed in the middle of the rp?

Super-Hero\Villain name: Blood Rain

Gender: Female

Age: unknown

Alignment: chaotic(shifts between good and evil)

Appearance:

-costume: Blood Rain is usually seen wearing dark brown hoodie with a red motorcycle helmet. The visor is modded to block the view from the outside. She wears worn blue jeans. Also knee pads and leather gloves.

-uh... appearance...?: Short, blonde hair and bright green eyes. A female that is 180 cm tall and weighs 87-(explosion) sorry, 50 kg. Scars with various length, width and shape cover her arms and legs. She is slim yet a bit muscular.

(I can add drawings if you want.... I can guarantee that everything will be great except the face.)

Personality: Blood Rain is an evil outcast, often seen attacking heroes and villains who have superpower. She shows hate against ones with superpower, and ones who support them. She attacks without hesitation, but she does hesitate when it comes to killing. Her determination to kill everyone with superpower leads her, though for some reason, killing seems difficult for her. She also tries to harm ones without powers if they get in the way. While she concentrates on hunting down people with superpower, she is not able to empathize with other people, as most of her normal life is forgotten. She feels no guilt committing crimes, as she spent most of her free time doing so to live on. For a long time she kept on fighting, so she hardly ever feels joy or love.

Backstory: Not many is known about Blood Rain, except for the fact that she started appearing about a year ago. She teleported from an unknown location, attacked a superhero, inflicting serious injury, and disappeared. She repeated to attack anyone with superpower, either hero or villain, but did not kill any of them. There were attempts to stop her, but they all failed, as she fled before anyone could catch her. According to what she said during the encounters, people believe that she experienced something bad related to superpowers, making her go mad and start killing people with it.

Powers:

-long length teleportation: Currently, people who research her activities speculate her being able to teleport over 5km far, and in a moment. Blink!

-fire control: Blood Rain is able to create small balls of fire. By far, the biggest one had the radius of 50cm. The ball of fire can be shot in a fast and furious 50m per second speed. It has been confirmed to be 300 degrees Celsius hot, though the temperature can increase, sacrificing the size.

-smoke: Blood Rain is able to create yellow smoke that lasts for a short amount of time to blind her enemies.

-eyes of superpower: Blood Rain is able to identify whether one has superpower or not, and is able to speculate the strength of it. She can also install a 'mark' that she can see when the mark is within 75m away from her. The mark disappears after 72 hours.

-healing: Blood Rain's body regenerates in a slow rate, allowing her to recover from injuries such as a handgun fire within three days. Time multiplies quickly as the size and number of injuries increase.

-voices: Blood Rain is able to 'whisper' to people she installed a mark to.

Equipment: N/A except for her knee pads, clothing, and her helmet.

Extra: People were able to recover her quotes from things such as videos recorded of the scene.

"Dirty souls...."

"You must die, so others can live."

"Powers cause only chaos."

Name: Kirstin Summers

Super-Hero\Villain name: Kirsty, her friends call her Kris

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (vigilante)

Appearance:
Blue-and-red-eyes-of-girl.jpg

Personality: Kirsty is just a quiet girl that you can expect to not talk to you very much, but to herself she's always talking in her head as a result of her superpowers. Normally shy but approachable (if you're unarmed, I see that gun behind you.)

Backstory: Kirsty was born to two parents who also had superpowers but were killed as a result of their abilities being unable to be contained in a laboratory. Kirsty had known an illegal laboratory as her home, constantly running tests until she had grown older. No experimentation took place on her, for the scientists were fearful of her raw strength. Around 13 years old, she had finally gained enough strength to crush steel bars, and could now control her density. She escaped after a scientist tried to get sexually intimate with her, never seeing the lab again. Donning a black scarf over her face, she walked out into the world, hunting any major scientist that dares set their nasty little hands on any abnormal beings.

Powers: Kirsty has a whole host of superpowers affecting herself, as well as some that can energetically extend out into the world at a draining cost.

Strength - Kirsty is incredibly strong, the upper limits of her strength unknown since she isn't fully grown yet. So far, she is able to rip chunks of metal off of structures, break through solid doors, and take gunshots to some extent. Affecting herself, she is also able to leap several hundred feet into the air, but has to control her density for a proper landing (or rolling). Her strength also lets her maintain a peak physical condition, being unable to contract infections and in turn being immune to some poisons and drugs.

Speed - As a result of her strength, Kirsty is incredibly fast, able to run along the ground at around one hundred twenty miles an hour at a jog. This is further increased because of her information processing abilities, allowing her to clock even faster if she wanted to. She is probably one of the fastest humans.

Density Manipulation - One of her few powers she doesn't understand yet, she is able to harden her hand to match that of steel before hitting someone, or loosening up her entire body to be able to stand on structures that would normally break under human weight (Running on water IS NOW CONFIRMED). However, Kirsty lacks the proper control needed for this power and it's unreliable to her for now.

Speed Processing - Kirsty's reflexes are unmatched by all athletes and even most superheroes, allowing her to dodge larger projectiles and on a lesser extent take gunshots (up to 3?).

Enhanced Vision - Kirsty is afraid of her ability to see ultraviolet radiation and infrared signals. She doesn't know how far she can go, sometimes being able to see through clothing and thin plaster walls. She can also see far more colors than the average human, some she doesn't even have a name for.

Electric Vision - Kirsty's strength and enhanced vision combine, allowing her to trade her sight for a strong electric shock out of her eyes. It only can stun people up to 10 feet away but the upper limits for this power as well are unknown. Of course, Kirsty is still afraid of this power and rarely uses it.

Teenage Mind - Kirsty is only sixteen years old, making her capable of learning new abilities. This is a downside as well, making her easily sway to whatever others say.

Developed powers - Kirsty developed a few powers over the course of her living in Sanfield.

Radio Wave Sense - Kirsty is able to see radio waves, and potentially decode messages. She is oblivious to sounds and some other senses while looking, and her perception is decelerated, requiring focus.

X-Ray Vision - Kirsty can see through solid objects. She is unable to see through lead and denser materials, nor can she see past magnetic fields. While looking through materials, she is oblivious to sounds and other senses, touch, and her perception is decelerated, making everything appear faster than usual.

Solar Regeneration - Under direct contact with the sun, Kirsty is able to heal wounds. She is unaware of this power and it occurs passively.

Density Tearing - Kirsty has only some idea how she does it, but she uncondenses herself and goes into the body of another if they are in the way and is able to tear out their spine. (THIS POWER ONLY WORKS ON NPCS SO DON'T BE WORRIED). If nobody is in the way, it just seems as if she runs into the air, disappears, and reappears several meters ahead, as if she was running and just turned invisible.

Equipment: Scarf to hide her mouth and nose, acts as a filter for toxic sprays. Wears the scarf over a black tank top and has black shorts.

Extra: Scientists around the world know her name, and will flinch or tremble at the thought of her leaping straight out of the building through the ceiling.

Name: Astraia

Super-Hero\Villain name: Clone

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown

Alignment: Hero

Appearance: Changes constantly

Personality: Protective over those she cares for. She is stubborn and independent with a strong sense of justice. She is untrusting, especially of scientists and doctors.

Backstory: Genetically engineered clone gone wrong. She was supposed to be an genetically enhanced identical copy of a genetically engineered girl, but something went wrong with Astraia's DNA and she instead had no true form, as it was constantly changing before she learned how to consciously control it. Because of that, she can take any form and mimic anything. Whenever she has contact with something once living her brain and body work together to copy its DNA and keep it so she can change into it. She lives alone after splitting up with some other genetically modified escapees betrayed her. She has recently been trying to keep her nose out of the superhero game, but has finally had enough.

Powers: Shape shifting, control pain (physical and mental), illusions, regeneration (can make copy of organs and store them in her body, along with other things, though it can be visible and still has weight.) Advanced senses (because of the genetic modification and introduction to a wide variety of species)

Equipment: Whatever she finds or happens to have on her person

Extra: Weakness is she has no control when it comes to the shadows. It takes a lot of energy, time, and to an extent, concentration, to regrow organs, regardless of whether she has them or not. Also, similar to a human eve though they're not the same, her organs keep her alive and damaging one; depending on how badly, what one, and whether or not she has an extra, can kill her. But she can move her organs throughout her body, so maybe stepping on her foot will crush her heart or maybe it'll fire a gun. She also can be self conscious due to the fact that, as she sees it, she has no true self or form, which can be used fairly easily against her, depending on how it was phrased, thanks to the years of taunting, experiments, and tests in the lab.

Name: Hibiki Kazaki

Super-Hero\Villain name: Kuuga

Gender: Male

Age: 22

Alignment: Neutral

Appearance:

latest

Personality: Hibiki is someone who is curious about life, and the mysterious wonders of the universe. Everyday seems to be something different, and it intrigues him that days exists. Since his childhood, he has been a rather average person in regards to his personality. He isn't the most quiet person, but he isn't the most talkative person either. He is viewed as a nice, but rather interesting fellow due to his regards about life and the universe. One can see this person as strange or even unique. If someone is in trouble, then by means of morality he will help in the best way he can. Of course this doesn't exactly mean he abdicates evil, rather he views it as another choice made in life. Whether or not he will fight as Kuuga really is dependent on the situation, and based on his actions he could be in for quite an interesting ride.

Backstory:

Hibiki was born into a relatively average family living in Japan, and had a fairly decent childhood growing up in Shibuya. Then his father had the chance to work overseas, and so the entire family moved to Sanfield, America. This had occurred when he was around eight years old, so the change was a bit awkward at first, but then he learned English and adapted to the bewildering culture. From there he lived a life similar to any typical kid in the United States and graduated high school without too much stress. Then he reached a point where he wondered what he would even do from that point on, and his parents would support him regardless of his life choices; unless if he became a garbage man then that's when they draw the line. In any case, it would be the summer of his High School graduation when he mused upon the rest of his life. As fate seemed to have dictated, he was approached by a rather unique looking being.

It introduced itself as 'Daguva' and would unlock the hidden power in him known as 'Kuuga.' While Hibiki stood there confused, Daguva would only say this to him. "You are a special child. As the reincarnation of Kuuga, you must decide upon yourself whether or not your power will be of creation or destruction. Or perhaps... you shall be the linking chain that connects both creation and destruction. I shall be watching your progress, and I am most intrigued in how you use your powers..." The being known as Daguva left, and soon Hibiki would stand still wondering of the beings words. Then a sort of demonic imp-like being appeared and would attack Hibiki. As if by instinct, Hibiki would call upon the power of Kuuga, and transform into a being wearing some sort of armor. He wasn't sure what this form was, but then he had a memory lapse of sorts and would fight the being head on. The end result being Hibiki was victorious. From that point on, he would focus on trying to see how the power of Kuuga worked, and what it's secrets were. It's been quite a bit of time since, and he has mastered Kuuga's basic power with the exception of the untapped raw power that is deep within him. For now, he would live his life in Sanfield as an odd jobs man. If a villain or what not attacks, then he may as well stop them for it'll ruin others way of life. The choice of creation and destruction still lingers, but Hibiki isn't really interested in making those kinds of choices. Currently he is living by himself in a rather nice apartment in Sanfield.

Powers:

(UPDATED Power) Electricity Manipulation

Rising Mighty : Hibiki transforms into Kuuga. To be more specific, he transforms into his Rising Mighty form which is a balanced fighter of sorts. Strength is increased to superhuman proportions as well as speed and the five senses. This form contains the finisher known as 'Rising Mighty Kick' which causes a target to explode with the blast radius of a few city blocks.

kamen-rider-kuuga-9.jpg

Rising Dragon: Hibiki can switch forms to use his Rising Dragon form which sacrifices physical strength for much higher speed and agility. To compensate of the lack of overall defense, he uses the Dragon Rod staff which is summoned by using any pole or stick-like object to transfigure into it. The finisher for this form is 'Splash Dragon' which is an aerial thrust attack to the torso. This can be in the form of a simple thrust or tossing the Dragon Rod at the foe.

latest

Rising Pegasus: This form is about similar to Rising Dragon in terms of physical strength, but his speed is slower than Rising Dragons. Kuuga's senses are heightened to extreme, superhuman levels, enabling him to see, hit and hear his opponents with deadly precision. It also allows Kuuga to detect the enemy's position, despite whatever ability they may have to avoid detection. Due to overstimulation in the nervous system, he can only maintain the form for a total of two minutes. His finishing move with the bow gun is 'Blast Pegasus', an arrow shot from the bowgun after pulling the hammer back to the fullest length. The attack may use up to three arrows.

latest

Rising Titan: Rising Titan is a purple herculean form where his defense and punching power is greatly increased, allowing him to withstand most of his opponents' attacks long enough to get in close range, in due to this form sacrificing speed for strength. This form has much larger armor that is mainly silver with large purple trims. Although this armor provides superior protection, it still leaves parts of his body exposed, thus making him still suspectible to damage. He uses the Rising Titan Sword that can be created out of pole or stick-like objects, normally the control handle of his bike. His finishing move is 'Rising Calamity Titan', a powerful sword thrust wherein Kuuga twists the blade as it is impaled. But Kuuga can create a second Rising Titan Sword to use in the stronger 'Double Rising Calamity Titan' attack.

032.jpg

Amazing Mighty: An enhanced form of Kuuga's Rising Mighty form. This is a more controlled enhancement but is weaker than Ultimate Form. The finisher is the 'Amazing Mighty Kick' which uses both legs for a dropkick attack.

042.jpg

Ultimate Form: This is his second most dangerous form, and is a bit hard to control in terms of raw power. This form combines the power of all his other forms, and can utilize all of his weapons in this form. He is also granted Pyrokinesis for some unknown reason, and can execute two powerful attacks. The Ultimate Punch, a punch coated in hot flames, and the Ultimate Kick would could easily destroy the entire world if left unchecked. He is also able to see any non-human's human form. His attacks are also able to make the opponent bleed despite the armor. While this form is certainly powerful, Hibiki has not mastered this form, and has trouble retaining a sense of control in this form. If he were to lose control, then he becomes a mindless monster bent on killing everything. Another important tidbit is that if he uses up his energy, then he enters a state of fatigue and cannot really do much for a bit of time.

latest

Rising Ultimate: This form is still rather unknown to Hibiki, and he isn't aware that he possesses this form for whatever reason. Perhaps someone of magical powers could see into Hibiki and bear witness to this form. Regardless, if he were to ever gain access to this form then he would become much more powerful than his Ultimate Form. This form is basically an evolution of his Ultimate Form, and all of his powers are enhanced. His finishing moves are upgrades of his Ultimate Form's moves: Rising Ultimate Kick and Rising Ultimate Punch. Without the mastery of Ultimate Form, then Hibiki would instantly become a mindless monster bent on killing everything. Also because of the power this form possesses, if Hibiki isn't careful then he could end up killing himself or even worse everything else around him. What Daguva told him is the key to unlocking this form.

kamen-rider-kuuga-15.jpg

Update on Rising Ultimate: The form is on the same level as Azamel. Forms use is extremely limited to when things need to be "balanced."

Equipment:

- Rising Dragon Staff

- Rising Blast Pegasus

- Rising Titan Sword

- "Hero Persona" Armor

mmd_rvb___agent_maine_meta_by_renzo_senpai-d78e86d.png

Extra: He will fight as Kuuga for balance

Lives in a rather nice apartment in Sanfield.

- Kuuga's abilities can still improve, and many abilities lie in wait for him. For all he knows he may be able to manipulate elements. Of course he doesn't really know for sure. As such he has an extremely high developmental potential.

- It is said that Kuuga and Azamel once fought, but it was as full power Ultimate Kuuga. When Kuuga received Rising Ultimate he tried to force balance to the universe, but perished because it violated who he was.

Name: Brad Shaw

Super-Hero: Radiant

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Alignment: Good.

Appearance:

-Physical: Brad has a very large frame, having a height of 6’ 7”, broad shoulders, and an overall muscular build. He has light skin, shaggy blond, a blond beard, and green eyes.

-Outfit: Radiant’s outfit consist of a white and gold sleeveless breastplate that resembles a gladiator’s, white cuffs on his wrist, black tight pants, and gold and white armored boots. He also has a long blue scarf.

Personality: Radiant is a rather snarky individual and tends to make sarcastic and witty remarks about virtually anything whenever he gets the chance. While he is not a verbally cruel person, he really doesn’t bother to mince his words. In normal situations, he doesn’t really tolerate outright silliness despite his wit, and expects serious moments to be taken as such.

That aside, Radiant is a generally nice man. He often puts others before himself, and is often seeking to make himself a better person. He is often pretty calm and tends to keep his emotions under control. In battle, however, his blood can get really boiled, and as a result, he fights very aggressively, and he can get pretty reckless and a bit hammy in the heat of a fight.

Backstory: Radiant was originally part of a tribe of light wielding warriors from the past, and out of them he was the strongest. One day, a demon was on the loose and ended up traveling into the present day. Radiant was assigned to hunt it down and destroy it, and was given a special stone so he could follow after it in the future. After several weeks in the present, the demon reveals itself and starts attacking the city. Radiant immediately went into action to destroy the monster, but he could not defeat it. Then he realized that the stone’s energy would be enough to weaken the fiend in order to defeat it, but that would mean he would not be able to return to his own time. After some serious thought, Radiant choice to use the time stone’s energy in order to weaken the monster, aware that he would never return home. With the monster’s most powerful abilities stripped away, Radiant slayed the beast with his sword, saving the city.

Powers: Radiant’s abilities (especially Light Pact) are influenced by the amount of light available. The brighter the area is, the stronger his abilities are. In complete darkness, they are severely weakened (or in Light Pact’s case, completely useless).

-Super Strength: Radiant is immensely strong, and is able to carry objects many times heavier than him with ease.

-Light Pact: Radiant’s light pact ability allows him to concentrate available light into hard formulated structures, which he can use for a variety of situations. This includes summoning light pillars under foes, forming walls of light, and creating a shield around his arm. He may only create two structures at a time though.

-Flight: No explaining needed

Enhanced Durability: Radiant can take a great deal more damage than a normal human.

Equipment:

-Sword: Radiant wields a large clear bladed sword that only he is able to use. The sword is also able to create waves of light to attack foes from afar. It is also inhabited by a strange winged creature that speaks to Radiant through the blade.

Names, Basic, etc.
Name: Vanessa Altamura

Super-Hero\Villain name: Dame deChance (Translates to "Lady of luck")

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (Was once Lawful Good)
Appearance

Celestia-Ludenberg-dangan-ronpa-35268566-1000-1000.jpg

Personality
Vanessa is a fatalist. She believes that almost everything is determined by fate, with the actions of heroes and villains being the exception. As a result, she's very apathetic towards the suffering of others. As Dame DeChance, she vigilantly carries out the will of "fate" unto others, leaving their fate to her deck of cards.

Besides being fatalistic, Vanessa is very polite when spoken to. She seldom bothers to argue with people, and prefers to laugh at their inevitable failure. Be warned, though, that Vanessa is quite manipulative, using her soft-spoken words to justify her actions and antagonize others. It's difficult to anger her, but when she snaps, she completely does away with her polite demeanor.
Backstory:
Ever since she was a small child, Vanessa was able to catch brief glimpses of the near future. She isn't quite certain as to when exactly she gained this ability, but she believes it started when she was five.

At first, she dismissed these sudden visions as vivid imagination, despite the fact that they almost always came true. One day, when she was in middle school, that illusion was shattered when she had a "vivid imagining" of her French teacher having a heart attack, before he suddenly had one no more than ten minutes later. Even though he survived, Vanessa believed that it was her fault he had one in the first place, as she had said nothing to warn him.

From then on, Vanessa's "vivid imaginings" gradually became more potent. Soon, her glimpses into the future, while still short, became far more detailed, and she tried to warn people of the calamities she witnessed. No matter what she or the future victim did, however, the "vivid imaginings" would still come to fruition, with few exceptions. After years of trying and often failing to prevent tragedies, Vanessa gave up, and started using her precognition to become an expert gambler.

One night, Vanessa was going home when she saw a man slumped up against the wall in a nearby alleyway. As she approached, she found that the man had an open wound, and would die soon without help. Her precognition told her he would live, but after so many failures, Vanessa was desperate to defy fate at least once. She didn't have a coin to flip, but she did have a deck of cards. She decided that if she drew a red card, she would get the man help, but if the card she drew was black, she would mercy-kill him with the pocket knife in his jacket. To this day, she won't say which card she drew.
Powers:

Precognition: Vanessa's only power. While she's capable of voluntarily using it (though she has to use all of her concentration to do so), her visions are more detailed when they happen spontaneously, which is not very often.

Equipment
:

Deck of Fate- An otherwise ordinary deck of cards that Vanessa carries with her at all times. She primarily uses them for decision-making. Each card happens to be razor-sharp, and she can throw them at people when she is being Dame deChance.

Certainty (gun) When her cards aren't enough, Vanessa keeps a pistol hidden between the layers of her dress. She's reluctant to use it for anything but self-defense.
Extra:

Vanessa is a slight pyromaniac. Despite gambling often, she isn't an addict.
