"Oh, haha." What was one to say to someone that basically admitted they were a cannibal? Robert chose not to comment on it.


When she asked for his name, Robert did a weak, half-hearted bow from where he was sitting. "I'm Robert, Robert Gutierrez. And if you want to talk to the people... well they're everywhere. Kinda. For instance, sometimes when you go on websites where they have like, news videos, there's a comment section where you can comment and that's how I saw some theories about you there. Of course, there are more organised websites, like the one I have on this superheroine, D-duchess Rose..." He almost seemed reluctant to say that last line. He continued on quickly.


"And then there's another site where they have discussions on superheros and villains and shit like that, called, FistsandKicks dot net run by an old friend of mine. I think there's a few threads on there about you. You'd have to sign up to be on the website first though. If you asked for a vid chat, I'm sure they'd oblige, but I suggest doing that only after you have a few convos, some of them are freaky weirdos... Er... Yeah."


Though he was sure she knew that. Most people were aware of internet weirdos now a days.

Giving a whistle, Valentina watched as Django went to work and described what parts of the security system did. "Haha, my new systems gonna be even better than the 20k one my mom had... back home." She got quiet and her doe eyes glistened with emotion before suddenly going cold.

The ambulance staffed dragged her into the ambulance with much effort. Anella couldn't make much out of the chatter...


"Height?"


"She's about 4'4."


"Weight?"


"A hundred forty three pounds."


"For a girl that small?"


"Well, she doesn't show signs of being overweight in the bad sense."


"What do you mean you can't inject the anesthetic?"


"I don't know, the needle just broke."


"Try the other ones!"


"Not working."


"Well. Blood pressure?"


"Two readings. One is 0/0, the other is 150/99!"


"Is she showing symptoms of hypertension?"


"She's...healthy."





Anella opened her eyes and were surprised by the hospital bed. A loud ringing in her ears began as a nurse came in with a glass of water. "We got a diamond tipped neee...." Anella looked at her impatiently, but she seemed to have...tripped? Like Anella could do anything about it, other than grab the tray and needle out of the air before it fell. It all seemed to go by really fast after. The nurse fell and looked up at Anella holding the tray and the needle. "Excuse me doctor, how did you not see that you were going to fall?"


The nurse looked up at her with some irritation. "Doesn't matter." She grabbed the needle from Anella's little hands and stabbed it in. Anella screamed. "THAT HURTS!" Anella pulled the needle out and threw it against the wall, causing the needle to stick to the wall like a knife. "We need to call someone."





The nurse began ringing up Owen.

"Nice to meet you Robert." Kirsty frowned and stepped back. "I don't have a computer...can we use yours? I'm sure if you're active on the site or something they'd let you introduce me. Besides we'll be on camera together so they can...you know...see for themselves. Also I'd be more than willing to explain what's happening." Kirsty smiled and looked around. "Tell me your address, I'll get you there in a second."

I teleport away at the mention of a doc. go to the corpse in the park, I rip off a piece of the still warm arm. Eating it like cake.

"That's perfectly fine," Robert said, getting to his feet and brushing some dirt off of his shirt. He shook his hand, watching glass shards fall from his hand, happy that only shallow cuts were made. 'Note to self, get a new phone later.'


After a moment of thinking about which address he should use, that of the abandoned warehouse, or his grandmother's house, he decided to tell Kirsty the address to the latter.

Within thirty seconds, Kirsty zipped to Robert's grandma's house, holding him. "Here...we are!" Kirsty smiled at him. If he was surprised by that, then Kirsty figured that she'd be able to contact the online freaks much easier.

"Shit son, that was, whoa..." Robert definitely wasn't used to getting around fast like that. He was glad they moved quickly though. The little girl from earlier had returned to the park, and though he didn't want to acknowledge it, he had seen her feasting on the corpse. Then, he remembered what Kirsty had said, and felt bad. Maybe the girl just didn't have any food.


"Oookay. Right this way." Robert went up the stairs and took out some keys. He opened up the door and held it open for Kirsty.

"All right then later!" He said to Valentine as he headed outside for a nice stroll, but he decided to warp himself back to the Carrier. From there he would relax on the Carrier's couch in the living quarters.

The girl had shut her door and retreated inside. Right as she was preparing a bath, she swore she could hear some screaming, and she went to the window of her apartment, looking out. Very faintly yes, she could hear someone yelling. Well, her supersuit had just came in the mail, and though she just wanted to do more investigating on the Robert guy, she thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she checked out the noise instead. Though she debated on whether she should actually go or no.

What was it with the cannibals in this city? Just a while ago, there was a report about a boy and girl loose, going about eating people. Photos and everything of them had been released.


She wasn't sure how to approach this problem, but she did what she would usually do; talk. "HEY! You down there! This is fucking sick! Stop doing it!"

So, she took out her whip, made of a strong material, and lashed it at the ground near the girl, creating a small burst of wind. She didn't want to actually whip the girl, because then SHE would be the fucked up one.


"I said hey! Stop eating that guy's neck! Don't you want to eat real, actual food. If it's blood you have a taste for though, I can get you some. LEGALLY."

Terra sat behind a car, staring at her hand. She tried to make it glow. After a lot of effort, and several tries... she gave up.


Then she heard a commotion, coming from the park.


Terra ran towards it. Some kid was eating someone!


Now the kid was distracted, looking at someone else.


She should stay out of it... but would it be right?


The injured man moved. That decided it for her. Terra ran over and tried to pull the man away.

The hairs on the back of Valentina's neck rose. If the girl tried to stab her neck, well, her helmet would probably only get a crack in it. Her suit itself was open game however. Valentina wasn't stupid though, so she whirled around fairly quickly.
