Valentina S.
"Oh..." Valentina looked down, feeling a bit the fool for what she said. But she wasn't one to dwell on her mistakes for so long.
Without hesitation, Valentina took Siren's offered hand and she got up. "Where's your nest? If you wanna tell me, that its."
"Okay ladies. Follow me to the bath area. First stop on the package." The woman began to lead them to a locker room of sorts, though decorated in a lush and inviting manner. Valentina's eyes lit up as she looked around.

Maria C.
At some point, Maria had looked back, and could see the man coming after her. She knew she couldn't possibly run forever, and risk getting caught by this man. She had to act, fast.
The most important thing was finding someone to help her. In the time she had spent with her brother, frequently running into trouble, Maria had learned to use her status as a little, seemingly helpless girl to her advantage. And so, she knew exactly what she was going to do.
She turned the corner to see that only a few people were out. Maria determined they would be of no help. Using one of the abilities of her artificial eye, body heat sensing, she could tell that in the bodega on the corner, there were about three people. Two figures of average height, and a shorter figure off to the side, close to the entrance. Another advantage; the store had posters in Spanish on it. With all her might, Maria called out.
"¡Ayuda! Alguien por favor, ayuda!"
On the corner was a street light, she smashed herself right into it, with the intent of injuring her face. And injured it was. Pain shot through the lower half of her face, and she could feel blood gushing down. She fell on the ground, letting the instinct to cry take over.
"¡NECESITO AYUDA!"
People came rushing out—the first, an old lady, the second, a dark skinned, middle aged man and a teenage boy. The few people that were out came over as well.
"Dios mío..." the elderly woman said breathlessly, before crouching next to the girl.
