They sat on the bed but stayed silent, both expressing something different.


Peace showed anger, as if she was planning on crushing this Genji character. She covered her head with her hood so the anger couldn't be seen.


Threat showed concern, he frowned and studied where she was hit. He crossed his legs and gestured her to say the story.

"Y-Yeah...I'll be fine. It's not healing powers, really, it's just that my cells are r-receptive to the sun." I lay back, breathing heavily. "The dragonblade blocked it." I look up at the ceiling. I knew that most energy based attacks wouldn't cooperate with the solar healing. The light disc, Doctor Starling's eye lightning, actual lightning, and then this. I flinched a little bit. "I guess...I don't know. I want to talk about something weird that happened when I was fighting Genji."

Brendan teleported down to the GLASS headquarters from the carrier. "I got you with the ASS MOLE suit."

"It's perfect. Now then I suppose if you don't mind asking if I could join GLASS as a member, but I would like to ask that I would only be a member under name. Due to certain... circumstances I can't exactly always be at the beck and call. You don't have to worry about living arrangements as well." He would then look to the suit, and would take off his helmet.

I turned a little bit and sat up, cross legged on the bed. "When I went to attack him, before the dragonblade, did you notice anything weird about my movement? It didn't feel like a jump at all. It felt like I was shoving myself through the air." I raised my eyebrows, a little bit worried about what I did. "Starling said I'd spend until I was about eighteen...two years from now... discovering superpowers. Most of the discoveries were scary. I was hysterical when I discovered I had x-ray vision. Even when I found out about my thermal vision. It's all so...weird." I buried my head in my hands. I felt like crying, I didn't even know myself anymore.

"Uhm...we're not expecting you to be here at our beck and call. I don't even know what that means but uh..." Brendan looked down at the GLASS member list. Three superhumans already, and he was destroying the GLASS namesake. "I can't hire you because work limitations aboard the carrier. The suit is the best I can do for you." Brendan then turned to the payroll. "However, we can partner on missions if you want."

"I see. That'll be fine," he would then proceed to wear the new suit GLASS made for him. Everything seemed set, and his gloves and rings were all set as well. "Thank you very much. I'll be on my way then," with that he would already be on the move from rooftop to rooftop.

Hibiki would then check the suit for any tracking devices in a secure location. Once he determined there were none he would run a scan on it. "None... of course they wouldn't do that naturally, but just to make sure." He would continue this "Hero Persona" until he took off the suit. From there he would teleport to the training dimension and would take off this suit. The voice modifier and face-camo would be off, and he would teleport back into the streets as Hibiki. From there he would walk the roads of the city once more.

Peace and Threat looked at each other before nodding and both going up and hugging her "Powers are......scary, you should have seen how we acted when we first split." They said in unison before looking at each other.


Threat sighed "This was after the experiment. We were walking through the rain and we split, when we did we cried, yelled, attacked....killed," he said remembering the night. How cold and how new he had felt, he clung to Kirtsy, shaking a little.





Peace though about it "We acted like new borns with powers. Hurting and causing damage to a small town. When we saw each other made us feel safe. We learned to became whole but we forgot what our life was like before that. We just gave each other the names and tried to live the best we could," she said holding on tighter.

genji would then think, how was he so clumsy he missed her hand and went for the torso? how was he so ignorant to the fact that she was still human? she could be dying right now and he doesn't even know... he doesnt even know what the dragonblade he had for years can do, is he really worthy of the dragonblade? to hold that much power in the tip of a sword yet almost kill a 16 year old girl? questions run through his head like a non-stop race car

Valentina's face fell. That's right! She bit her lip in thought. "Uh... no, I'm sorry."


"Mm..." The woman squinted a little. "Your voice seems familiar." A sly look appeared on Valentina's face. She moved forward and whispered something in the woman's ear. Her face lit up and she seemed as if she was going to launch into a flurry of excited questions. Valentina held up her finger and shook her head gently though, before putting her finger to her lips.


"Ahem! It's a slow business day,I'm sure they're some rooms open—please follow me." The woman haid gained her composure mostly, but she lead them away with a bounce in her steps. A big stupid grin was plastered across Valentina's face.


"Well, it's been a while since I've been to a spa, but I suppose she's leading us to the waiting room. We can try some meditating there if you want."

"That's rough, guys." I held onto them. "I was born with my powers. My parents were killed because of them. A doctor ran experiments on me, to test my limits." A tear ran down my face as I was shaking. "The space chamber was the worst..." I buried my head in Threat's shoulder.

They sighed in unison "Hey it's okay, it's oka-we should really stop talking like this," the said giving a light laugh.


Threat patted her back "Let it out, you'll feel better. You have us now and we can help you, beside replication we are somewhat the same," he said with a smile.


Peace whipped away the tear "Hey, calm down, you don't have to deal with that anymore. Powers come at a price, don't let the price be worse than the outcome," she said putting her head on Kirsty shoulder.

"Thanks." I hugged and kissed her. "Well we just got a room to ourselves on a flying spaceship. Let's do something fun!" I stood up, tying a bedsheet over my bra straps. "I am a superhero now!"

Siren smiled and followed along, only wondering for a moment at what the whispered conversation was. When she had shifted into human form she had weakened her ears so as not to have to parse sounds as much. She followed the happy woman alongside Valentina and said, "Serenity is an interesting concept. Possible for some, less so for others. Enjoyable for some, unpleasant for others, and those groups do not always intersect. Ah my mind wanders. Meditating would be absolutely fine. I am here to be human for a while, and you know much more of that than I do."

Peace smiled and used her powers as her back was lifted off the ground. Knives flew from it and covered her body as what stood before her was a 'Knive knight,' she smirked and looked down at her. "What do you think," Peace asked under the armor.


Threat spun around the other bed as 4 man with blanket shrouds appeared. They took off their hoods revealing them all to be Threat "And I'm a super villain," they all said in unison.

"Wow, that's cool! Look what I can do." I took off the cape. "Well, that's ok. Because..." My eyes glowed and electricity began surrounding me, making a slightly larger Kirsty outline of electricity. "You will now refer to me as Thunder...Boobs." I stared menacingly, but the lightning dissipated from my eyes and body, and I fell onto Peace's 'knife knight', laughing ridiculously. I wasn't harmed by the knives at all but I weighed about five hundred pounds at this point. "This explains my life perfectly! I can't be a hero so I just go around blowing stuff up!" I kissed Peace on the face and rolled around on the ground with her. "The floor is even soft..." I flipped around and lay Peace on top of me. "Hello sexy."

Dr. Starling flew around Sanfield, still in his fairy outfit. It had been upgraded to include a magic wand, which had a taser attached to the end of it. He pranced through the streets.

"It's a new start, little sis."


Maria felt the weight of her brother's hand on her head. She didn't respond, having heard him say this every time they came to a new city. She didn't understand why he said that, because they always moved on, never staying in one place for too long. Maria didn't mind though. She rather liked travelling with her brother.


A loud, grumbling noise could be heard. "Eh? Are you hungry? We'll find you someone! Come on," Hiro said cheerfully. He and his sister, in bloodstained attire roamed the streets, looking for a dark alley to scrounge dinner from. They found a homeless woman there, and Maria stepped in front of her brother, hand out. A stream of hot blood gushed onto the woman, who screamed until her jaw melted off and she could no longer. Hungry, Maria pounced on the woman and began eating her.

"Notte e giorno d'intorno girando!" Starling landed in front of a woman and a man, staring at what the fuck just went down. "Uh...did you just eat the woman?" Starling looked intently. "Cause that's a little fucked up."

Peace smiled and let the mask seem to vanish so she could see "Blowing stuff up sounds like fun!" She said kissing her and letting her mask return. She picked her up with ease "Ha! Even if you weighed this entire place I would still be able to pick you up," she said lifting her with one hand.


Threat let the copies vanish as he saw whatever they were doing, he covered his eyes. "Please! We all own a room now, I am here now when you become affectionate," he said turning a bit red. He sat on the bed and put his hood over his eyes.

I hooked my feet on the ceiling fixture and lifted Peace up by the arm in an upside down trapeze position. "If I weighed that much, sweetie, I'd be a black hole." I laughed as I did a backflip off the fixture, switching positions with Peace and holding her in turn. "Well, remember the alcohol tub? I'm sure Threat wouldn't mind watching us play around in one of those again." I winked at Peace.

"Aha, well about tha—" Valentina stopped talking abruptly. She always felt weird being called a human, but she couldn't object to what Siren said. After all, her life had been spent rather normally, with her mother trying to supress her supernatural side. Still, she felt weird not acknowledging that part of her.


She was about to say something else, but the woman pulled aside a bunch of colourful beads to reveal a room with several black pillows on the ground. The walls were bare, with no distracting decorum, but there did seem to be some magazines tucked out of the way. Valentina sat down on one of the pillows and assumed a typical meditation position.

Peace smiled "Why don't you get it prepared. I would enjoy another bath with you," she said with a devious smile. Peace then looked at Threat and waved "He'll enjoy it," she said laughing.


Threat went over to the bed and wrapped himself up in a blanket, becoming a burrito. He put the hood of it on and sat by the edge of the bed "Do not disturbed the burrito," he said in a muffled voice.

I turned on the water, and looked in the mirror. "I'd ditch the bra if this wasn't an apartment on a spaceship about a hundred miles above the earth." I then looked at the water again. "Alcohol or nah. Yeah." I ran outside, unaware of what I was wearing. I got weird looks from officers and I waved back awkwardly. I then ran down to the 'super secret stash' and pulled out two barrels of experimental alcohol. I walked back carrying one in each hand, once again getting weird looks from officers. I put them in the room and shut the door, putting them outside the bathroom. "It's full of something Brendan calls proto-vodka." I laughed and then turned to Threat the burrito. "The burrito will not be disturbed." I pat Threat on the head and lifted Peace bridal style and ran her into the bathroom, shutting the door. "You're still sexy." I kissed her on the nose.

Siren noted her words and her reaction, and smiled saying, "Oh I do know you are not human. You do not have the smell of a pure human. You have far more experience with Being human however, or at least seem to. I was human once, for a pleasant twenty years or so. Then," she smirked bitterly," then I became this. I have lived many thousands of years, and periodically will hibernate for a century or two. I have only been awake for a decade or so this time around and I have not spent this much time in human form in about three hundred years." She barked out a laugh and then said, "And it has been three Thousand years since I last told someone this much of me! I do appreciate people who are immune to my Voice. It is not something I can change, and I am always aware when in discussion with people that my Voice is influencing them. I must thank you for this opportunity, it has already improved my mood."

Hiro whirled around and Maria got to her feet, a weary look on her face. A smile stretched across Hiro's face.
