I ignored Genji's snark. He was obviously going to be stepped down from mayor soon. "My blood had a different effect on her." I looked around her body and found various new glands lining her throat, behind the thymus on her heart. I found something the 'mayor of Sanfield' wouldn't have ever found without my help, or at least GLASS's. "Also, apparently, electrical glands." I ran a hand over her chest and then one over mine. "After we stabilize your mutations, we need to understand electrical glands. So far, the only way to null the mutations is to let it happen, but adapt you to human life. Like a snake, you change based on your environment. This means no viper behavior for twenty four hours. You can use your other stuff but don't spit poison or bite people. Mutations should slow down." I smiled. "And you have to keep talking, so you can remember how to if you go full viperzilla." I then threw Hibiki a communications panel without looking. "Brendan's busy but you can schedule with him

Starling rubbed his back. "That's rough buddy. Want to find her and make amends? I can find her real quick if you want." Starling began looking around for her, his tongue subtly licking the smoothie drips off of his lips and mouth.

"I believe..." Brendan continued slowly. "These are a part of a larger corporation called Energenetics Laboratories. Kirstin was experimented here as well, for stretching the superhuman limit. You said a man with red eyes? She also mentioned a similar man." Brendan read through the file really fast. "You both have connected experimentation. You were to test the powers. Kirstin was born with powers, but the man used her to test the superhuman limit. You were a precursor to something very large. Something horrifying. And I think it's happening right now as we speak." Brendan grew worried. "As far as the man goes, was his name, by chance, Doctor Randall Starling?"

"Thanks Kirsty, but Harmony was going to question me so," he would then look to Harmony.

Jon sighed. "I don't know what I want. She probably hates me....even though she claimed to love me." He mumbled the last part before continuing. "I think it's best to leave her alone...." He chuckled a bit. "I also sort of killed her friend..."

"Oh, that's also rough. Who was this friend? Was he special?" Starling shrugged. "If she claims it, she does love you in a way. If someone lies about that then they're not a person worth your time." Starling smiled. "Before I got involved in all of this, I used to do couples therapy. Maybe I can help with that?"

"Well the friend was Grey. You mentioned a few moments ago..." Jon shrugged. "Couples therapy? You?" He looked up and down. "Do you even have a partner?"

Dr. Starling looked down at his feet. "Oh. Grey." Starling looked down even further somehow. "I used to have a partner. I gave her all the time in the world, until work took me up and turned me into this. She stayed with me, and she was even impressed with what I could do. However, when I told her how I got them, she left me. She was terrified to be a part of it all." Starling shrugged. "I still respected her decision. But it's the cycle of breakups that made me pretty strong in giving relationship advice. First meeting is free." Starling handed Jon his business card. It had a smiling picture of Doctor Starling. In fine print was written 'I can wear a mask if you want me to.' It also had a phone number and the back had two smiling dragons hugging each other. "Eh?"

Lightning looked shaken, "I do not know. I was eight when I escaped and I was never treated as an intelligent being. They referred to be as Test Subject when they did refer to me at all." She smiled bitterly, "Whoever he was he was a capable scientist. He succeeded in strengthening my genes just not the ones he meant to." Then she suddenly seemed to remember something, "Wait I. Before I was here I was fighting, and my power went off without my control." A look of horror crossed her face and she whispered, "How many people died?"

Brendan looked down. "Two GLASS officers. They signed up for this but they didn't have to die at the hands of a superhero." Brendan then returned to the clipboard. "I'm going to let you in on a little secret, but we've faced far worse than you. Worrying about the death count isn't your priority right now. And..." Brendan looked up at her. "That loss of control has been observed in many different superhumans. They've decided to call it a berserk mode. Most of it is linked to Energenetics Lab testing, but actually a few people are born with that kind of loss of control. It's like when a person becomes really strong in moments of need. Just take away the quick thinking, replace it with rage, and take the thinking energy and put it into the muscles and superpowers and you got a berserk mode. It's actually more complicated, and is something we may investigate later in GLASS..."

Hibiki would just sit there wondering when will they question him. Of course he would just excuse himself then since no one seems to really care at this point. In any case, this would most likely clear him of suspicion anyhow and goes out for a stroll. So now his situation has been returned back to normal, and now he won't be under suspicion anymore.

I will fight the fights that need to be fought, but I am not a hero if I do not remember the fallen. Is there anything more you can tell me about this Doctor Starling? If not am I allowed to leave?"

"You can go. I don't want you seeking out Starling. That's what my subcommanders and officers are for." Brendan smiled a little. "Actually, just my officers. My subcommanders are sixteen year old girls who are really, REALLY fast...and bulletproof. And one of them can tear through titanium. I take that back, yes, it's a job for my subcommanders and officers. Would you like a helicopter escort to your residency? We can also offer personal protection until Starling is apprehended." Brendan waved and the door opened. Brendan lead her to the helipad. A large helicopter with a beige interior was on the pad. "Might as well take the free ride, right?"

"What?!" Big Bob began poking at the tail with a probe. "This is amazing and not good! The first is that you'll balance better with a tail. However, another extremity can get shot." Big Bob began calculating some random stuff. "Tails are heavy and cost a lot of energy, too. You need to change your diet based on your new viper nature. For starters, you must eat more. You can store reserves of energy because of your reptilian nature but you must stack up on meat and stuff. Second of all, you can get more out of freshly killed prey. Have you been craving mice recently?" Big Bob put on his glasses and pointed to a small lab mouse in a cage.

Hibiki continues to walk around as he wonders what to do next. In any case, he must venture on through the city. There is always plenty to do, and he wonders what else is there to explore. Thankfully suspicion seems to have been cleared from him since no one is batting an eye. In any case, he hopes to stay clear from trouble and only involve himself in situations he deems necessary.

Lightning shivers, "I just pray that I never meet him. My one request is that if you catch up to him, let me watch him die. I need to see him dead!" She accidentally shouts the last, and she put her hand on her mouth looking embarrassed. She smiled awkwardly, "I would appreciate a ride back to the city. I have not been able to find a place to live however so anywhere in the city would be nice. Maybe I can go looking, but I have had a long bad day, so I will probably just camp out on a rooftop."

Jon laughed. "Well then I might have to hit you up on this offer." He smiled and nodded. "Yeah whenever you're free....and whenever I could get Neo to listen to me..." He gave a sigh. "I doubt that'll be possible...."

"I'll go with you, I'm sure everybody can trust a therapist." Starling quickly spun around, passing through the rooftop. About twenty seconds later he jumped back through the rooftop wearing a nice therapist outfit and glasses. The cracks on his face were concealed as well, but his eyes still glowed. "Let's go then. I'm free right now."

"Alright, ride it is." Brendan got in the helicopter and began flying them to Sanfield. "If you want you can stay at a GLASS bunker. Also because of the Hospitality Faire, there are free smoothies. At least the first three are. They also have warm blankets and shelters if you don't have a place to live."

Jon sighed. "Let me call her first..." He grabbed the phone from his pocket and dialed Neo's number, awaiting an answer.

Grey walked to the window. "I don't think I have any new powers..." He looked at his arms. "It's a really nice day, we should go look for my umbrella..." He turned around and extended his hand.

Neo heard her phone ring as soon as walked over to Grey. She sighed and would answer it when she came back. As of right now, she had to help Grey get back to normal, so she took his hand and teleported with him.
