He nodded and smiled, pulling her in close, kissing her head. “Mmm…. Just a little tired. I’m gonna take a nap if you wanna join me.” He told her, gently tugging on her hips. “I’m hoping Jamie stays sober for the gig.” He sighed a little.

Carmen smiled and followed him, taking his hand as they got to the elevator. “So Gareth was saying yesterday you guys are hitting the studio next.” She said watching him.

Max smiled softly and wrapped her arms around his neck "Mmm a nap sounds nice." She murmured before kissing him gently. She gave a heavy sigh as she climbed into bed with him and nodded some "Yeah I hope so as well."

Jamie nodded some and smiled "Yep, heading to California to record a new album." He said giving her hand a squeeze "Don't worry though, I'll make sure to call you everyday."

She smiled and shook her head. “I might actually get some work done with you away.” She teased him getting into the room and made her way straight to the bed and plopped onto it. “Mmm this is nice.” She smiled.

Eddie frowned and just held her close. “You think he’s gonna touch the mini bar?” He asked herswninf some.

Max shook her head some giving a small laugh "No, he does pretty good at listening to you." She murmured before cuddling him and dozing off.

Jamie got into the room with her and smiled widely "Oh is that so?" He teased while he locked the door. He plopped down next to her and nodded happily "Yes it is."

Eddie woke up groaning a little and got up to go get his phone as it was ringing, grumbling about being on his way then hung up. “I gotta get going. Your passes are in my rucksack. See you later.” He smiled and kissed her cheek, heading out.

Carmen had gone with Jamie to the venue and was just chilling in the backstage area, relaxing.

Max pulled on his hand some "Uh uh better give me a proper kiss." She murmured before kissing him lovingly "I'll see you later okay? Knock 'em dead." She said sweetly before letting him go while she went to get ready. She showed up with Aaron flashing her pass to security and taking him backstage to see Eddie before they went on.

Jamie sat in the backstage area already made up. His black ripped jeans, ripped up white shirt, and hair all dishevled. He held her close to him kissing the top of her head gently before smiling wide as Aaron came in "Aaron my boy! You ready to see your dad kill it on stage?"

Aaron looked over and nodded smiling. “Yeah, Moms not letting me go in the pit though.” He rolled his eyes looking over at her.

Eddie just nodded. “Yeah but you get to watch from side stage.” He pointed out and slung an arm around his shoulders, glancing over at max and winking at her.

Carmen smiled tiredly just reading through her book and letting everything wash over her a little, not feeling great but looking forward to the show.

Max gave a small laugh and smiled softly "Sorry bud, can't have you breaking an arm or foot in there. Not sure if you remember but their pits aren't for the faint of heart." She said before smiling at Eddie.

Jamie laughed happily and smiled more "Maybe one day." He said sitting there and talking with them for a while until they heard the crowd start to fall in "Well boys, it's time!"

Eddie had gone through his usual warm ups and kissed maxs cheek as she headed out to get photos, making his way onto the stage and playing their first gig together in two years at this point.

Carmen watched from the side of the stage as well, barely taking her eyes off Jamie and smiling feeling a little proud of the way so many of the women watched him too but he was coming to her bed every night. She just hoped they could find a way out of the pit they’d dug for themselves with the drugs.

Max smiled widely as she watched Eddie perform on the stage just like he used to. She took photos and just watched him in awe, this is what he was born for and she was happy to see him back there. She even teared up when he played the song he had written for her for the first time during the set. She ran backstage right after they got off and quickly put her camera down before running into Eddie's arms "You were amazing up there." She said happily before kissing all over his face.

Jamie let go of himself as they started in on the set. It was one of the only places where he felt a similar high to what he got from drugs. He ran backstage after the show ended and pulled Carmen into a sweaty hug "Well? What did you think?" He asked happily hoping she enjoyed the show.

Carmen squeaked but held onto him and smiled "So good." She told him happily, cupping his face "So proud." She told him, kissing him quickly. She would never have thought she'd end up with a musician let alone a successful touring artist like Jamie but it was working out well so far.

Gareth had gone up to Max and Eddie engulfing them both in a hug to get them covered in sweat, "Ah! You ready to hear the new ones once we get cracking on the new album? California here we come baby!" He grinned and walked away, completely oblivious to the shit storm he'd just caused while Eddie rolled his eyes and held her close "Where's Aaron gone?" He frowned, looking around and seeing he was busy trying to chat up a member of staff, "Hey, don't let the scruff fool you, he's not even 16." He told her, not wanting him to end up in sticky situations that could often come with shows "Shall we head back to the hotel?" HE asked her "Roadies will pack everything up."

Max laughed happily until she heard what Gareth said but kept quiet. She rolled her eyes some when she saw Aaron flirting "Oh no...It's too early for this!" She said pouting at Eddie "He is supposed to think girls are icky." She murmured before kissing him deeply "We're going to speak once back at the room." She murmured so only he heard.

Jamie smiled happily and kissed her back "I'm so happy to have you here." He said sweetly before stroking her cheek gently as he stared down at her "Lets get going, I need a shower with my woman." He murmured letting his hands slide to her ass squeezing it happily.

She giggled and nodded, following him out to the car after waving bye to everyone, seeing the guy stood next to it and realising that must be the dealer Jamie had mentioned before that he had in the city for shows, soon getting back in the car and sitting quiet until they eventually made it back to their room when she shnut the door behind them and immediately dragged him into the bathroom, stripping off and turning the shower on.

Eddie grimaced a little but took them to the car and headed back to the hotel, making sure Aaron had what he needed for the night before locking the door between their rooms and going to get cleaned up, sensing that Max was pissed about something, not sure what though seeing as he thought the whole night had gone great, wracking his brains to work out what he'd down wrong

Jamie smiled widely as they got back to the hotel. He stripped down and took her into the shower pressing himself to her "Not sure why...but being on stage, knowing you were there watching me....made me fucking hot." He muttered as he bit at her neck.

Max stayed quiet the rest of the ride home and sighed heavily. She frowned when he came into the room looking him up at down "California? When...when were you going to tell me about it?" She asked taking a shaky breath "How long will you be gone? Will you be staying there?"

He frowned and looked over at her "Babe... I only found out yesterday." He told her, "And I was gonna talk to you once I had all the answers to your questions." He pointed out, going further and making a big mistake in his choice of words, "But never mind, seems you're ready to jump to conclusions." He muttered and shook his head

She nodded and smiled "Oh yeah?" She murmured, pulling him in closer... They finished up with their shower and she got herselfa drink while he set things upb "What did you get us?" She asked him, taking a seat on the bed next to him

Max frowned deeply and glared at him "Conclusions huh? The fact that you never tell me things like this when you find out! Eddie I just don't want you to leave again!" She said shaking her head more "Can't you please just tell me when you find out?!"

Jamie smiled as he stepped out and slipped on his boxers "Oh love, the best of the best." He said flicking the needle for taking her arm. He kissed her lovingly before he put the needle in her arm.

She smiled and leaned back, helping him out with his dose as well and soon felt everything taking affect, going to get her drink off the side, "Jamie... What is this stuff?" She asked him after a while, starting to feel. funny but looked over to see he wasn't looking so good either, heading to open the door and managed to get halfway out before passing out.

Aaron frowned as he could hear the arguing getting worse, just shaking his head a little and got up to go se if Carmen and Jamie would let him sit in their room for a little while until the argument was over, heading to their room but froze seeing her passed out in the doorway and he ran back to his parents' room, banging on the door repeatedly.

Eddie glared at her "Don't. Do not start that because I asked you to come and you're the one who just never showed up! I am over that. I have moved on!" He snapped at her "But why the fuck would I tell you something for you to panic and then we end up in another one of these?!" He spat, looking over when there was banging on the door "Great we're probably getting asked to shut up." He muttered, heading over there after pulling sweat pants on and opened the door, "Aaron what are you doing?" He muttered, seeing he was out of breath

Max frowned more and shook her head some "Thats not what I mean!" She said before frowning when there was a knock at the door. She stood up quickly when she heard Aaron say 'Aunt Carmen and Jamie....something is very wrong.' She rushed to their room and went wide eyed quickly checking Carmen's pulse "Eddie call an ambulance NOW." She yelled to them before going to check Jamie as well.

Jamie slurred some when he heard Max's voice and felt her slapping his face "Carm...Carmen..." he slurred before blacking out.

Eddie got down there and immediately called emergency services telling them he needed two ambulances because of two overdoses, pulling max to stand back once the emts arrived and had Aaron stay with her while he rushed to Gareth’s room “Hey… Jamie fucking did it. Him and carmen overdosed. Paramedics are over there now.” He told him quickly

Max held Aaron close to her keeping him shielded from seeing the EMTs wheel them out. She gave a heavy sigh and looked at Eddie as he walked out of Gareth's room "You go with them, I'll stay with Aaron for now." She said letting him follow the EMTs out.

He nodded and frowned, kissing her head quickly, going in the one with Jamie, worried sick about his best friend. They hadn't been as close since the hiatus started but normally they were like brothers and he felt a little responsible for the path he'd gone down.

Eddie called her early the next morning, rubbing at his face while he stood outside the hospital with a cigarette, "Hey... They're still hanging on. Doctor said it was a really nasty mix that they had so either they did it on purpose or their dealer fucked up.... I don't think it was on purpose... Uh, Jamie should be awake in the next couple hours or so." He told her gently, sitting down and running a hand through his hair "How's Aaron holding up?"

Max answered his call the next morning giving a heavy sigh "Aaron is shaken up, slept with me last night but now he is in his room watching TV." She said giving a heavy sigh. She ran a hand through her hair starting to worry "How is Carmen? Is she okay?" She asked worriedly

He frowned "Why don't you guys go ahead and get room service, tell him to go for the mini bar if he wants." He sighed a little "I'll get Gareth to check in on you guys." HE told her, trying to avoid her question about Carmen, not wanting to have to tell her

Max frowned more and shook her head some "No he is fine without the mini bar. Eddie whats wrong with Carmen?" She said taking a deep breath trying to keep herself calm and not explode at him "Please stop avoiding my question Ed.." she pleaded

He sighed heavily and rubbed at his face "She didn't take it so well... She's still not breathing on her own and they won't tell me much more besides they don't think she's gonna make it. I think you're on her emergency contact list so I think you should get more information from them." He told her, frowning some.
