Eddie smiled widely at her and gave a fast happy nod before moving to sit with her. He let her fall asleep against him before he called up Wayne to give him the news. "I promise I will." He said quietly before letting him go. He called Dustin next chuckling when he answered almost instantly "Isn't it past your bedtime Hendersen?" He teased

He grinned and leaned back "Pulling an all nighter. Is the record out? Is the baby out?! Eddie is the baby out?!" He asked him quickly, stepping out when his college roommate shushed him, grinning when he said yes "You serious? Oh I gotta get down to you guys. Does she like my blanket?" He asked, nodding a little when he said that she wasn't technically here yet but she was on her way "Okay I'll uh... I can get down this coming weekend! This is so exciting!" He grinned, hanging up once Eddie said he had to go and just grinned, excited to meet the kid.

Eddie laughed lightly at his excitement and nodded some "Yeah man, she's here." He said happily before laughing again "Okay hold on let me rephrase, she is on the way." He said before chatting just a bit longer and hanging up. He looked over when he saw Carmen stirring and kissed the top of her head "Dustin said he'll be down this weekend to meet her, you should have heard how excited he was."

She frowned a little and just nodded gripping at his hand as some more contractions went through her. “Can you get the midwife? I feel like I gotta push” she mumbled, just looking uncomfortable at this point.

Eddie nodded and quickly got up and rushed out to the nurses station "Hey! Hey can you guys help me?! My wife says she thinks she needs to push." He said a bit panicked

They went straight back to the room with him and started getting her ready while they waited on the doctor and eventually she was allowed to start pushing, gripping at eddies hand tightly, following instructions until she heard the screaming and crying from their little girl fill the room and leaned back covered in sweat and panting heavily, watching them let Eddie cut the cord and just lay back waiting to be able to hold her.

Eddie followe them inside and got scrubbed in while they got her set up. He rushed to her side when he was done and grabbed her hand smiling softly "You got this babe, I'm right here." He said just before she startes to push. As the rooms filled with screams and cries he felt an unmeasurable swell in his heart. He went over and cut the cord staring at his daughter in awe before they took her away. He went to Carmen's side again and watched her "She is beautiful Carmen.....oh sweetheart you did such an amazing job." He said before kissing the top of her head repeatedly

She smiled a little and just watched them getting her weighed and measured, finally getting her in her arms and lay back holding her close. “Oh hey… hey there sweet girl… you still happy to go with Julia?” She asked him smiling a little, finally passing her over to him so he could hold his daughter.

Eddie smiled widely and took the camera he had brought out snapping a few photos of them. He took her carefully into his arms afterwards and nodded some "Yeah Julia is perfect." He said quietly as he stared at his daughter tears falling freely down his face "What about a middle name?"

She smiled and just squeezed his arm. “I was thinking Dusty…. Like Springfield but also your first sprog.” She murmured watching him carefully, seeing the nurse come to take her to the nursery so that carmen could get some rest once they’d got her cleaned up, not needing to be told twice and she was out like a light.

Eddie smiled happily and nodded some "Yeah I like that a lot." He murmured before he let the nurse take her. He gave her a nod when she told him to sign a few papers including the birth certificate. He got it all filled out before sitting in the chair next to Carmen and finally falling asleep as well

They were sent home after a couple of days making sure they were set and both baby and carmen were healthy, getting to their place and carrying their daughter inside while she slept. “Babe can you put the carrier on the floor so Zep can smell it?” She called back to him, turning around seeing him trying to bring everything in in one trip just giggling at him “Your dad is the best.” She whispered to Julia, just smiling at him.

Eddie came up with hands full and a bag between his teeth as well. He was excited to get them both home and finally start their lives. He looked at Carmen when she asked him to put the carrier down and nodded placing it on the floor before putting everything else down on the couch. He immediately went to them and wrapped his arms around her "Our little family is complete now huh babe?"

She smiled and nodded leaning back against him and watching her yawn a bit. “She looks like you… I carry you for nine whole months and you come out looking like your dad.” She smiled, shaking her head.

Eddie laughed heartily as he looked down at his daughter "I think she looks like you too. Got your hair color." He murmured softly "Definitely got your eye shape too."

She smiled and went to lay her down for a bit, coming back out with the baby monitor and sat on the couch, rubbing at her face. “I love you.” She murmured, reaching up for his hand, gently tugging on him.

Eddie pouted as she put her down for a nap before letting her him down to the couch with her "I love you too." He murmured with a pout as he moved around the bags he had previously placed on there. He smiled a bit as Zep immediately jumped on her and started sniffing

She smiled a little and held his hand tightly “You sure you don’t wanna go to practice tomorrow?” She asked him quietly.

Eddie nodded some and began to pet behind Zep's ears "Yeah I'm good, I don't want you to be here alone." He murmured

She smiled and just watched him. “You know how proud of you I am?” She asked him quietly, kissing his knuckles and watching him. “The only thing I worry about is that once this all kicks off. Like really kicks off… that you lose yourself in it… just remember what you got at home okay?” She murmured watching him.

Eddie gave her a small smile and moved to where he was kneeling infront of her "I promise, I'm going to be coming home to you always." He murmured before kissing her gently "And once we get enough, I'm buying you a house. Nothing super lavish, but a proper home in the suburbs, we can take little Julia on bike rides, or walk her up to the school 'cause it'll be down the street." He rambled just telling her his dreams and plans for their future.

She smiled a little and watched him. “No teaching her how to Hotwire a car though.” She teased him, watching him tiredly until she heard their little one crying watching him jump up to go get her.

Eddie laughed some and crossed his heart "I promise I won't." He said before quickly jumping up when he heard her crying. He brought her out and smiled as he cooed at her "Oh hey there my little princess. Oh yeah you're hungry huh? Yeah you need some of that special milk?"

She smiled as she had already got ready, reaching for her and cradled her close helping her get latched on. “I still feel like we’ve stolen her.” She mumbled happily, “you wanna get me a drink? Arizona tea from the bottom drawer?” She smiled tiredly, resting her head back and watching her.

Eddie handed her over and laughed lightly "Sure does feel that way huh?" He said happily before getting her and himself a drink. He sat next to her and opened the can for her "Here you go, you need anything else?"
