Eddie left quickly after that and smiled happily throughout the day just remembering how happy Carmen looked. He made his way home later after making a few sales. He walked in to find Carmen watching TV on the sofa "Hello beautiful." He said happily

She grunted as a response with a sick bowl next to her and Zep using her bump to make bread. “Babe I know you’ve been at work I know you’re exhausted but I have a favor to ask.” She mumbled, “can you please run a really lukewarm bath? I can’t get up or I’m gonna puke but I can’t stop puking unless I get in the bath and cool down a bit” she mumbled.

Eddie frowned as he noticed the state she was in and gave a nod to her "Okay, let me clean my hands and I'll get it ready." He said before running to the bathroom. He freshened himself up making sure to get all the grease and motor oil he could off of him before he got the bath started. He went back out and shooed Zep off of her before he carried her bridal style to the bathroom "Puke on me if you have to babe." He murmured seeing the look on her face

She frowned and just leaned into him, “she’s been kicking my spine all day as well.” She grumbled. “Mmm how was it today?” She asked him quietly, getting in the bath with a little help, smiling when he just sat on the floor with her. “I love you.” She murmured, giving his hand a squeeze.

Eddie lowered her into the tub and smiled softly. He sat next to her and sighed softly "I'm so sorry babe." He murmured letting his other hand go into the water and rub her bump "Now you be good to your momma young lady." He said trying to be stern but soon broke out into a laugh with her

She smiled tiredly leaning her head back and watched him. “You excited for tomorrow?” She asked him quietly, already feeling a little better from the cool water, closing her eyes a little.

Eddie gave a small nod before sighing softly "Yeah a little nervous because those record guys will be there." He said just rubbing circles on her stomach "I think this may be it though. Like its our time."

She smiled and looked up at him again. “Okay the same show you always do. They’re gonna be there cause enough people have been talking about you guys. Don’t change it up now.” She mumbled, reaching over and taking his hand. “You wanna join me in here?”

Eddie nodded giving her a small smile "Wasn't planning on changing it." He said happily before giving her an excited nod. He quickly stripped and joined her wrapping his arms around her body "You and the little alien are everything to me you know that?" He murmured quietly to her

She frowned and looked up at him “she’s not an alien.” She mumbled. “Just remember she’s part of you.” She muttered, started to cry finding even the smallest things were setting her off.

Eddie frowned deeply as she started to cry "Oh sweetheart I'm sorry. I was just joking, I didn't mean to upset you." He murmured kissing the top of her head repeatedly squeezing her some trying to comfort her.

She grumbled a little and just traced his bats, resting her head against his shoulder. “She’s your daughter…. In fact Sarah at the salon told me she’s about as big as a cauliflower.” She told him.

Eddie smiled some "I know she is, a cauliflower huh? Well I hope she is a chunky baby, that whay I can squish her."

She smiled tiredly and nodded, “she’s got the hiccups right now.” She giggled looking down and seeing her bump bouncing a little every few seconds. “Jen said I could sit behind the bar tomorrow night so you don’t make me sit at the back of the room.” She murmured, finally washing g up to get out and get into comfy clothes

Eddie watched her stomach and laughed lightly "That is so weird yet facinating." He said as he rubbed circles on her. He gave a nod and smiled some more "Oh thats good, get a better view of us then." He said before he washed up as well. He got out with her and dried off just putting on some boxers and an old shirt "You hungry at all?"

She shook her head. “No but if you do food I might eat.” She told him, kissing his cheek and went to lay down curled up in bed, ending up falling asleep with Zep curled up to her and kneading her bump again happily.

Eddie went into the room after he had cookes food but smiled seeing her asleep. He decided not to wake her and just placed the left overs in the fridge before going to the baby room to try and start on making this crib. He stayed up late that night to finish and finally made it to bed around 1 a.m.

She was still feeling a little off by the time they were getting ready for his show the next evening, not paying much attention whike she was in the nicest maternity dress she’d been able to find, just mooching on the couch while he loaded the van and finally made her way down with him, “you should have a shot when we get there. Just to calm your nerves a little.” She murmured.

Eddie got ready for the show the next evening trying to keep his nerves under control. "Yeah i might." He said softly trying to make sure he had everything. He was also nervous about playing without Sweetheart as well. He knew he could play other guitars but she was always his first and foremost.

She smiled a little and reached over taking his free hand. “Hey. You’re gonna do great babe.” She murmured. “If not I could always try bribing them with my boobs.” She smiled a little, resting her head back and going inside with him once they arrived, going straight to the dressing room to sit down for a bit, frowning at his guitar case. “Did you mean to bring this guitar?” She asked him a little concerned.

Eddie smiled and laughed a bit "Nope those are all mine sweetheart." He said before driving off. As they got into the dressing room he sighed as he put his guitar case down "Huh? Oh yeah, this is the one I meant to bring." He said softly as he picked up the guitar and started to tune it

She frowned and watched him. “But you always bring sweetheart.” She mumbled and thought about it for a minute before it dawned on her. “Eddie how did you pay for the crib?” She asked him seriously, passing him the packet of strings for him to change one when it snapped.

Eddie took the string and shrugged some "Took her down to the pawn shop. Got a good price was only a couple dollars short for the crib." He said as he focused on getting the guitar string put on properly

She frowned and got up, walking over and kissed his cheek. “Alright… I’m gonna go get a drink okay? You’re gonna do great.” She murmured, lingering for a minute before heading out to the bar and thanking the girl that let her come sit behind it to watch the show.

Eddie smiled softly and nodded some "Alright beautiful." He murmured before he finished getting ready. As the show came to a close he felt a massive weight lift off of him. They had put on one of their best shows to date and when they got back to the dressing room a record agent was already there waiting
