Norman gave a heavy sigh as Jon came in shaking his head some "Jon this one is bad......there is barely a body left." He muttered before he went through to look at it.

EZ grunted softly and nodded some smiling a bit "He was so strong...it was....different."

Carmen frowned shaking her head. “EZ stop, it’s alright we’re gonna get this sorted but you gotta rest.” She murmured kissing his head “I’m gonna go grab some food.” She told him quietly heading downstairs to get something to eat.

he sighed heavily as he followed him through to take a look, gritting his teeth and shook his head. “Get things processed, I have a good idea where they all came from, keep doing the police official work on this and I will handle it.” He promised Norman quietly.

EZ nodded some before he started to fall aslee0 again. He woke up when he heard her come back in and smiled some "Hey.."

Max looked at Jon as he came home and gave a small smile "I've got some dinner made if you want any, if not you can take it for lunch." She murmured frowning at the look on his face "How bad was it?"

He frowned some and sat down "I want you staying here as much as you can... At the very least only make trips into town in broad daylight... Just until I get this sorted." He muttered "Brely left any body at all... Most of the torso was missing and an arm... They have no control over their youngstrs." He muttered shaking his head some "I'm gonna go talk to them tomorrow, he shouldn't be fuly healed yet... It'll be the safest time to do so." He told her quietly and pecked her cheek, going to take a shower, food was the last thing on his mind.

Carmen frowned some as she moved to sit with him, helping him get propped up "How you feeling?" She asked him quietly, worryig about him and about their future at the moment. She didn't want to have to move again, not after they were just starting to finally get settled but it wasn't looking very promising.

Max gave a small nod and sighed heavily kissing his cheek "Alright love, be careful though." She murmured before she went to put food away and clean up the house. She soon went up to the room and heard rhe shower still going. She went inside the restroom and joined him "Water will be cold soon babe."

EZ grunted softly "I'm okay...very sore." He murmured before he groaned hearing his stomach grumble "Apparently I'm hungry too." He muttered.

He grunted in response and just stood under the water letting his mind wander all over the place until he finally turned it off once they were done, going to get into some shorts and get into bed.

carmen frowned some kissing his cheek. “You’re lucky that I love you.” She mumbled passing him the plate she’d brought up before going to get another for herself from downstairs.

Max got in bed with him and curled up close kissing him gently "I love you so much Jon, more than anything in this world." She whispered cupping his face gently and pressing her forehead to his

She smiled helping him sit up a bit more, feeding him forkfuls to help him get a bit more down before taking their plates down and coming back up. “I love you too handsome... hurry up and heal so we can start making babies... preferably before your brother gets here you know how he walks in unannounced.” She murmured, letting EZ lay back against her and kissed his head.

He smiled some. “Mmm...I hope so otherwise you married the wrong guy.” He chuckled as she swatted him. “Let’s get some sleep...you got high school yearbook photostomorrow don’t you?” He asked her glancing at her calendar.

EZ laughed some but soon went into a coughing fit. Once she helped him calm down he gave her a soft smile "You're in heat soon right? We could definitely have one then." He murmured already smelling the feramones starting to come off her.

Max nodded some and yawned some "Yeah I do, hopefully the kids will cooperate." She murmured before started to drift off to sleep

"I'm glad you have a clue cause I never do." She winked at him, rubbing his chest gently on the good side, "Only if you're better." She murmured, kissing his head, "Otherwise I'm sleeping in Laura's room." She teased him, running her fingers through his curls "I love t when you leave it curly." She murmued softly to him, "Get some sleep little spoon." she smiled tiredly, keeping her arms around him as tight as she could before going to sleep.

He smiled a little and pulled her tightly into his arms, holding her so he knew she was safe like he'd done every night since they'd met and eventually fell asleep himself

EZ chuckled again before he kissed her forehead and started to fall asleep with her next to him.

Max woke up the next morning and got ready for her work day giving a smile when she saw Jon come down "Hey handsome." She said happily. She didn't work all the time but she was fhe local photographer around town so when anyone needed photos taken for anything they came to her.

He woke up later than her for once and got up, chucking easy clothes on and headed down, pecking her cheek, "Hey, I'm heading over there to talk to them.... I'll call you soon as I'm done, if you don't hear from me by midday, call Norman." He told her, kissing her gently, "I love you, don't kill the teenagers." He chuckled and pecked her cheek before heading out.

Carmen woke up groaning a little as she felt like she couldn't breathe, panicking momentarily until she realised EZ's deadweight was on top of her and she carefully but firmly pushed him off, getting up and going down to help get breakfast sorted

Max laughed lightly and gave him a small kiss "Be careful okay?" She told him seriously before he left while she got back to getting ready.

EZ groaned when he flopped onto the bed frowning when he heard loud yelling downstairs. His strength was back to beibg somewhat okay. He got up and shuffled downstairs frowning when he smelt someone not of his pack at the door

Carmen frowned going to answer it before she felt EZ’s hand on hers moving her out the way. “Boys go to the lounge. Now.” She told the youngsters, standing behind EZ still while he answered the door

Jon found the house without much trouble and quickly made his way over to the front door ready to sit down and have a proper conversation this time, smiling some when he saw the guy open it. “Morning. You wanna come out here or am I coming in?” He asked exuding all the power and confidence of a much higher ranking alpha than EZ was

EZ frowned more and took a deep breath "If you're here to kill my men then get out." He said in a deathly calm voice trying to show his power as well but Jon's was much more than his.

"Do you really think I'd announce myself if that was why I came here? Let's do this inside." He muttered and stepped in, brushing past him and went to find the dining room, gesturing for the young man to follow him, "We need to discuss your pack." He muttered "And the way they've bolstered their way into my community." He muttered.

Carmen frowned as she watched him, staying in the kitchen while they sat in the dining room, finally seeing Jonny come down and nodded towards the room for him to go sit down as well just in case while she kept an ear out

EZ glared at him and followed him to the dining room shaking his head some. He sat down and gave a heavy sigh "How I run my pack is none of your business." He spat glaring back at him

"No it's not... Or at least it wasn't until you fucking left bodies in my town and endangered my freedom! We were here first and we don't mind sharing a town but I swear if you create more problems then I won't hesitate in taking out the trash. You wouldn't be the first pack I had to remove forcefully.... And more importantly... If I ever, see one of your youngsters going for my mate again I won't stop at a mild telling off.. Their heads will be ripped from their bodies do I make myself clear? Get your pack under control before I have to do it for you." He snarled at him, standing up "Or maybe if you don't listen I'll let your mate live without hers for the rest of her life." He spat at him, "If you need help, my name is Jon. I'll see myself out." He muttered and got up, leaving the house and taking off back home

EZ frowned more and shook his head some "Who the fuck does he think he is coming here and demanding things?" He grunted as he heard the door close looking over at Jonny

Max sat at the school shooting for a while smiling when she saw Jon is the auditorium entrance "Hey handsome." She said happily before she went over to him and kissed him gently

"Hey... They don't know what the hell they're doing.. He didn't even have a response for me... I'm gonna leave them to it for today but from here on out, any tiny screw up and I'm going down there." He muttered shaking his head some. "How's it going here?" He asked her quietly.

Carmen frowned stepping into the room looking white as a sheet "Did he just say his name was Jon? Like the alpha I saw when... That's him EZ." She mumbled, shaking a little.

Max sighed heavily and gave a small nod "Just be careful okay? Let them know you mean them no harm if they show that they want to change." She said quietly and gave a small shrug "Its a usual highschool day. Some kids look crazy some go natural." She said

EZ gave a small nod and frowned more shaking his head a bit "You think he is a threat to us?"

She frowned shaking her head "I don't know... it's still real fuzzy on details." She mumbed, rubbing at her face and sitting with him, "I'm gonna go for a walk alright? I need to... clear my head after the past few days." she mumbled, running a hand through her hair and pecked his cheek before heading out.

Jon smiled some and kissed her temple "Mmm... I know love... You want me to go get you some lunch?" He asked her quietly, "I got a full day off." He smiled some, kissing her cheek and stepping away a bit, ready to go get food

Max smiled some at him and gave a small nod "Yeah that would be great." She said softly kissing his cheek gently "Can you get me some chicken nuggets?" She asked softly

EZ stood up and nodded some "Let me ...go with...you." he muttered starting to get worn out from exerting his energy

"EZ... Baby go sit down, you're getting there but I need some space alright?" she coaxed, heping him up and out to the lounge to lay down on the couch. "Rest for me okay?" She murmured

Jon smiled and pecked her cheek giving her a salute and headed out to get them lunch, enjoying a full day off for once. He'd been thinking about stepping down and handing his position to Norman. He wanted to be spending more time with Max and with his curent job he just didn't have much time to do anything. Plus the late night calls to work were getting exhausting

EZ took a deep breath and gave a small nod sighing heavily "Be careful...for me." He murmured kissing her hand as he layed down and let her go off.

Max finished up her last sessiom before her lunch when Jon had made his way back. She gave a small smile at him and sat down at one of the small tables they had outside for the space she was working in "So I was thinking about maybe giving the house a fresh coat of paint? I don't know maybe decorate the outside or something. Photo gigs aren't coming in as often anymore."
