Yes.Aniihya, are half human half goblins possible? Not that I want to necessarily make one but just curious to see if it is an option.
I’ll gladly make a weaknesses tab if you’d like. I didn’t really think to do So because he has no extra protections so he would have the same weaknesses as a normal dwarf he is just able to deal high damage with his weapons so a glass cannon type with a small bit of added defense on account of dwarven sturdiness.WeaselThor how about you underline your character's drawbacks in the profile?
Regarding the height of Sendoa, she is just tall and more well built than most women. Partially, it might come from her ethnic background, however she'd still be kind of tall for her ethnicity. Imagine her ethnic background is a people from the steppes who were mostly warriors but also traders or by foreign standards "barbarians". Originally, I also wanted to make her darker, like a middle eastern tone. But let's say she is a little more tan than what is usual for Vaesmarsh humans, elves and dwarves.
Doesn't need to be a full tab on it. Just something like "unable to use most magics" or "physically weak" or something of the like. Something to compensate being a master at craftsmanship and marksmanship.I’ll gladly make a weaknesses tab if you’d like. And that’s awesome my brother is randomly giant at 6ft 7in with everyone else in my family being under 6ft so it interested me.
Well I added a strengths and weaknesses tab and covered some things I think may not have been made apparent such as a lack of armor, stealth, or mobility. And also magic though that’s debatable as one could argue his bullets count as combat magic but are limited in what he actually can enchant.Doesn't need to be a full tab on it. Also I am the tallest in my direct family, but not by much. My dad is just an inch shorter than me. My brother however is around five or six inches shorter than me (I am 6 ft or about 180cm).
Awesome thank you have we already started or are we waiting for more folks?Accepted
I think a couple people are still working on their charactersAwesome thank you have we already started or are we waiting for more folks?
Ok no problem I’ll lurk for now just let me know when we kick off. I’m excited to explore this world and interact with the players we have so far. I can’t wait to see the others.I think a couple people are still working on their characters
BuggaBoo How knowledgeable would surface dwarves be of the subterranean ones? Do we speak the same language? Are we basically the same but with different outward appearances?
Awesome, Gloxon personally has never been to the underground but we can say his Dah has been and told him stories as a child. He would obviously speak humanese as well though he would likely know Dwarven as well and one could make a decent case based off of his upbringing that he would know a little bit of subterranean, not enough to speak it or read but he would know Buzz words and enough to potentially learn the language if she would be willing to teach him. I could see them bonding over both living crafting and science.Thinking the Dwarves know of each other and have travelled to each others lands but I think surface/subterranean on terms of like being a continent and hemisphere over. Completely different environs, culture, magic and languages. Like imagine someone saying how they literally cannot stand the sun, stars, moon and the sky. But they basically come from the same family tree just evolved separately into distinct species. Kinda like a lynx and a cheetah. Similar but evolved for different means.
But like since she grew up on the surface, my girlie does speak Humanese with an underground accent lol
Mmmm... thinking not gunna be bonding with this charrie ugh. First off she's a "talk first, shoot never" kinda girlie and your dude is a gun-toting bouty hunter lol And like yeah, I went for someone who is polite but only relates to others on a surface level.(no pun intended ) So she'd be leaning towards the role of "demanding, high-maintenance bitch of the group that will not come around until after a significant change in her life happens" . Yeah , thinking she's gunna be 'that guy' for a good part of the RP. But bruh, we'll see how it goes.Awesome, Gloxon personally has never been to the underground but we can say his Dah has been and told him stories as a child. Fair enough, I suppose I must’ve misread the situation. I thought we were to operate as a team, but if our characters being unified is optional that does change my assessment of things considerablyMmmm... thinking not gunna be bonding with this charrie ugh. Hmmmmm.... I was under the premise of the RP that we've just recently been conscripted by the military and we are to receive training? It's why I made my charrie a civillian with no combat trainng whatsoever? Can you clarify TanteRegenbogenFair enough, I suppose I must’ve misread the situation. True but we will need to work as a team still as we will be in the military likely in the same unit. I just figured I would suggest potential bonding points. I’m not opposed to more organic character developments, just didn’t exactly read the character you made the same way you explain it is all, I figured she would be more friendly so I thought jolly old Gloxon would be a good fit for a friendship to grow. Though with that in mind I didn’t realize we were supposed to be quite so inexperienced so I may need to think of a way to rework Gloxon to make him a bit less seasoned.Hmmmmm....
