Sophie held on tight, determined to hold on.

Kero made it back to camp and collapsed. He was bleeding severely but he was more worried about Sophie.

Zack would also make it back, but he only suffered minor cuts abduction scratches from the splinters. The first thing he does is bolt inside to collect bandages.

 

[Sandra]

Kero saw yellow dots dancing in front of his eyes. He started to feel light headed. he groaned in pain.

 

[KapugenWolf]

Thia slowed to a stop just inside the camp. As soon as she could, she lowered herself to the ground and sighed deeply. She was exhausted after so much running.

 

[azimuth]

Zack would come running out with arm fulls of bandages. He stops by thia and Sophie, The later of the two will have been unconscious. (because she ain't on...) he dumps some of the bandages so thia could patch up Sophie. Zack then runs to Kero and starts wrapping him up.

After taking a moment to catch her breath, Thia slid out from under Sophie and shifted. She sat up and stretched before getting to work. She cleaned Sophie off as much as possible before gently wrapping the wounds that covered most of her body. After she tied off the last bandage she lifted Sophie into her arms and carried her to a bed. Once the rabbit hybrid was settled, Thia shifted again and curled up at the end of the bed. For some reason, she felt protective of Sophie.

 

[Sandra]

Kero groaned in more pain, the bullets got to him now, he cursed under his breath got those scientists.

Sophie groaned and felt around, touching thia's face. Sophie blinked, and touched the top of thia's head. "?" Sophie had a confused look in her face, and put her hand in front of her own face. She felt the burning in her arm each time she moved it. Sophie suddenly clasped her hand on her eyes, and a small tear was being hidden. All the places Sophie wanted to see... the mountains, the ocean, and her friend's faces... Sophie Did what a little girl would do, but she didn't care. She hugged thia weakly, still sobbing.

Zack finishes wrapping up keros bandages. "you are an idiot." He says bluntly.

Thia woke up the moment she felt the bed shift. She turned her head towards Sophie and her ears drooped down at the distraught expression on her face. When Sophie grabbed onto her Thia wrapped one front leg around her back and made a low noise in her throat. It wasn't a growl, but a comforting purr-like sound. As a wolf, Thia was enormous next to the small girl. Within moments, she shifted and wrapped both her arms around Sophie. "I'm so sorry I didn't get there sooner Sophie," she said, a few years escaping her own eyes in shared sadness.

"I-it's ok. I'm just glad that y-you all are s-safe..." "y-you never told me you're n-name, do you mind telling?" Sophie said softly and kindly.

 

[KapugenWolf]

Thia allowed a small smile to grace her lips at Sophie's concern. "My name is Alethia Silver, but call me Thia. I'm a wolf hybrid," she said, her voice low and soothing.

 

[crypsalis]

"O-oh! T-that's cool. D-did you get h-hurt?" Sophie didn't seem afraid of her, she trusted her. Sophie looked at thia, even though she couldn't see anything.

 

[azimuth]

Zack leaves Kero where he is. He goes inside and quietly pokes his head into the room the two are in. He sees that they are both awake. "how are things in here?" He asks casually.

At Sophie's question Thia raised her hand to her still bleeding cheek. She nodded before she remembered that Sophie couldn't see her. A sad expression crossed her face and she said, "A bullet grazed my cheek, but it's just a scratch."


When Zack poked his head in she turned her head and sighed. She spoke softly, "I think so, right Sophie?"

Sophie turns to the source of the sound. "Owl boy...?" Sophie 's eye's seem foggy and a lighter brown.

 

[Sandra]

Kero let out a hissing-spatting noise as he moved a little, he wished he didn't get so mad.

 

[azimuth]

"oh no." He walks over, having noticed her abnormal eye color. He also notices the she seems to stare off into space. "Are you okay?"

 

[crypsalis]

Sophie got her small health kit out, but couldn't find the opening. "We need to everyone's wounds treated... " Sophie would wince in pain when she moved.

 

[KapugenWolf]

"Sophie, you shouldn't be moving so much. We can take care of everything. You're very injured," Thia said, gently taking the health kit out of her hands and opening it.

 

[crypsalis]

Sophie looked up at Zack and smiled weakly. "I'm fine. Just a minor injury... you guys have to be taken care of, though!" Sophie said, very concerned. Sophie remembered the image where she was practically getting slowly skinned.

 

[Sandra]

Kero got up hissing and spatting again and walked over to where Zack was standing, he felt like he should not change back to his human form. He looked at Sophie, "Sophie.. I was so worried,.. " tears started to form. "Well, at least your safe." He gave her a slight smile.

 

[azimuth]

Zack sits on the bed with the two. "We got away, but Kero took a lot of rounds. He's patched up, for now. You and he had the most injuries."

Sophie smiled, noticing kero was really worried."group hug?" Sophie held out her arms.
