"Well now I am, and if you had just told me earlier you wouldn't have gotten so hurt!" She said

"I..." He broke off, unable to squelch a groan.

"Stop moving!  She said gently

 

[SorrelColonel]

"I'm not moving!" He managed to squeeze out before another sharp pain stabbed through him. 

 

[Tapadero]

"What's wrong then?" She asked gently

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Can't you..." He drew in a breath. "See it?"

 

[Tapadero]

"See what?" She said taking a breath before looking back

 

[SorrelColonel]

He didn't reply, but turned slightly so his back was facing her. 

 

[Tapadero]

She winced and took a breath before looking

His back was crossed with deep welts from the whip, some digging so deep they'd started to bleed.

"Yes, Sam, I can see it, but I have to get you out of here" she said gently

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Then let's go." He stood, clenching his jaw so hard his jaw muscles showed through the skin. 

 

[Tapadero]

TJ winced again and took his hand and lead him out. The paramedics took his quickly and helped him to lay on his stomach not wanting to hurt his back more, as they laid him on a board and heaved him into the Ambulance. TJ stayed close then glanced around she saw his father and gave him the nastiest glare she could before getting into the Ambulance. She quickly texted her Ian the whole story

He lay his head on his hands on the stretcher, trying not to wince.

Tj sat in the ambulance wincing at every bump hoping he was alright. They got him out at the hospital. TJ followed closly "Family only miss" TJ shook her head "No! I need to stay with him!" She demanded trying to push around the nurse to get back with Sam

Sam tried to twist around. "Let her through!" 

 

[Tapadero]

The nurse shook her head "I'm sorry miss you can't come through right now" TJ glared at her "I need to go through!" She growled balling her fists

"Let her through!" He tried to call. 

 

[Tapadero]

"Quite please, don't strain yourself" A female doctor tried to get him to calm. (Then started doing fixing stuff) 


the nurse shook her head "As soon as he is out of recovery you can see him"

He groaned quietly as they messed with his back, balling the sheet into his fist and clenching it tightly.

TJ paced desperately waiting for them to let her in

After a while, a nurse came out. "You can come see him now."

"Thank you!" She said furiously then walked quickly back "What. Room?" She asked turning and asking

"211." The nurse replied

TJ nodded and raced down the hall and entered into the room "Sam?" She asked softly knocking
