Sam was breathing heavily, pressing his head into the post to try to relieve the pain. Still, he didn't say anything as his father yelled at him again. 

 

[Tapadero]

She snatched her phone and raced back raising it to start snapping pictures, her first click though the volume was way up the the sound echoed through into the house her terrified eyes looked up meeting his fathers who saw her

 

[SorrelColonel]

Sam looked up. "Run-" his words were cut off by a sharp stab of pain and he ground his teeth, cutting himself off. His father moved towards her. 

 

[Tapadero]

Alex having one small messed up picture she turned and took off she raced to get to Gyspy

 

[SorrelColonel]

His father came back, realizing he couldn't catch her. "You told her?" He yelled. 

 

[Tapadero]

Alex mounted quickly and the froze realzing he wasn't following, and quickly dismounted with a deep breath walked nervously back to the window

 

[SorrelColonel]

He was standing there with a gun pointed at her. "Who are you?"

 

[Tapadero]

TJ  froze raising her hands "A friend" she said simply

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Who?" He demanded. 

 

[Tapadero]

"TJ, my name is TJ" she said softly 

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Well, TJ, go back to where you came from." 

 

[Tapadero]

"Not unless Sam goes with me" she responded

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Give me the phone and I'll ask him." He held out a hand. 

 

[Tapadero]

"Ask him what?" She asked clutching her phone

 

[SorrelColonel]

"If he knows you. And if he wants to come out." He clarified. 

 

[Tapadero]

"Alright, but I'll keep my phone" she said still clutching it desperate not wanting to let him take it and delete it

 

[SorrelColonel]

"If you want to see the boy, hand me the phone." He didn't move. 

 

[Tapadero]

Hesitantly she handed to her dad

 

[SorrelColonel]

He shoved it into his pocket and walked back inside. He stopped short when he saw two policemen in front of him, holding guns. "Put the gun down!" He had no choice but to do so, and they handcuffed him. 

 

[Tapadero]

TJ smiled and climbed into the window and grabbed her phone showing him the phone call with the police which was still going "You really should have checked" 

 

[SorrelColonel]

He growled, but the police took him away. Soon the house was silent except for a groan in the next room. 

 

[Tapadero]

TJ quickly raced into other room and winced finding Sam "I am so so sorry" she started to untie his hands

 

[SorrelColonel]

He clenched his jaw and groaned lowly as she did, his back beaten almost to the bare flesh. 

 

[Tapadero]

TJ couldn't look at his back it was pretty much entirely open and she was sure she could see bone in a couple spots "You should have let me help you" she said taking his hand gently not having the heart to make him move

"I couldn't drag you into..." he broke off to take a sharp breath in. "Into my life.."
