Jake kept waiting, occasionally looking back at the door. What if they were attacked? Jake tried not to think about it. He just wished that they would get out of there.

Nicholas sits down and sighs, the pizza was cooking and he was hungry. He puts his earphones in and begins listening to his music at full volume, he looks around and realises how vulnerable he is in this place so he sits in the corner away from the windows and pulls a .44 magnum out of a holster in his waistcoat and pulls the hammer back, if someone was coming for him he'd make sure to take a few of them down. Nicholas had only gone with Jake to learn about the supes further but now...he felt like this was the right thing to do, he had to help them. He chuckled, he wanted to destroy the supes but now he felt like they were his allies even though Jake hadn't really explained anything to him

Nicholas is nodding his head along to the music, the drumstep is too loud for him to hear Myles. He keeps a firm grip on the Magnum and keeps his finger away from the trigger as the firearms he owned all had hair triggers

She nodded and continued sipping. "That was a little odd... but at least now I know why. You know, I think I actually may have seen you before..." she noticed how he was hiding and she chuckled. "Alexxxx.... there's no need to hide from me. I'm not scary. Quite the contrary actually."

Realizing Marissa noticed what he was doing he quickly gulps down the wine.


"Bah. Me? Scared? Well I guess you do pack a mean punch." He rubs his cheek. "Well seeing as how I'm done with my food. I suppose now I shall order desert as well. Hmm I'll have a Mudslide. (Mudslide is a decadent mix of vodka, Kahlua and Bailey's Irish Cream. Perfect for sipping in warm weather, this frozen cocktail is rich, sweet and very, very cold. Mine has whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a cherry on top.

She glared. "Har har. I said I was sorry!" Marissa pouted for a second and heard Alex order. "Ooooh... make that two please!"

The cold Mudslides arrive. Alex takes his drink and stirs it well. "If you don't stir it well all of the vodka stays at the bottom. It ruins the sweetness of the beverage. I find it's better to spread the vodka out evenly."

Marissa stirred it, copying him. "Dang... you know a lot about food... ulyou must be a great cook." She smiled and took a bite. "Have good taste too... this is awesome!" She started diving through it and then realized how unladylike she was being. Marissa blushed and sunk in her seat.

(Mudslide is a drink. Although I guess you could eat it with a spoon as it has ice cream in it.) At this point Alex is a little tipsy.


"Yes. I am an amazing cook! This steak we had? I could do better. Waiter! Bring the check." Paying for the food. He leans on Marissa. "Sweetie can you drive? I think I'm not in the best condition to do it. I'll do it though! I'm a man! A good man!." God what am I saying? Phew keep it down. A little red wine some sugar and some vodka? I've had worse. @Talia xP

Raven stood slightly behind Max, eyeing Jake cautiously. She didn't like new people, and this one put her on edge a little. Raven watched him, practically from over Max's shoulder,with big yellow eyes and scowled a little. She reached forward and curled her and around Max's bicep. Not out of fear, but incase they needed to run, and he also made her feel safe, not that she would admit it.

Marissa laughed and practically dragged him out of the restaurant. "C'mon Mr. Tipsy. Let's get you in the car." She helped him in and buckled him up. She smiled. He won't remember this. She gave him a quick kiss and blushed, closing the door amd getting in the driver's seat, speeding off.

(On the cheek I'm assuming? Hahaha. Also I thought Marissa hadn't even been in a car before xD ? And that's ok I forgive you. Maybe ) Did she just kiss me? No I must be imagining things. "Marissa. Did I ever tell you that I love you? Because I do. And it's not the alcohol talking. I really do love you."


God. Just vomit the words harder why don't you? Ughh let me change the subject... "You know. My parents hated supers. They HATED them. When I was born they, they didn't even know I was a super. Or maybe they pretended not to know. I'm not sure. They were mysterious. No. Secretive. For all I know they're still alive." He grabs Marissas hand and kisses it. "We'll be good parents right Marissa?" What did I just say????

She blushed even harder. "I love you too Alex... " Marissa listened to him talk about his parents and thought. "You know, there could be something in Elya's files about your parents. We could go back there when the coast is clear..." she did her best to drive. She had remembered some tips from an old friend of hers. Even though the stops were abrupt and the driving was rough, she was doing ok. Marissa then heard the parents comment and almost fainted. "O-oh.... yeah... I guess so." She laughed, wanting to hide.

Max feels her arm wrap around his, and a light, happy feeling flows through his heart, happy that she trusted him. He nods at Jakes words.


"Follow me then."


Max looks down the lobby hall, leading the other two down with him. He quickly takes a sharp left, leading them down a flight of stairs, leading to the garage. Max walks up to a white Porsche 918 Spyder, its slick design making its matte white paint look even more competitive.

Max pushes the unlock button on his keys, and the two doors cleanly open. Max pushes the passenger shotgun seat forward, allowing Jake to crawl in the back.
