Nicholas skids the car to a halt outside the safehouse "we're already here" he gets out of the car and loosens his tie "Jake should be back soon"

Marissa smiled at his comment and squeezed his hand. No going back now. I love him. No, adore. She smirked when he opened the car door and then she hugged him. "Thank you Alex..." Once they got in the restaurant, she looked at the menu, but couldn't help but stare at Alex for a minute. When he glanced up, she blushed and hid behind the menu.

Alex chuckles. Looking at Marissa. "Marissa the waiter will be here soon. What will he think with you hiding behind your menu?"

She slowly put down the menu and chuckled. "Yeahhh you're right." Marissa took a deep breath and cleared her throat. "Whatcha thinking about getting?"

Browsing the menu. "Well I do enjoy a good steak. Hmm but I'm not that hungry. I think I'll just order a New York Strip by itself."


Stomach rumbling. "Hahaha. And maybe a desert." Ughh what a lame move.

Jake reached the lobby and waited. He was glad that he didn't get shot by Max. Though he understood the precautions, after all Max did run away from the organization he worked for. He kept watching the elevator, waiting.

Suddenly, before Raven could even react, Max pulls her into an brace, holding it for a few seconds.


"No matter what, I'm keeping you safe."


And with that, he releases before going into his own bedroom and packing.

She smirked. "Not hungry, eh? You're stomach says otherwise." She smiles and nods as the waiter comes by. "Alex go ahead. Whatever meal you get, I'll get. Then I'll order dessert." She looked at the menu and looked at all the sweet treats the restaurant was offering.

"Alright then. We'll have two new york strips. Medium-well. Looks at Marissa. "Oh we forgot the drinks." @Talia xP

"Alright let's have some Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. OK well that'll be it"


Turning to Marissa. "It's a wine that is paired with meat often. Uh not that I would know."

Nicholas takes his weapon case from Myles and walks into the safehouse. He walks into the room he slept in and begins speaking to the case "activate armour procedure. Designation: Bushi" the case beeps in response and Nicholas smiles, he would show everyone the armour later

Now your talking to yourself bud? I call from the kitchen.

"Nope! Taljing to my weapon case!" Nicholas shouts back as he slides the case under the bed

She giggled. "Why are you looking down? There's nothing to be embarrassed about..." She ordered a turtle cheesecake and waited patiently.

"Alright then. Well I guess now we just wait for our food" Taking a sip of wine.

Marissa looked at the wine and sipped it, sighing contently. "Alex... through all this chaos, you've never told me much about yourself. You know a lot about me already. And we have time... so why don't you tell me now?"

Smirking. "Oh you want to know more about me? What about that air of mystery you've grown to love?" Sighing. "My parents set an amazing example.They were Elyas top researchers after all. Max was finishing his packing before getting up and closing the suit case. He kicks it back up, walking out of the room. He looks back at Raven, his hand on the door. He had a silver rectangular backpack on as well, most likely holding his sniper rifle and other weapons.


"Ready to go?"

She shrugged. "I was just curious... although the mystery was nice..." She blushed. Marissa listened carefully as the waiter brought their food. "Elya's top researchers?!" She got even more interested in his past. Once she met his eyes, she melted. His eyes are so beautiful... Even if he remains mysterious, who could not love this guy?
