Dazed, confused, but chugging on.
"Hey. Hey." Lucky snapped mildly. "I'm three years old, sure, but me springs aren't windin' down yet." He tried to hop in place, only to net the same result. This time, however, he managed to lift himself, though he still couldn't seem to keep his weight on his feet alone.

"Woah, you really do?" Megumin gasped. "Um...Gosh, I've never tried this before, just warning you." She pointed her staff at the ground, her grip flunctuating. She knew better than anyone else how much damage Explosion could do, even if she couldn't dare use its full power. It would leave them scorched at best, and at worst, the others would come "home" to a landscape of ash.
"Kazuma...What would he want?" Kazuma would probably be halfway there on foot by now. He wouldn't want her to do this. But, damn it all, this was important! If she died...She would at least be able to say that she tried?
"Are you sure you don't want to stop me?...Okay..." Her knees began to jiggle, while her lip was firmly held in her teeth. Once more did she make sure her hat and cape were on tight. She could hear everyone yelling at her to not do this, as though there was another option. And of course she doubted that there wasn't one. Motivation, she needed motivation...
"HAHAHA!" Ribcage cackled in her head. "You better hurry up, before I make myself a saddle out of Natasha, a violin case out of Julia, a zoo attraction out of Sora, and, um...Well, my point is, I'm gonna hurt all your friends!" It was working! Megumin's frightened expression slowly melted off, revealing a hidden war face. "Because I'm a big, fat asshole!" Shouted Ribcage.
Shutting her eyes tight, she let heat course all through her body. The good old Explosion from the good old days was struggling to climb back into view. She could feel her vision and thought process beginning to glitch. She couldn't, she wouldn't, let it stop her!
"All right, I think I'm prepared. If I'm paralyzed when we land, just shake me or something, okay? Just give me a good thwack on my head. Now, then. Sorry about this, Mewtwo, but I know I've got this!"
"EEEEEEEEEEEXXXX...PLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSIIIIIOOOOONNNNNNNNNNN!" Like she had never, ever done it before, Megumin let the gorgeous word flow from the depths of her chest and lungs. She made sure it was clear. She made sure it rang in the desert air. Why, there were even a couple tears running down her cheeks as she finally had her chance to rekindle her beautiful spell!
Just as intended, Explosion launched the archwizard and her mutant companion high into the air, soaring across the path the others left, trailing smoke and embers. The metal platform kept them from being incinerated, but it did glow brightly from the heat. It was easily enough power to rocket them to where they needed to be...But would they actually land with the extraction team, as Megumin wished?
CocoaMarshmallow Everyone else...Who wants Meg to land next to them?
