Fantasy Hunter's Moon: The Sin & Sentence [IC] [CLOSED]

Venextos watched the group converse and interact, seeing Henderson with his plight of the drink, Inari write something onto Loque, and listened in on the various conversations. As he did so, he drank his brandy and savored its flavors. It was quite sweet and smooth, the kind that he liked most appealing to his palate. Although a real good drink would be some Escarian wine, but that would be better suited for an actual meal rather than just for enjoying a refreshing beverage. When Cat spoke about lunch being served soon, he did begin to notice that his stomach was quite empty and eagerly awaited what was to be made. But what also piqued his interest was this mysterious 'other patron'. And so, the wizard quickly downed the rest of his drink and set his glass aside for Wesix to take care of, thanking him quickly before moving away.

And who would this other patron be? he thought to himself as he made his way in the general direction that this patron was at.

Venextos made his way back down the hallways, past their rooms where Hudson had finally returned and where Riberta and Vincent were already. Soon, he found himself at the next occupied room. The door was slightly ajar, cracked open just far enough to peek inside. Humming could faintly be heard, along with a little shuffling and movement.

Hudson shuffled past Cat at his slow gait, just to see Venextos start trailing behind him to the rooms. Eventually Venextos would stop at a door that was left opena tad, getting the hunter to note the door the strange man stopped at. This got him to pause his journey back to his room to observe the goings on, for that wasn't a cabin any of their group had taken, clearly.

The humming stopped, as did the movement. "Hang on a minute. I ain't decent." said a femine voice. An accent, definitely from South Atraca. A few moments later, there was more movement, and soon footsteps towards the door. It opened, and there stood another demon. Her skin was a deep blue, hair long and black as well as tied up in a rough, loose ponytail. Her black horns, sharp but smooth, started at the sides of her head and curved to point ahead like a bull's. She stood before Venextos, clad in a button up shirt which hung down to hide whatever undergarments she was wearing as she lacked pants. Her black and gold eyes studied Venextos for a moment, as her eyebrow raised up sharply. "Yeah? Somethin' ya need?" She asked folding her arms. "I'm kinda on break, so if yer lookin' to fool around or somethin', yer shit outta luck, amigo."

"I do apologize madame, but our host Cat did mention there was another occupant on this train. I was just seeing who our friendly neighbor was." Venextos replied with a friendly attitude and a smile. "I am Venextos, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

"I am Venextos, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

"Kassidy." responded the blue demon, tilting her head. She peeked out into the hallway, leaning forward ever so slightly so she could see down the hallway. She spotted Hudson, and gave him a simple wave. "Howdy." she said aloud, before straightening back up and looking to Venextos. "Didn't think I had neighbors. All Cat told me was lunch'd be ready in a bit."

Hudson held a glare at the succubus as he stood there motionless, not bothering to gesture to respond to the wave. He had to question why so many lust demons were on this train, as his disposition continued to worsen. At least wrath demons were straightforward, yet succubi and their ilk always liked to beguile and distract instead. The hunter was not having it, and he simply adjusted his hat downward before stepping off into his room.

"Indeed. The banquets here are quite delectable." Venextos replied before taking a quick glance at Hudson, who was silent but still quite hostile in attitude as shown by his glare before stepping into his room to be alone. "Don't mind him... he's had a rough time. Say, I'm curious about your accent. I didn't think demons were capable of having distinct accents like that apart from what their vessel would have. If you would join us at lunch, I would like to hear more."

Kassidy eyed Venextos for a moment, then nodded. "A'ight. Guess it's better than eatin' alone..." she said, before looking down at her attire. She made a face, before shrugging. "...guess I'd better get dressed too. Don't need anyone droolin' over me or tryin' to see the color o' my delicates...at least not till later..." she muttered. She then looked back up to Venextos. "Mind givin' a lady some privacy? I'd be obliged to ya." she said, with a smile and wink.

"See you at the lunch banquet then." the wizard replied with his own smile and made his departure back to where most of the group were.

Wesley steps out of his Cabin after reorganizing his things and sharpening his blade. he slides it open, revealing the glimmering metal of the blade before heading off, eventually making his way to the Bar. from there, he sees Jakob and some of his companions having a great time. except for Loque, who seems to be passed out drunk. He walks over to where Jakob is sitting and sits in an unoccupied chair beside the man.

"Took some time maintaining my Blade, the blacksmiths in Shoiya are very detailed with their blades. you can almost call them art from the engravings alone. but, any how. Seems you're having a great time, Jakob."

Jakob was tipsy at the moment. It was hard to notice as there was no impediment on his movement or reactions, but the man felt he was now more cheerful than he was before, almost as if he had completely forgotten the serious conversation he just had with Hudson. Right after downing the second bottle of whiskey, Wesley had joined him. "WESLEY! my boy!" He gregariously wrapped his arm around Wesleys shoulder. "Finally out of the cabin I see! You need to talk more son, you beginning to look as gloomy as these other ghouls in the train!" He then looked at Wesix, sliding the empty bottle of whiskey over the unharmed areas of the counter towards him. "Hey loverboy, get my man Wesley your best bloody wine and get me another bottle of Whiskey." He let out a chuckle. "'Cuz I'm tired of seeing gloomy faces, I ain't eating lunch with these bundles of joy unless I'm properly drunk."

Wesix promptly fetched their respective drinks, giving Wesley a special blood wine due to his particular attributes. It wasn't long afterwards that the group could smell food being cooked nearby in the kitchen. Wesix glanced over to Loque, and noticed she was still out. He sighed, before reaching over and gently placing a finger on her head. Soft pink light gleamed from his fingertip for a moment, and then he pulled it away once it died back out.

Wesley felt a bit nervous when the drunken Jakob wrapped his arm around his shoulder. "Oh uh, s-sure. I could drink for a while, its been a long since I got to drink something alcoholic for once" Wesix finally gave them their drinks, Wesley inspected the bottle for a bit, noting the fine design of the bottle. and before long he poured the contents onto a glass. "Welp, down the hatch." he drank some of the red mix before stopping. "Hey... this ain't quite bad. Wouldn't hurt to drink some more." he drank again and finished the entire glass in one go. "This is great!"

"That's your highlander spirit boy!" Jakob laughed out loud before taking a few shots from his whiskey. "Lets drink until we forget we are in the Abyss, Wesley! You and I, boy... we are going to save Valeria! We are going do it no matter what happens! If this group fails, you and I continue pushing! Right?" He asked gregariously. But behind his joyous tone was a serious question, Jakob and Wesey came to save Valeria first, anything else related to Taurim's plans mattered little to Jakob.

Loque's body spasms a little as she comes back to consciousness, though groggy as hell due to the large amounts of hard alcohol she consumed still taking it's toll on her overall mood. She stands up, or at least tries to as she stumbles out of the chair and onto her feet, only to end up hitting the wall just to keep her balance together.

"Grrrghh... merde..." she grunts out as she rubs her face. Just then however, something starts bubbling within her stomach. At first it feels like she swallowed a swarm of flies, flies of which turned into burning rocks very quickly. "Gods, I don't... I don't..." Her words start to choke her as the sensation grows more painful and uncomfortable. Holding her stomach nervously, she walks out of dining area and back to the bathrooms of the cabin area groaning in pain.

If anyone was in the vicinity and had good ears, the sounds of someone violently expelling the contents of their stomach would reach them, as well as the aching moans in between.

The hunter had himself his rations in the privacy of his room, the salted meat and crackers simply filling and not much else. As he put away his utensils he heard Loque sprint down the hall and begin gagging in the bathroom. The sound was just faint enough it could be ignored but given Hudson's mood most anythinf would get to him. Grumbling, he allowed it to persist for a minute or so before he shot up from his seat and walked on over to the bathroom.

Using the back of his fist he banged on the door loudly. "Shut the fuck up! I am trying to rest." he shouted, turning back to his room in a huff.

Wesix watched Loque stand up and leave the room, before glancing to Henderson. "That was almost you." he remarked. Eventually, someone new arrived in the dining hall. A female, blue skinned demon with black horns. She was dressed now in a white shirt, that Venextos recognized as the same one she had on before, with blue jeans and dark brown cowboy boots. She glanced to those at the bar, raising an eyebrow. "Y'all drinkin' kinda early, ain't cha?" she said, as she walked by.

"Right! We're going to get Miss Witlock out! I owe it to her that I met you and the others in the first place and with that, we should return the favor!" With that, Wesley pours more of the blood wine into his glass and drinks the delightful substance. "I wish we could find the others after this, I wonder what happened to Galina, Rossanna and the other bunch. I hope they're doing alright.."

"We'll find 'em all, we'll do that and then drink on Mariette's name, bless her!" But just ask Jakob was about to take another sip of his drink, a woman with a southern atracan accent walked into the bar. Jakob was surprised to see it was a demon. The noted the fact they were drinking this early. "Yup! But when ya' learn one of your friends suffered and be reminded of your constant failures, you gonna drink to forget no matter what time of day!" He eyed the womans attire and then asked. "You from the south by any chance? I'm from Redgorge."

The woman paused, glancing back to Jakob. "Really? How 'bout that. I'm from Red Gorge too!" she said, with a toothy grin. "Well, the area around Red Gorge, really. Reckon its all part of the town now." She shrugged. "Jackson's Saloon still there? I was a workin' girl there for a while before I got lynched."

Loque responds back to Hudson just as angrily, but a bit messier too. "DAMN YOU I'M TRYI- *HIC* I'M TRYING-" Fortunately for everyone though, she seems to stop a bit earlier than she herself expected, however she still feels like total shit even after purging all the excessive liquor in her system. Maybe, if the resident incubus helped her out of her alcohol induced coma, he might know another trick to make her feel better. She returns to the bar area, looking just as disheveled and sickened as she did moments earlier. Senya was still there, and underneath her hair she scowls at her angrily for not helping her friend. "You know, you could've stopped me-" The mask. She left it on the counter along with her jacket and forgot to put it back on before she passed out, but someone had gotten to it first! She rubs her eyes repeatedly just to make sure she's not seeing anything from all the booze, but it's real alright. The streaks of black ink on it reflect her furious expression as she holds it in her hands. It's been vandalized with that 'fucking Redonian chicken scratch alphabet' scrawled all over it, and a stupid looking mustache and eyebrow combination too.

"What the fuck... what the fuck!?" The words almost stay in her throat, almost kept there by sheer anger alone at this outrage.

"Hmm? Oh hello." Wesley waved at the demon before them he then heard that she was from Red Gorge. "Huh, Small world. I'm from the Atracan Highlands myself but I've known Jakob here since our time in Grimtham Isle. I'm Wesley Wilch by the way, Nice to meet you."

Inari could barely contain her snickering as Loque hurried out, sick from drinking, but naturally unaware of the markings on her mask. A fun trick from the good old days.... The thought sobered her up slightly before she rolled her shoulders to stretch a bit, pushing the thought immediately aside and returning to the bar to finish up her still warm tea. The newcomer demon caught her eye and she looked the woman over, Jakob pointing out what her strange accent was. It was a little difficult to follow. But on one hand... it did sound pretty familiar. It took her a moment to pinpoint it - Winchester. He had that same cadence and manner of speaking. She must be from the same place he was.

She couldn't help but raise a brow at Jakob's dreary words to the demon woman. That was hardly an introduction. Then again, he had been hanging out with Hudson, so that shouldn't be a surprise. Not that the demon seemed to mind - in fact, she sounded pretty friendly.

"Wesix-san! More tea, please!" She slammed the cup back down as if it was a sake glass when she saw Loque enter the room again. Inari started to giggle more as the woman discovered her mask, with a few additions to it.
