"Ya, that's what I thought." Conner growled to himself, continuing his search in a different direction. Occasionally, when he reached a suspicious looking bush, he would hack at it with his katana.

Quickly, the beast dropped down behind conner, and growled "idiot, I thought you were the brains of the group"

Conner quickly whirled around to face the creature, sword pointed in it's direction. "Why thank you." Conner said before striking out at it, aiming for a diagonal strike across the shoulder.
