Fandom Hunger Games

Tears started forming in Olivia's eyes, No don't cry. Be strong. Don't cry. She have a small smile and looked down on at her hands, "He would tell me to be like Lucas, his red power ranger, and if I need help to just call for superman and he'll come to my rescue." A small tear ran down her cheek as a tiny laugh escaped her as she remembered her beloved kid.

Time was up, and Cesar knew it. "It's been a pleasure talking to you. I know you will be strong, for your son. Max will be with you in heart." He stood up and did something he almost never did. As he helped Olivia out of her chair, he embraced her in a hug. It only lasted for a few seconds, but he felt the message travel between them.

Olivia hugged Cesar back. The smile returned to her face although it was obvious she was forcing it to keep her image. She wasn't really in the mood to smile, but if it would win over people, she would do it. She waved goodbye and walked off the stage. As soon as the hot stage lights were out of her face, Olivia began to cry out of frustration for being here, desperation for wanting this to be over already, and desolation for knowing there was no was she could come out of this alive.

"And now the male tribute from district 1, Jason Moore!" Cesar shouted. The crowed went wild as it always does for the career tributes.

Jason walked out on the stage, confident, and actually a little cocky, he had this interview in the bag. One of the courses he had to take in preparation for being a volunteer was in fact, and interview, he knew that whatever he said would turn to gold, however, he already had a plan... and it involved that little spitfire, Olivia. He walked over to Cesar, and extended his hand to shake Cesar's. If they loved Olivia as much as I think they did, then I'm about to get major sponsors.

They both sat down in their designated seats and Cesar said "You seem pretty confident. I can see why too. So, I heard a little secret and only you to confirm it. Is it true that you have a crush on Olivia?" He separated Olivia's name so each silable stood out.

"Crush?" Jason smiled a sincere smile, "well.. it's a little more than a crush. See. when she told me about her son, and how all she wanted to do was get back to him, my heart melted," He begins to form a tear, totally fake, of course, but no one but him would know that, "I made a promise to her. I am going to keep her safe, and then when the time comes, I will let her win. She needs to be a victor more than I do," His face was serious now, "and I intend to make it happen"

"So touching, so touching!" He said emphasizing the second time. "This is a true love story. Something for the history books indeed. You are willing to give your life for a girl you barely know! I guess you should enjoy the Capitol while you can. Such a wonderful place. What is your favorite part?"

"Well, Cesar, I love the food, but what I love most are the people!" Jason said, lowering his guard a bit, now he was being honest, "The people I have met here are more.. cultured than any other person, in any of the districts. If I had had a choice as to where I had been born, I would have chosen the Capitol, even though it would have taken my opportunity to volunteer." Jason laughed a bit at the irony of that statement

"Well, wouldn't anyone?" He then chuckled a little. "Before you go, is there anything you wish to say to your family back in 1? This my very well be your last chance." Th crowd began to protest, but Cesar calmed them down reminding them of how Jason was going to heroically save Olivia instead of himself.

"Mom.. keep on fighting that cancer, I know you'll get through it! And Johnny, I need you to be the man of the house now... don't let little Jess get hurt by any big nasty men... " He began to shed another fake tear, of course, none of the things he was saying to his family were real.. he had shed the need for family when he began training... but he knew the crowd would eat that up.

Cesar patted Jason on the back and said "That's all the time we have, but it's been good. Fight for Olivia and you will still win in her heart, I just know it!" He watched as Jason walked off the stage and then started to prep for the next tribute.

(I'm done for the night. I'll continue tomorrow.)

"And now, Carman Yun from district 3!" The crowed cheered like it usually did as Carman entered the stage.

Being the youngest of them, Carmen dressed in light colors and placed a sweet smile on her face. She planned on winning the capitol with her innocence and youth. If she could get them to feel bad enough for her maybe she could get them on her side. It's just an act. For them it's a tv show. Play your role right

Carmen hopped on stage and sprinted over to Cesar giving his a warm child-like hug. She have him the most innocent smile ever and sat down next to him. She increased the pitch in her voice by a few octaves in order to play her child role.

"Awe, how sweet" Cesar said. "I just want to take you home and spoil you rotten! It's too bad I can't. But if I did, what would you be looking forward to the most?"

Carmen placed a finger on her mouth and widened her eyes as if she was pondering his question. Think child. Think little, what do little kids want. A shinning smile spread across her face and her eyes began to glow with joy. She looked at Cesar and motioned for him to come closer as if to tell him a secret. She cupped her hands around his ear and whispered, "Chocolate."

"Chocolate?" Cesar said in a voice barely loud enough for the Capitol to hear as to keep the sense that it was still a secret. Don't you have plenty of chocolate in district 3?"

Carmen frowned a bit. She looked down at her dress with sadness in her eyes, "We do, but I might never get to eat chocolate again." Carmen hated chocolate of course. It was to sweet and filled with carbs that would only add weight to her and slow her down, but who wouldn't pitty a small child that all she wants is to be able to have another piece of chocolate. You can't deny a child a small simplicity such as chocolate, now can you?

"I'll make sure you get your chocolate later after the interviews are done, ok?" Cesar put on his signature smile and continued. "What is your favorite thing about district 3? If always found it fascinating!"

Carmen smiled and jumped up and down on her seat thanking Cesar for being so nice and kind. When he continued to the next question she cursed in her head, Why can't you ask me easy questions? I need to appear childlike and you give me mature questions, come on Cesar!

Carmen's face softened and she looked at the crowd, "Well Cesar, my favorite thing about district 3 is the lovely family I have waiting for me back home. They mean the world to me and even if I don't make it out alive, I can die knowing that I am loved by amazing people."

The crowed responded with a resounding "Aww". Cesar made a few unimportant comments and finally said "I don't think anyone could force themselves to kill you! Your just too sweet and adorable! I assume you already have a team, don't you?"

Again with your hard questions. Are you trying to make me look bad? Carmen looked around nervously, "Well I have made a few friends, but I'm sad that we wont get to be friends for long. I wont get to invite him for tea or to my birthday party when I turn 14." Carmen looked back at the direction that she came from as if looking for her 'friend'. "If only he knew how much his friendship means to me. Even if we've only known each other for a few, I feel like we've been best friends since forever!"

"Looks like our time is up. I'm looking forward to seeing who you teamed up with. Ladies and gentlemen, Carmen Yun form district 3!" The crowed erupted as Carmen left the stage.

Carmen smiled and skipped off the stage. As soon as she was out she rolled her eyes and went back to her room. Pathetic. That was all pathetic. It seemed like he was attacking me and didn't want me to get any sponsors. UGH! I hate him.

"And now the male tribute from district 2, Alex Maldok!" Cesar shouted.

Alex confidentially strutted on stage and sat in his chair after shaking hands with Cesar. He was in a diamond studded suit. He was neatly trimmed and he sat straight like he was in a military training camp.

"Why so strict?" Cesar teased. "Relax a little. This is one of your last chances."

He smiled a little. "I can't go soft this close to the games now can I?" However, he did relax a little knowing that's what the audience would want.

"How right you are" Cesar chuckled. "So, do you think your districts job of masonry helped to prepare you for the games?"

"I think so" he said. "Wouldn't you agree?" He asked the crowed with a dashing smile and flexing his muscles. Everyone erupted, especially the girls.

"Wow!" Cesar exclaimed. "I could never even dream of being that strong! That will definitely help in the arena. What else do you think will help?"

"Well, I am what's known as a sociopath" He bluntly stated. The crowed drew in a breath, but he doubted many of them even knew the most basic things about sociopaths.

"What does that mean?" Cesar asked with curiosity.

"That means I can't feel remorse. In turn, I am extremely logical and a killing machine. Though, I can't imagine wanting to kill any of you." He said to the crowed.

"That's impressive! To bad were out of time. Alex Maldok from district 2!"

He walked sideways off the stage trying to invite the audience into his favor.
"We have seen Leo of district 4, now we meat the female tribute Eva Kano!"
