Does anyone know what season or month we're gaming in. I don't see a mention of it, but that could be just because I am terrible at finding details. Lol
 
Posted. Not the best. But can tell you all Harper is not happy with you Athena agents right now. She doesn't want to be recognized and is a little hot and angry.
 
Nice! Hey, how well known is the hive to Athena? I know it relatively new. Would your average agent know about it? I haven't read all the back story...
 
Okay! Got the introductory post out of the way, and now my lead-in post is up.

Gordon is gonna be a real turning point for Athena methinks, heh.

Big posts are good btw! The bigger the read, the better imo.
 
Ooooh Harper does not like him. Nope nope nope. She's not liking the situation all together with the three agents. But me personally, I'm loving all the characters!
 
Don't worry, there's no judgement on quality of work. I know we all have our days where we're just not feeling that groove.

Awesome interjection, and that will be so much better than what I was going to do. Either way, Harper's identity wouldn't have been exposed. I'd never without getting a go-ahead first.

However, and if you don't like this idea then don't be afraid to tell me, Boomer's interest check post said something about all supernaturals being registered, right? Well, would that mirage spell morph her face into an 'unregistered' identity? I think the app would alert him to an unregistered preternatural. Of course, if that's not cool with you guys, then I could also just have it come back with an error message and make Gordie brush it off as a failure of modern technology. What do you think?

No, I thought it was fantastically done. Honestly, with your character's adrenalin spiked they are bound to notice things almost in slow-motion. Totally logical that you could have noticed it and pieced together what was about to happen before it did. Besides, time how long it takes to pull out a cell from your pocket, open the phone, start-up the camera, and take a picture. It makes sense. I promise.
 
I'll be working on a reply in a bit but if anyone wants to go before me go ahead. I need to get cleaned up. And I agree with the move. Trust me, I would be the first to call out "over stepping" if I thought a character was indeed doing something that was too convenient or too powerful in a post. I try not to do that too much since, like I've said before, I like things happening naturally. But if I thought that was a tad OP I would have said something.

So far everyone has been doing great with being balanced with their characters and the communication in here helps a ton too, or at least I like to think it does.

Might make sense to have it be a manual process. Could be all the app does is send a picture back to HQ for some pencil pusher to match to a known supernatural, which would make for a turnaround time so that he didn't know instantly, and added a bit of uncertainty to the result.

Also, even if it did do an instant search, unregistered supernaturals are probably not uncommon, at least not when you only have a picture. I doubt Athena is going around taking mugshots of every supernatural in existence (That seems like it'd be a pretty unpopular government action). Although I suppose it'd be odd when he thinks he recognizes her.

Also, mainly waiting for a response from Casey, then I'm good with trying for a timeskip to let everyone rest.
