... omg... I just realized what a complete spaz I am. xD okay... so like... I don't want to join RPs that are just starting because I don't want to get a character in and start getting involved and then the whole thing falls apart. I want to join one that is already going because then I figure there's a better chance that it'll stick around (like this one). So what do I do? I only go look at the interest checks because in my head I go, "I want to get in on the ground floor," I don't check ones already in progress because, "I don't want to have to figure out where the plot is and get my character involved in an already in progress story." xD see what I mean?

I guess after so many RP groups shutting down on you, it's kind of a no wonder that you would feel that way. XD

I'd say it was madness, but it has been going since 2015. xD but still... wow. I somehow don't think I could get into any high school RPs. I mean, I have characters that could fit those situations, like a brother and sister pair that I adore, but I don't know... I put a lot of detail into them so I somehow think it wouldn't work in any of the RPs on this site. xD

It's pretty hard to find a good one that doesn't have a stereo-typical character troupes in high school RPs.

You know in the movies that has a high school setting there's the popular kid, the emo, the rebel, the smart one, etc. etc. ? I mean that but with telanovela tendencies 10x over with the drama. XP
Just saying that it's really hard to RP in one. Too many bad experiences with them. DX

Uuuuuurgh... so I have begun just looking at character sheets and seeing if any characters seem interesting and so far nothing has caught my eye. >o< then there is the ceaseless annoyingness of all the excessive labeling for genders and sexuality that it just drives me mad, what does any of that matter? Can't we find out during play? wtf? I find that kind of stuff being put into character sheets to be a total turn off when I am looking for an RP.

Some are funny though. Like once, since I went to a catholic school, we had a mass on ash wed. and I decided to be a joker. I went up to the priest like every other student to have the ash cross on my forehead and then started screaming 'Ah! it burns!'
Father Larry told me to stop being a smartass and go back to my seat. XD

lol yeah, I've seen those, they are equally as obnoxious. I mean... can't they just implement that in character? Like the characters actually have to learn what the other prefers to be called?
