I just have to figure out how to actually word his history. xD that's my biggest problem as a writer. I don't see words in my head, like... everything I write is a picture in my head and translating those pictures to an actual informational segment of writing is hard for me sometimes. lol Like... this guy, the realm he is from is the wind based one so it's in the mountains and stuff. So I can see him as like... a kid or youth free-climbing on the peaks and just standing on top of them feeling the wind. I can see him watching the Gryphon Rider sentinels patrolling and when he spots his brother on his gryphon flinging rocks with his sling to mess with him. I can see how he walks and treats others and his general attitude... but I can't write all this out so that it makes sense. xD Katsuya

Why not proofread what you just wrote and write it down somewhere. Ask your hubby and see if he understood. If he doesn't then ask for some advice or why he didn't get it.

Well I mean, that was just... a descriptive of what the character is like, not really an indepth history of him. xD oh man, if only I had stuck with drawing. D: I used to draw all the time, even though I would get so annoyed when I couldn't draw what I see in my head. Like I will NEVER understand that. Seeing something a certain way in my head and despite having the knowledge of what it looks like my hand just not being talented enough to translate it to paper. xD Katsuya

I know. D: but I had to kill the parents so I said they got killed by a dragon, you know trying to protect the baby and when he found the nest while he was climbing, he took the baby because he knew it wouldn't survive since it hadn't even gotten all of its feathers yet. Katsuya

Roleplay Skittle , are you still having difficulty writing gryphon man's history? When I have trouble writing in sequence for a CS I do what Katsuya said and write everything down. Then I try to see it like a movie sequence or a movie commercial with it's emotional sequence of drama and then end it with a question about the hero's main challenge, or a sentence about their life now and what they're doing.

Nah, I'm good. xD I got to where I was describing his antics with the orphaned gryphon he found (named it Aethris) after it had grown enough for him to ride it. He was basically still being a jerk, but now instead of just slinging rocks at his brother, he'd hide in the lower peaks with his gryphon and ambush him from below. His dad gave him an ultimatum, basically to join the gryphon riders or get the heck out of town. Zer0
