Fantasy Howl's Flying Castle - OOC

No! I never heard of that one! What?! XD Please tell me, this sounds very funny and interesting.
This is the link: Podcast: Become an Ancient Greek Hero | The Art of Manliness

I haven't read the entire story, but they were like one of the rag tag militia groups (historians, old people, teachers), not even soldiers, that were placed behind enemy lines to disrupt the nazis, and against all odds it worked.

The podcast went on to say it's because of the greek philosophy embedded in their culture. And that was strength, skill, and compassion.

Like to them, manliness was about being helpful and so these three grew up already strong, like being able to carry a child, being able to run, and what's more the topography of crete is such that shepherds move up and down the mountains like goats. Like one of them who was on a starvation diet hiked avoiding the trail to deliver a message 50 miles away, had a shot of moonshine, and then left to hike back.

They also encouraged one another and they had this diet that was mostly fat and whatever they could forage. One of them boiled hay 7 times and then drank the water to survive.

Oh snap, crackle, and pop! That sounds very familiar....XD It sounds like everyone in HFC, being ragtag group of teens trying to fight back against evil dragons. XD I'm definitely going to read that.
