Makes sense. XD Once again this couple is doing something that others have not done at all. Maybe he gave birth in the water since it'll be easier to have the egg float? Or is he gonna be mammal about it and stay for a whole nine months as a dragon?

I have no idea, but I'm down with a new species.

Egg or not to egg. Think if it was an egg, Kenren would snuggle with it? I know Chenglei will be borderline over-protective. Maybe make a nest like a dragon would.

Then again we did just put seahorse papa tendencies in this man. XD Okay, the seahorse part is just Chenglei being able to give birth, but then he can lay the egg? When the baby hatches, she would have dragon scales but still look human??

Oooh, what if her scales were armor-ish designed like this? And in the future people will find out that these are like birth marks, like people say the birthmark at the center is like a crown, that they descended from royalty, and their birthmark also shows their personality? Or like they can use it to know if someone is happy? Katsuya Like they have the power to tell if the people who are important to them are happy?

It's interesting! Armor-like plating instead of a usual snake-like plating. Hmm. I do like the birthmark idea, having it in the center is like a crown. And it is an interesting trait to have too. Being able to sense when someone important to them is happy. It's because of her parents' bond, isn't it? Since Chenglei and Kenren can sense each other's happiness through their soul-link too.

Goodness, this is reminding me of one of the recent Fire Emblem games. They have a dragon-borne human person too though he doesn't have any physical dragon traits showing. XD

Those are dads for you. It's psychology. The ones that are going through it will be the ones who stay calm while the ones who don't go through it will be anxious since they don't know exactly what their partners are going through.

XD So then...wouldn't it make more sense to have Chenglei half and half if it's a human-sized baby? Like the potion accident got him to be stuck in the middle of his dragon and human forms and he finds out about the special life within? Or something like that??
