, this is James five years after the war. Oh, and Seifer proposed to Renee but they haven't told anyone they're getting married except for James. And Renee asked him to walk her down the aisle. And during that timeline, mentioned this:
1st roll: Photography
- 4-5 = His enjoying traveling around with Lydia from time to time, when he goes out on excavations and explorations with a museum group where his photos and researches are being shown. He's still a beginner and not earning as much, but he's happy. He's always loved identifying animals.
2nd roll: Order
- 8-9 = The Order rivals Dalaran and their little place has become something like a village or a small town with all the people there working together for the greater good. They are the defenders of the world, highly recognized by the countries and are called upon almost daily to fight evil.
"Remember my letter two weeks ago about me and Lydia visiting the pyramids in the Sonoran Desert and seeing all the mummies there, Renee?" said James taking a seat and drinking from a cup. "Well, a museum coworker of mine who stayed in the excavation site, told me about a dog that's been around the site that me and Lydia just didn't notice and guess what? Lydia isn't allergic to it, so we adopted it!" he said happily. "We don't have a name for it though, but it's so friendly. I don't know what breed it is, it's apparently a mix and it's this short scruffy brown dog with white patches."
James began talking about how he's enjoying backpacking around the ruins of Midgard with Lydia from time to time, sometimes Johnny comes along, and so does Thomas, and Seth who invites Serena too. The museum he works in currently has an excavation in the Sonoran where they're digging up some buried ancient tombs, and his part in it is research on scarabs, ancient burial rites, and how they preserved the dead. He was working on his presentation that he was to make in front of the panel of researchers in the museum, and then display it for the public to see once it gets approved. He had brought the pictures of the place along, including a picture of his and Lydia's new dog. There was one of the couple, sun-tanned and smiling, and behind them was the entrance to one of the pyramids.

"Juggling two jobs is hard." said James, who's passion has been put on the back burner for a while, since he chose to put his research on souls and protecting Midgard first. "I have a meeting with Queen Mia, Sen, and the King of the Jahara Empire this weekend. We finally dismantled the crime network of that syndicate Seifer's father had a bad deal with, but our evidence is still lacking to put the head boss under death row, but Seth is working on it, he went in undercover to dig up some real dirt and he told us there is some promise on a certain murder that happened a month ago. He thinks the head boss has something to do with it. We'll find out this weekend."
I don't think so. I mean I have seen fathers and brothers walk the bride down the lane before... *I watch too many wedding shows*
Hmm...then again Renee isn't a normal person. I really doubt she cares about wedding traditions too...or didn't think about why only dads does that.
