Fantasy Hotel California

The girl threatened him once more. She looked like she was in for a fight. Walter was just too tired for this. He had killed both his partner and a cop today by accident, he wasn't feeling like hurting anybody else. The images on his mind were already giving him nightmares, and now this. What did she want? A guy walks in, she threatens him and expects him to be okay? He turned around back to her. "What the hell is wrong with you? The hell did I do? Go get some sleep, or just don't bug me. You're the not only one having a bad day". The door opened on the second floor. Weird, nobody pushed the button. One more floor to go.

Ari huffed. "Sorry general parent, but I don't take orders." Ari said. "I got two rules. Don't push my buttons, and don't get in my way." Ari threatened. Even though she was on the 8th floor, when the elevator stopped at the third she walked out and towards the stairs. She flung open the door, causing it to hit the wall with a loud bang. She then proceeded to stalk up the stairs.

Eliza had gotten her room key soon after the large loud group had left. They certainly were... well.. exuberant. She was wracking her brain to find a good way to describe them. After grabbing her key, she tried to use the elevator, only to find it full and heading to a high floor. Not wanting to wait that long, she had taken the stairs.

"I seriously need to pack lighter," she moaned as she dragged her suitcase up three flights of stairs. She was already exhausted, she did not need this torture. Eventually, she made it to her door and set her luggage down on the ground as she fished her key out of one of her pockets. Her fingers brushed the key just as a 'ding' sounded at the end of the hallway. "Of course," Eliza grumbled. Life was stupid, as were stairs. As she fitted the key in the lock, the doors to the elevator opened and a very irritated girl stormed out of the box. Eliza ducked into her door and dragged her luggage in just as she passed.

"Sheesh, people here." Eliza sighed. "Wow, this place is so huge. Ooo, a tv!" She grinned and ran over to inspect it. She was overjoyed to find a dvd player already hooked up and ready to go. In a few moments, she had fixed herself a cup of hot tea and popped in the first season of Star Trek, the Original Series. Yup, no studying was going to happen for quite a while.

He walked out when the elevator stopped at the third floor, and the girl did it as well, huffing out in rage. After that, Walter wanted to shoot someone. That was the exact reason as to why he hated people. They would just go crazy out of nowhere. Soon he would be having to be part of some sort of anger management group. He walked towards his room. 211. He opened the door and placed the extra "don't disturb" sign over the numbers written on it. He locked the door quickly behind him. Turning back to the room, he took a good look at it. It was huge. Holy damn, too big for being free. He remembered a movie that he watched where people got trapped at a hotel and the owner would cook them and serve it to the other guests. Stupid horror movie. He walked towards the bed and laid on it, closing his eyes and letting his mind go blank.

"Sprinter huh... we oughta race sometime..." Dante said

As she dipped in the pool, Dante turned around, stretched his arms out behind himself on the edge, exposing his arm and shoulder muscles. He watched eher slick back her beautiful red hair hair. "Niice." She had full lips, and her bikini fitted her nicely. Dante appreciated beauty, whcih is why he started working on himself in high school, and time when he was chubby. The reaction from everyone his senior made his self confidence blow through the roof, where he was already a pretty popular guy. He was no longer the funny kid. He was the HOT kid with humor.

"So... where you from?" He asked rolling his neck slightly

"A race might be fun" She says with a grin as she turns her attention back towards him, picking up her glass again. "I'm from the eastern shore of Maryland. I've been driving nearly straight through for the past couple days. I figured this place would be the perfect rest stop. Though I don't really know where my end destination is. I just figured a road trip on my own would give me some time to think. A lot of time to think. But I'm rambling on when you only asked a simple question. How about you? Where do you call home?" She asks, it was nice to actually have a conversation with someone that wasn't along the lines of getting direction.

"For the past 4 years my home has been in colorado since i went to school there. But now im on break for 2 months before my assignment. I drove here by myself too. My friends and family think Im crazy but after so many years of being around people, I feel like ill absorb everything by myself. I feel Ive lost myself spiritually and hope a cross country trip from here to my hometown, Miami, will somehow lead me.... Ive got the cash so i dont mind... i also wanna use this time to have as much fun as possible without anyone nagging about my code of honor... bleh" He smiled.

"Oh Im in the air force by the way. Im a 2nd lt..." He shrugged. "So im a scruuuub." He chuckled.

He found himself more interested in her. She traveled all te way from maryland her self. Wow. She can hold her own... she was like him... not quite there in life yet... but not afriad to go at it alone

She laughs as well. "I don't even think I have a set code of honor. I have good morals and a decent amount of common sense so it gets me through life pretty unscathed and I feel that's all one needs, or at least all I need for the time being. But I suppose being the air force you get to travel a lot? I've never left the east coast before now..." She wrings her hair out a bit, looking over at him. He pleasantly surprised her, she was expecting some air headed "muscle-head" so to speak, but he actually had some depth to him. "But I'm glad I did. I've been having a pretty good time so far" She takes another swig of her drink, licking her lips at the weird taste of vodka and chlorine from the pool.

Dante observed her drinking manner poolside and smiled inside a bit. As for the morals, he's always been prone to liking shady things. He sold drugs on the side whenever he had free time... in denver of course (oh that makes it better). He chilled out with a couple gangs. He had a knack for violence and sketchy things. He's been that way since middle school. Call of duty and GTA might have had something to do with it. Anyways he planned on joining the Special Forces when he returned, during his assignment. Till then he was going to go all out. He wa going to be as wild as possible while continuing to train. After he burned out then hed be ready. He hoped.

He was happy with her depth as well, but she looked mature to him either. He was really glad he caught her glance in the lobby now. Plus she seemed to have her stuff straight and was really laid back. Something he may have needed right now.

"Ive traveled most of south america and europe. I know spanish and arabic after being sent there for two months. This is the farthest ive been west too." Dante looked at the sky a moment. "Yeah... im having a good time too... you and i got a bit in common ya know."

"I've always liked the spanish language. I took a class in high school but it never stuck." She looks up at the sky as well. "It would seem that we do. And here I thought I'd be wandering around here like a ghost. I'm more social than I thought" She lets out a small chuckle. Though he was easy to talk to it seemed. She closes her eyes for a moment as a warm breeze made it's way through. It was a perfect night and she was glad she decided to sit out rather than stay cooped up in her room. "I think I'd like to travel Europe one day too. Just to say I've done it" She looks down at her glass and frowns at seeing it was getting low. She gets up to her feet before looking back at him. "Up for that glass yet?" She asks as she tops herself off.

"Lets meet on the roof in 90 minutes. Ill bring some of my drink too. Ive got mamajuana. Ever had that?" He asked. He hoped shed say yes. He was really hooked on her now. He couldn't show that of course. "Then we can talk about europe."

Kira shakes her head. "No I haven't" She bites her lip, thinking it over about meeting him before nodding. "Alright I'll see you there in 90 then. I think I'm gonna head up and wash this chlorine out of my hair." She wraps her towel around her before taking a hold of the rest of the things she brought down.

"Till tonight then." He winked. He'd get there first and set up some candles. Snatch some desserts and fruit for them. A couple nuts for him.

Dante was glad she agreed to meeting him later that night. By then itd be about 9:30. He'd have time to swim, so some light excercise, shower, and eat. There was no need to rush. Although it was tempting at this age, he learned that lesson from all his friends who were in jail right now. Its a wonder he even made it this path. It was a struggle for his parents... hes really happy they did that. He promised after this last hoorah hed stop being so crazy. He'd make bank after he got out of the military. Maybe become a lawyer or join politics... or even teach history at university. He had so many options... something many did not have in the hard times of this country. He wondered what kirawas upt o. If shes going to school If her parents gave her the cash to go cross country.

He also wondered what the hell is up with this hotel. He ahd a luxury suite and it was free. What the hell? Whatever. He had a unofficial date tonight. So he was happy as a horse in montana.... How the hell did i make that one up?

Dante watched the red headed fire angel strut out of the pool area. Niiice. He turned around began his workout out

Celeste

Why am I all alone when I could have anyone I wanted in here? Surely someone would love to join me here...

She considered going down to the lobby and finding someone to talk to; Though she really didn't want to move. Perhaps she could call the manager, tell him Celeste wants company and break out the old gold name-plate for her door.

Or, Celeste thought, I could go out and find people on my own.

Nope. Too much work - And why should she leave the comfort of her room for someone? Finally deciding on something to do, Celeste took a dark blue bikini from her closet, stripped down, then put it on - She grabbed a towel and the name-plate for her door and walked to her room's door. She opened it and stuck the plate on the outside, then shut it, and walked to the back of her room past the dividers - A large hot tub took up the majority of the room, though a shower waited in one of the room's corners. Celeste slipped into the hot tub and rested her arms on the rim of the tub; She let out a sigh of relaxation.

Now, to wait for someone to come in and join me. If no one comes in, maybe I'll just go up to the roof and see how things are going there...

(Sorry for the late intro post - I wasn't expecting things to move so fast!)

Sawyer Celen

Sawyer entered the room with awe on his face. The room was magnificent! The bed was MASSIVE as was the view from the fifth floor. For a moment, he reached at his bag to get out his sketchbook but then realized he left it with Kieran. "I almost regret that I did that." Sliding off his shoes by the window, he leaped into the bed and spread out his arms. "Oh wow that is comfy." His words lazed out. The bed was so soft, it would make anyone wonder how in the world it was free. He was about to close his eyes but quickly shot up instead. This place was way to great to waste time snoozing. "I think it's about time I hit the water." Sawyer lifted himself from the bed and pulled up his other piece of luggage containing his clothes. Rummaging through, he finally pulled out his blue patterned speedo. Unwrapping the scarf around his neck, he through off his clothes and quickly substituted for the form fitting swimwear. Sawyer wasn't very muscular but he was pleasantly slender. His skin shone with a slight tan he gained from walking in the Californian sun. He was quite confident about the way he looked as the number of people he's been with would agree. Sliding his toes in a pair of blue sandals, he swung a towel onto his shoulder and made his way out the door. The public pool was down on ground level but he was positive there were other amenities scattered around the place. He was itching to see the roof and what was held up there. As he walked a bit, he came across a room with a gold name plate. I wonder what that's about. Sawyer was very intrigued and decided with a why not? He knocked on the door and eagerly awaited an answer.

@suzumiya42

After finishing his laps for about 30 minutea dante jumped out of the pool and began doing pushups and situps. He then began stretching... wait dont they have a a Sauna.. and hot tub? He shrugged and decided to head over there. On the way he saw sawyer in front of the name plated door. "Hey man!" He patted his back in eagerness. "What you up to? And whos celeste?" He asked.

Sawyer Celen

Sawyer heard the foot steps coming and looked to see who it was. Seeing Dante, he smiled just as eagerly. "Heyyy!" He announced back heartily. "I was just on my way to find some water to relax in, and then I found this place." With a quick scratch on the side of his face, he folder his arms and looked back at the door. "I assume Celeste is a person in there. None of the other doors have gold name plates so she must be something." Honestly, he was enjoying the idea of meeting someone important. The "Celeste" in question was someone who needed a gold name plate and that really excited him. "What's up with you? I saw you left kinda quickly back there."

Kieran's eyes widened at the sketchbook. He flipped through the pages at a rather quick pace before he sighed.

"There's nothing" he murmured looking at the coloured drawings. To others it would be pretty and it would amaze them, to him it just reminded him of what he feared the most. Oblivion, it had no emotion.

"How... boring" he murmured before he stood up. He bit his lower lip before looking around. 439 huh. He'd have to give it back some time soon.

@mauvexkitteh

He walked around towards the pool, for a while he even contemplated on just jumping in the pool with his clothes on but that would be troubling. He'd probably get in trouble like the last time. Though that wasn't his fault exactly. Some guy decided it was funny to push him in the pool upon thinking he was girly looking from behind.

"Time to write an epic tale of nothing!" He spoke kind of cheerily. It was enough to creep out people who thought he couldn't even feel emotion.

Kira spends a good half hour unpacking, usually she would use a luggage rack and pretty much live out of her suitcase. She was only planning on staying a couple days originally, just rest up and move on but she had just recently decided that a few more days from that wouldn't hurt. After all, what was the rush? She sets the empty suitcase on the floor once she was done, setting a pillow in it to watch Rikki make his way into it, deciding to burrow in the pillow case. "See isn't that better? I don't want to end up rolling on you in the middle of the night" Some may think she was crazy for talking to her ferret but it was her only companion on this roadtrip, by her choice of course. She makes her way into the bathroom and starts the water, enjoying the feel of a hot shower. Another half hour had passed between the shower and blow drying her hair, hotel blow driers were always a little pathetic in power and she hadn't thought to bring her own. She was soon ready with fifteen minutes to spare, she wasn't a complicated girl and she didn't spend hours to get ready but she hated being rushed. She brushes her hair out, deciding to keep it down, puts on just a touch of make-up and chooses a long green maxi dress to wear. At 9:25 she made her way to the elevator to head to the roof.

"No rush really just wanted to make a swim as quickly as possible" dante said half lying and looking at the plate. "Important huh? You dont mind if i check it out and stretch do you? Unless you got something else planned for celeste." He laughed a bit.

Danye quickly looked at the time. He spent far too much time working out amd missed the clock. "Actually i gotta go sawyer. Parents wanted me to call em and its late in florida now. Later"

He dashed to his room and by 9:45 he saw kira on.the roof, he had candles, and alcohol in hand. He wore a white shirt, whitre shorts, and flip flops. "Hey sorry im late" he said setting things on a small table between two chairs
(Its gucci)

Kira was sitting in one of the chairs legs crossed with her foot bouncing slightly. She was admiring the view from the roof and turns, she turns her attention to Dante when she hears his voice. "I was wondering if you were coming or not" A small smile was on her lips so it didn't seem she was all that upset that he was late. Her gaze fell to the candles and alcohol and her smile widens a bit. "Well aren't you just the sweetest thing" She was probably the one of the few girls who would find a guy bringing alcohol sweet, but it was one of the ways to her heart. Anyone who could enjoy a decent drink was just fine in her book.

"Not as sweet as the come and rum were about to have. And mamajuana of course." He set out the drinks and glasses. He brought out a radio from his jansport backpack and plugvd in his iphone. Chris botti radio began playing. "Any requests?" He asked with a smile

She was a little surprised at his music choice, she wouldn't have guessed in a million years that'd be his choice. "I haven't had rum in forever. And I'm perfectly fine with this, but if you did happen to have any Julie London I'd be one happy girl" She smiles and leans back in her chair, putting her elbows on the back of her chair.

He nodded and put on julie london radio on pandora. He took a moment to listen before grabbing out a luxury metal lighter from his bag. "Not bad..." he lit three candles and brought out plastic cups, he served her some. He winked at her and said cheers.

"Not bad?" Kira asks, acting as if she was offended but still had her sly grin on her face. "She's one of the greatest. It's hard, especially to today's standards to sound seductive and sultry without singing about the obvious" She leans forward again and takes her cup, holding it up in a cheers before taking a sip of it, closing her eyes as she enjoys the exotic taste. "I have to say rum would seem to be the perfect drink for this place"
