Well, James is under a great deal of stress and thus just panicked. I don't think terrible isna suiting word, more like 'Elis could find a good reason at the moment' description. And I gave her a small PM or started a conversation or whatever, but she hasnt answered, she's been gone a total of three days counting today and so I suppose we'll give her two more days considering she could be.doing just about anything. If she doesn't contact me within those two days, we're bumping her to the end of the client and server chain, doing a Retcon and have someone else enter first and go from there.

And, if she happens to be missing for a more prolonge time then that, I'll have to put.up a deadline for her that if she continues to miss, I'll simply Retcon Kat out of the Roleplay completely and have her spot filled. This is extreme so it won't be for a while. And is only a contingency plan for if she co tinues to be absent.

Of course Cordial could still come back around, but if she's not then we have a few options of where to go from there. More contingency plans so to speak.

• Kill off Katherine. Homestuck is full of death and RPs will rarely get a taste of it except for situations exactly like these. Of course this ruins the fact that we're a 6-person session, so we'd need to retcon in a 7th member of our group (not a real retcon when you think about it) and have Katherine die by meteors before she enters the medium. In a nutshell we'd be moving the chain forward a member like you said, Crocia entering first. Katherine was the designated leader, so if she remains a canon thing that had happened at one point we can put Crocia first without designating her the "leader".
  

Crocia's SBURB client would suddenly shut down and she'd be left wondering what happened to Katherine. Ryan would get a move on and bring Crocia into the game. James would be annoyed that his player order was messed up. Everyone would wonder what happened to Katherine and in the far future, we could learn from dream bubbles or something that she died, which would probably be the conclusion of most of the characters already anyway.

• Not retcon Katherine and say we did. Katherine is kind of entrenched in the RP already. It'd be a mild nightmare to edit out all interactions with her, so it seems like the kind of retcon where we don't bother to edit our posts.
  

We'd pretend that Katherine never existed, no one ever talked to her, and that Crocia was meant to be the first to enter by virtue of meteors. We wouldn't really be designating her as a leader though. "Leader" status just really seems unfitting on her, considering she's a troll in a human session. She fits for entering first though, being the one to discover how she wound up on Earth and whatnot.


Either way we'd need a new player, and I'd think Orihara has dibs on that by default if she wants, at the cost of giving up Jack Noir. Alternatively, I have a few friends who'd probably be interested.


Now, a new applying character would need to meet the following criteria:

• Female
  
• Derse Dreamer
  
• Have a class taken from the available pool from Katherine and the guardians, (Thief, Sylph, Mage, Page, Maid, Seer, Rogue) with the remainder shuffled back to the guardians in whatever order we agree on.
  
• Have the time aspect. (Unless someone suddenly finds their character design more copacetic with time, in which case they can have their pick amongst the surrendered aspect and guardian aspects as well.)

If Cordial never returns, we cant rely on the first option as to pretend she simply died and then replace her with a seventh member due to how Skaia need all of its players to enter before it turns into its final form in which case allows it to present the ever-important victory platform. If we just say Kat died and never entered, it means being doomed to never actually winning the game and maybe even not being capable of creating a Genesis frog. Additionally it leaves us with weird Paradox Clone stuff yet again.


But Orihara seems best for the possible job. But we still have to wait, give her time considering a multitude of things could've happened. Her lights could've gone out for whatever reason, she could be traveling and has no wifi signal.....Black Hole....


 
A variety of things, but yes, I think we'll just forget her, easily just deleting all of her posts and be done with it.

I can't art for shit. I use sprites, usually with small edits, (Jolteon, shortening Izen's hair...) from a crossover fangame that seems either discontinued or very slow in development.


That being said, their appearance in the fangame is vastly different from their normal appearance, and their original personality, personality in the fangame, and personality as RP characters are all entirely different. I don't actually remember the fangame all too well... I recall it being rather short, (ACT 1) and mostly focused on other characters. I don't think any of them actually entered the medium when I last played it.


Ryan's brodad on the other hand, is an edited version of the pokemon generation 4 burglar sprite.

Didn't we already rearrange the order so that Crocia's entering first, or is her dire situation to be retconned as well?


In any case, I think the new 6th member would need to be planned around. Making her the leader for simplicity seems highly favorable.


Speaking of which, if Cordial doesn't get back in time, that new member would be controlled by Orihara, correct? Or alternatively would Orihara decline in favor of Jack Noir?

@Orihara is obviously our most favored and easy new member for the job since he already belongs to the Forum and thus we don't have to search further. I do think though that Crocia will be the one to enter first, making he the Leader in a slight twist of events.


We can't really have the sixth new member Orihara will possibly control ever be first, because we're retconning the organization of the client and server ring of connections, making the Sixth member last so we can wait further for Cordial to come back, while Crocia seems the easiest person to send in first.

So we'd be waiting on Cordial even after a retcon and continuing. Kay. Whether Orihara would decline or not was more a question for her. It'd (probably) go without saying she'd (you'd) accept it under normal circumstances, but her (your) character would have to be female, dersite, a time player, and restricted to a certain range of classes.

So, now we're up and changed, we need to.change things up. I guess since Kat actually hasnt entered the Medium yet Crocia can still enter first and go with the regular schedule, just starting at a different place.


 
You'll have to inquire with Villain about that when he's on.


 
So now all we must do is hook Ryan up to Crocia and afterwards we can go from there.
