Kiba's hair isn't showing just yet. He's wearing a beanie and even has a hood up to hide his white hair. Also, his name wouldn't have come up in the daily prophet unless you're referring to the article about his parents deaths. Just saying ^^

Ah, I misread the information about the beanie. I can edit that quite easily in both of my posts. It was easier to describe Kiba and Coyle by their hair, when Peara did not know their names yet. As for his name in the Daily Prophet, Peara would be familiar with the article, since her parents are obsessed with Pure-blood culture. Her parents would pay close attention to children attending Hogwarts who are of the same blood and year as Peara, since it would be easier to make ties with them. I believe I read your character sheet correctly in saying that he is Pure-blooded.

Oh I know that feeling. Especially since I did just drop an info bomb with the 12 articles I added to the 'Updates' tab. xD


But yeah, the only time 'Marrok' would have been in the paper is reporting the death of Yumi Marrok, the arrest of his father (Kiba doesn't know his dad was arrested instead of killed, or if he's still alive in Azkaban) for the murder, and the disappearance of Kiba Marrok. But that paper came out four years ago (and I haven't decided if I should write it up xD )

For anyone that's read the news articles I put in the 'Updates' tab, can I get some critique on how it was presented? I was trying to convey that different news outlets were concerned with different aspects of the same story, while still getting the overall story across.


Any critiques are much appreciated. I'm always looking to improve my writing and backstories is something I really want to master.

Yeah, there are a lot of replies in a small period of time, lol. Is there a way to implement a posting limit or how many writers reply in between, so it isn't such a back and forth between a few characters, when there is a larger group?

I definitely understand. It was just a bit overwhelming, considering I did not have time to post due to shopping for Christmas presents for family all day yesterday and coming back to 12 posts in a group of 6 writers. xD I guess that happens when you have a large group, but I'm used to a more moderately paced RP.


Plus, then people are trying to play catch up by trying to explain their character's absence in the last couple of posts or responding to everything in one post.

It's cool. I've been there too, so playing catch up is something I have to do frequently. I'm a full time student, and I also have a job. I believe I'm going to be working later today, but I should be able to get a post together sometime this evening, since I am working on something else at the moment.

I am impressed by people who are able to study and work at the same time. I might have to in the future, as I'll be enrolling in another course either next year or the year after next, which has an intensive internship period.

Not really sure, there's a few of us in cars, but most of us are gathered in the aisle around Kiba since his owl decided to make a fuss that drew a lot of people around him..

Just keep in mind, Kiba is currently doing his best impression of Kenny from South Park... his hood fell off and a few people saw his hair, so he's yanked the hood up and pulled the drawstrings tight.
