We've only ever used notepad++


and.. powerpoint.

I've used several... Python, Javascript, Linux/Unix, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, Visual Basic, just off the top of my head. Java is much nicer for making games like this... i'll say that much... Python would be nicer too. Visual basic is... frankly a massive pain for this sort of thing xD

It's kind of like a weekly review for the class. We go over the material with a teaching assistant who is working on their Masters in that field. Not all classes have them though. For the calculus recitation, we also have a quiz at the end of each recitation, which is why I go.
