__Avenue Peacelights__

Avenue eventually finding himself falling asleep from the boringly loud crowd of mixed schools inside decided to move a bit. Grabbing his bag and mounting it on his back, Avenue slowly pushed his way through people and reached the entrance of the hall. If he had moved any faster, the items tied to his bag would have probably fallen of his back or broken by others. "I'm pretty sure this place shouldn't have the many people while we're supposed to carry all this stuff around.." He mumbled under his breath particularly because there wasn't really anyone he was talking to and the area was too loud for general normal toned conversation.

Making his way out with noticeable annoyance on his face, he headed toward the lake. He was always fond of water masses because they always marked an interesting area. Of course the school of wizardry was interesting. It was literally magic. He also thought about the uniqueness of not being in the grand hall on the first day. As he kept his pace toward the lake, a figure slowly grew in sight. Getting closer in view, he finally was able to see the blonde girl sitting alone.
"I guess my idea wasn't as original as I thought." He noted aloud without noticing coming up close enough for her to possibly hear him. "Too loud in there for you too?" He asked the sitting girl.

He nodded, curious about the forest. "Ever seen a unicorn?" He asked, a he remembered hearing about how the lord Voldemort had survived at first off the blood of a unicorn. The dark lord may have been evil, but he sure as hell was intelligent...

Alezi was determined to come into the least amount of human contact this year. She'd worn old army boots with her robes, gaining some strange looks from classmates. "I hope I can get to the library a lot. Gotta find out how exactly one becomes an animagus ((I don't plan on her becoming one unless it's ok with the author!!))." The slytherin said, without realizing someone could've heard her.

Bored out of her mind and not really knowing what was going on, Imogen looked around for a chance to escape the main hall. She wasn't patient enough to just stand there and wait. The second she saw the opportunity, Imogen got out of the crowd of first years and went over to stand near the Slytherin table. She got several dirty looks from the first years, but chose not to care about the thought of dimwitted children.

She looked around quickly for a place to sit and found an empty chair close to the end of the table. She lowered her head in hopes of not being discovered, but her outfit was definitely not the house's uniform and her bright pink hair was hard to miss. Imogen wondered if when they were going to put that stupid talking hat on her and finally stop trying to fit in.

(Kinda just for you Nessie)

I looked around and after all of the first years had already gone through the sorting something was out of place. I looked around the room and found a girl at the Slytherin table that didn't seem to belong there. "Imogen Lovegood" I said as I came closer to her, and only loud enough for her to hear. "I believe it is your turn, although it seems you know where it is you will be situated" I presented the hat to her. "I myself am a Slytherin." one could feel the tension in the air as I put it onto her head. with that the hat spoke "Great dreams and ambitions this one, Slytherin would be a good choice and one could go quite far. The daughter of Luna I see, smart one that girl, odd but smart, where do you fit in?" it spoke in hushed tones that only the two of us could hear.

Molly let out a wishful sigh, "No, I haven't but I would love to at some point. They are quite shy in nature, and actually prefer the touch of a woman.Rarely letting men get near them." She explained to him, unsure if Drumstrang had a Care For Magical Creatures class. whether they did or not she continued. "They're not easy to catch so I haven't gotten to study one in class." She looked up at him, "Do you have interest in magical creatures?"

Emmet shook his head. "Nope, we don't even have the class... Though we do have quite a bit of threstrals," he mused, thinking of the riding lessons he had taken as a boy. "It's a bit morbid I guess, but they're useful." He peered through the trees as they reached the forest, but didn't see much of anything. He turned around, and saw the flags of another building. "That must be the stadium over there?" He asked.

Imogen stared at the guy who had just spoken to her. She was blushing blood red from being called out, guess that's what she gets. If she had stayed with the rest of the first years then maybe she would have been placed along with the other, but since she tried to be smart now she was being called out in front of all the Slytherin table. Of course no one could hear them. Well this is embarrassing.

Having the hat placed on her head filled Imogen with nerves. She closed her eyes as the hat spilled out the fact that she was the crazy one's daughter. Great. Why don't you tell them that I haven't shaved either and that my underwear is green. Imogen looked around then the hat began to ponder where she would be put. She looked at all the houses with their pathetic smiles and cheering on for that tournament thing that was going on. When the anxiety of the hat's silence finally overwhelmed her she stood up grunting, tore the hat off of her head, and held it in front of her. "So what's it gonna be hat?"

"Must be strange riding something you may not be able to see." Molly thought out loud. She herself couldn't see them, because she had never witnessed death first hand. Something she was grateful for. "Yep, that where we have our Quidditch matches." She said, "Not too fond of the sport myself but I'll show my Hufflepuff spirit at games we are in."

As she threw the hat down I leaned over and picked it up. I motioned her to stand up, I leaned down closer to her "Unfortunately you were not meant to be a Slytherin, but Knowledge is Power, not ambition Ravenclaw will do you well Imogen. Make a name for yourself" as I put the hat behind me and levitated it back to the podium. "I see great things coming from you, I will leave you with these words. Prove them wrong" I turned with a slight nod and walked back towards the other professors.

Faye stiffened when she heard someone behind her. She didnt turn around and closed her eyes since it was a male voice. "I dont...... do well with crowds...." she straightened the skirt of her beauxbatons uniform in nervousness.

"I'm sure all the guys just fall from their brooms, seeing a girl as beautiful as ourself cheering them on," Emmett purred, winking at her. "I'm a beater, but I don't think I'm good enough to go pro or anything. Dueling is more my thing," he added, rolling his shoulders.

Aiden had just stepped outside the doors when he heard the girl get sorted. He tilted his head and snortes realizing he hadnt been and it waa his first year at Hogwarts. He sighed and turned back inside. He walked straight up to the headmaster and smiled softly. "Sir, I must apologize, I have not been sorted either...." he spoke charmingly and glanced at the girl who looked annoyed

Molly felt her face get hot with embarrassment again. "Um well, I mean I don't really think..." She couldn't think of what to say to that comment. "I hear being a Beater is tough work." She said shyly. After a moment of awkward silence she looked up to him, her face most likely still blushing "I'm a Duelist as well." She said to him trying to calm down.

Imogen winced at hearing the dreaded name of the same house her mother was in. She looked up at the Slytherin fellow who the retreated to the professors. Who are they to tell me where I belong? I'm not gonna get bossed around by anyone much less a hat. Imogen began to walk toward the table where she was 'supposed' to be. She grimaced at the sight of such an abomination of people. Imogen lingered in the back afraid that if she got too close she would be contaminated by the disease Luna called, wit.

He raised an eyebrow at the pleasant surprise. "Really," he asked her, heading back to the castle with her."We'll have to spar sometime then," he said. "Plus, if you're good, we can teach those cocky Americans a lesson or two," he added with a laugh.

I turned towards the new boy that stood in front of me. At that moment I flashed back to my childhood here at Hogwarts, my darker days when I didnt care for others but myself. I placed the hat upon his head, the hat then spoke hushed once again "I see another comes through these halls, from Salazar Slytherin, Percivell, Gaunt... Riddle. I see where you are meant to be, be careful, be cautious. Slytherin is your new home" I took the hat from his head and placed back onto the pedestal. "This place may be your home if you let it, welcome Aiden" I then walked over to Imogen, in her I saw myself a long time ago. I walked up to her and handed her a small amulet so no one would see. "When you are in your room alone, listen and repeat what it says" with that I walked out of the main hall.

Molly laughed along with him, "I'm not that great yet, I'm only a 4th year." She told him as they walked. "So what is Drumstrang like? It seems like most of you are boys." She was curious about the other schools, she always liked the idea of traveling the world and getting to meet people from around the world was as close as she was going to get for now.

"I don't know, I've seen some pretty good fourth years," he mused. He shrugged at her second question. "We definitely focus more on spell casting then studying the history or origin behind them. We also train for tournaments like this one," he said. "There are rumors that our school teaches dark magic...the answer to that, I'm afraid, I cannot disclose," he said, grinning at her pointedly.

Bowing to the hat and the headmaster, Aiden smirked and walked toward the girl that was all alone. He let the headmaster walk off before approaching her. "Hello"

Imogen grew angry at hearing the other kid being placed in Slytherin. She cursed at him under her breath and gave him a death stare even though she new he wasn't even paying attention to her. That mut.

The guy that had given her the hat approached her and handed her an amulet before running off. She was barely able to register what she said when she noticed the new Slytherin mut approaching her.

Imogen shoved the amulet in one of the many pockets her uniform seemed to have before he reached her. She gave him a nasty look as he arrived and said hello. Imogen eyed him noticing his hair. Kudos on that.

Imogen lifted her chin and spoke so overly confident it made her sound like the spoiled brat she was, "Hi."

He tilted his head to the side and then smiled. "I'm sorry you didn't get into Slytherin with me. But if you want, you can come down there with me and hang out." He hadn't reacted to the glared or her tone of voice. He had already met the famous Potter on his way to the train. Aiden snorted at that very fresh memory. yeah, that didn't go over too well. He held a hand out to her and grinned. "Oh yea, my name is Aiden, Aiden Riddle. 3rd year transfer from Salem Witch."

"Dark magic? I didn't think that was taught in any school." Molly said a little surprised. "It wouldn't bother me if you did though, so long as you never planned on using it that is." His grin was a bit captivating, but a bit intimidating as well. She thought about Drumstang for a moment, and then thought back on how they had gotten to Hogwarts, "Do you...do you think I could see the inside of that Ship you guys came in on? I've never seen a ship that sails under water." She asked sweetly. She was so curious about it.

Riddle...why does that sound so familiar? Imogen glanced at the boy who had just introduced him. She planned on introducing herself in a clam manner as well and thank him for the offer of taking her in, but instead her remarks were much more defensive. She ignored his hand and words came tumbling out of her mouth "I'm not a wondering puppy that you can pitty." What she really meant, Hello thanks for the offer. I'd love to hang out with you. Oh and by the way my name is Imogen. I'm the psycho's daughter.

Avenue still couldn't really see her face but as he spoke before, he noticed her body flinch. Maybe she is as awkward with people as I am. He then noticed the slightest movement from the back of her head but didn't hear anything. "Oh!" He exclaimed rather out of place. He lifted his hands to his ears and took out his earplugs in which he had forgotten. "Sorry, I didn't hear what you just said there.." He confessed straightly sitting down next to her. "I had earplugs in." As he spoke, he held his hand as if wanting to show her proof. He didn't want to look at her because as it seemed, she was nervous and eye contact is always awkward. "You must not like the big crowd, huh?" He assume hopefully correct. Why am I being so nice? He was normally really weird by this point. This was very strange to him but the thought made him notice that she wasn't wearing a Hogwarts uniform. "And it's not even your school." He tried to sympathize as much as he could which was again weird for him.
