Full Name: Raistlin Majere

Family: Caramon- twin brother, Muggle (probably won't show up much in the Rp other than mentions)
Physical description: Raistlin is a very thin young man. All height (though he is only on the taller side of average) with no real muscle or meat on his bones. He is very pale skinned, with lightly curly auburn hair and pale icy blue eyes and a square jawline.

Personality: Raistlin can be a bit of an ass, but eases up once he decides a person is not trying to hurt him. He prefers his own company to others, but it does get lonely. He doesn't really consider anyone as friends, and doesn't particularly care what others think of him. Despite being in Slytherin, he does not hold shame in that his twin is a Muggle. It is not his fault, and he rather prefers it that way. His twin got the physical strength and Raistlin got the magic.

Due to being a target for bullies when he was younger, Raistlin despises anyone who would pick on another over something they had no control over. Even standing up against his own housemates to put a stop to it if he has to.

He is very studious in nature. Always carrying at least 3 books, with his nose almost always in one of them. Though he doesn't not flaunt any knowledge he had in class, as he likes to sit in the back unnoticed. The library is his favorite place in the entire school. He has a strong interest in just about every form of magic, and wants to learn it all. Even the dark stuff, though he tells himself he'd never use it. This leads him to practicing on his own a lot. He was almost put in Ravenclaw due to this trait. However, he had a strong desire to rise above everyone else. He wants to be the best. And that is what put him in Slytherin. After watching everyone idolize his brother as they grew up, with his strong build and kind nature, a jealousy sparked in Raistlin. He could not seem to gain that open admiration himself. Being cmore closed off as he was. This had ignited his want for power above others more the older he's gotten, making Slytherin a much better fit in the long run.

About:
Raistlin has an older twin brother. The twin, by contrast to Raistlin (especially when he first started school) is a very healthy and energetic youth. Raistlin, however, almost didn't survive the birth and has since suffered several ailments that his twin never has to deal with. Raistlin has terrible seasonal allergies, he gets sick easily. He has been known to stress himself to fever over projects, especially if he has to work with others. He is extremely bright and observant, and has a tendency to just automatically assume others are less intelligent than himself.

He is much more a silent observer, though this leads him to have a very lonely school life. He loves to learn. Anything and everything. Thanks to magic, and several visits to the infirmary his first year, many of the issues with his poor health seem to have been more or less fixed.

He does not come from a wealthy family. Just the opposite, really. Their father, while an honest and decent enough man, couldn't ever seem to get a good job leaving him working all the time to make ends meet. Leaving them home with their mother, who never fully recovered from the hard labor of the twins.

Their mother was a witch, but born from muggle parents. Being avidly against magic, they refused their daughter the right to learn to control it. As such, after she had her boys, the magic consumed her mind. The twins weren't uncared for, but they basically raised each other between their father always working and their mom spending more time lost in her imaginings than paying attention to her children.

This year is the first time Raistlin was not excited to he without his twin, who like their father turned out to he Muggle while Raistlin inherited his mother's gift. Their father perished in an accident, and their mother withered despite Raistlins best efforts to care for her and followed just a week later from grief. Now Orphaned, Raistlin has no idea how his twin will be faring alone. Or how the hell he's suppose to be able to afford the schooling his father ensured he had access to (out of fear of his son turning out like his mother). He knows he will need to find a job, but does not know if his young age will allow him to get one. He worries that this may be his last year at Hogwarts, simply because he doesnt have the money for the tuition. It frustrates him, since he is so close to being done with his schooling and hopes someone might understand his situation and overlook his age.

Patronus backstory: Raistlin is prone to night terrors. He always has. His brother would often wake him up and make shadow rabbits to take his mind off the frightening images his mind conjured up. It is a memory that Raistlin holds very close.

It is because of this that their father ended up getting the boys a pet Rabbit to share. Caramon didn't want his brother to get lonely at school, and insisted Raistlin take Cottontail to school with him the year before. It is just a normal white and brown house Rabbit, but Raistlin is very fond of it. The rodent itself has been trained (by Raistlin) to walk with him and use a litter pan.

When Raistlin came as a first year he was severely asthmatic. Just going up the many stairs to reach his classes often had him collapsed in exhaustion. Thanks to the mediwitch in charge of the infirmary, though, magic was able to fix his lungs. However, illness still seems to find him from time to time.

STYLE: Either classy or skimpy goth/alternative aesthetic. When she's not in uniform it's corset-like tops, chokers, fishnets constantly. Won't be caught without her heels ( makes her feel like a bad bitch/ powerful)
MODIFICATIONS: She has her septum pierced with a dainty ring that holds a soft pale pink crystal, keeps a silver streak/extension in her hair to be *different* also usually wears acrylic nails

PERSONALITY: Most people who *claim* to know Valencia would describe her as a bitchy brat. She's the bad girl causing trouble and mischief everywhere she goes. A whirlwind of destruction. Bust most people are too intimidated to get to know the real valencia ..or she's just incredibly secretive and closed off, either way, she likes it like that. She wants to be seen as the rebellious, spoiled, bad bitch. She keeps up the facade of the unapproachable bitchy girl to be left alone, if she doesn't let anyone in she can never get hurt. She can never be judged for who she is rather she wants to be judged for the assumptions people make of her. She doesn't want to have to meet anyone's expectations of her especially because of her family name, she doesn't even want to meet her own so she doesn't hold any. No expectations or goals. Just to distance herself from her name and family reputation. Shed never let anyone see the insecure soft-hearted girl she truly is, the girl that secretly reads romance novels at night under the covers with a flashlight. The girl that cuddles up to hopper, her stuffed bunny from when she was a child. The girl that falls for people too quickly and always gets hurt, the girl who hates to see others or animals in pain. *the good girl*. That's definitely not who valencia is and you'll never see it...


ABOUT:
Valencia is the younger child of the Silverstine family, a high class well-respected wizarding family of all purebloods. Every single one of them has been a Slytherin that has done something great, excelled at most things. But more than anything it's a family full of rivalry, hate, prejudice, and cruelty. Valencia has been the black sheep/ the outcast for most of her life especially in her younger years when she displayed her ‘gender issues” and even worse her..kindness.

Valencia was a soft, shy, empathetic, and nurturing child, everything a Silverstine wasn’t. Silverstine’s were cruel, cunning, competitive, hateful, manipulative, and did everything in their powers for success. Valencia’s brother on the other hand was everything the family hoped for, a genius, incredibly selfish and competitive, he did everything he could to make Valencia feel small and weak and unworthy. Even from her earliest memories Valencia only remembers hating her brother and they have always been rivals, the only thing her parents were proud of her for (which is toxic and seriously fucked up) until, to Valencia's disappointment, she was in fact sorted into Slytherin.

Valencia wanted more than anything to be placed in Hufflepuff just to spite her horrible parents but once the sorting hat yelled “ a Silverstine! Oh no doubt about it, Slytherin !!!” she started screaming like the little brat she was and threw the old ugly hat to the floor, that being the first of many times valencia would cause trouble or a tantrum/ bitch fit. From then on valencia made a vow to be the worst, rebellious, bitchy version of herself she could just to piss off her parents and ruin the family reputation within Hogwarts. For most of her years within Hogwarts, her brother was the Slytherin prefect, much to the joy of her parents but it lead to him making her life even more of a living nightmare.

The worst thing Valencia's brother had done to her, which was his final parting gift before the end of his 7th year, was convincing a girl in her year to fake feelings for valencia. In a moment of stupidity and confusion, she decided to open up about her bisexuality to her brother who surprisingly at the time seemed to be supportive of her for the first time in her life. Not long after that conversation, a Ravenclaw girl from the same year she had been crushing on started giving her attention and slowly chipped away at valencias hard facade. She was vulnerable with her and stupidly told her things she wouldn't say to anyone else with the assumption she felt the same way valencia felt about her. Little did she know the girl was telling all of valencia’s secrets to her brother, things he could definitely use against her. It wasn’t long till Valencia's whole world came falling apart around her. She was attending the graduation ceremony for her brother and the girl offered to come with her for support, knowing her family would be ignoring her, and seeing her brother get all the praise was a lot for her. But as soon as the girl and her brother saw each other he pulled her in and started kissing her in front of all the other students and their parents. As her brother got into the farewell boats he turned back to valencia with the evilest look and said “ you didn’t really think she loved you back did you? Stupid girl no one could ever love someone like you.” and as the boat sailed off valencias heart broke and tears streamed down her face, the first and only time she had cried in front of other students, she ran off in a hurry and refused to speak to anyone for the whole summer.

In the present, it's the start of her sixth year, the year after the events of that summer, and the first year at Hogwarts without her brother. It's the first year where she feels really unsure of herself and..scared.. will she be able to keep up the front of the intimidating bitch after the incident..or is she the pathetic girl who had her heart crushed in front of everyone.

Backstory- Sebastian grew up in a bland muggle home. Mom was a lawyer, and Dad managed the family grocery store. He grew up with an older sister, and a younger brother, the only wizard of the family. Sebastian always knew he was special, he knew his destiny lie far from the small town he lived in. He just was never sure what exactly was special about him. As the accidental magic grew stronger and more frequent, he was determioned to find answers. On his eleventh birthday, he got those answers. A woman in deep green robes showed up on the Grey doorstep one day and explained it all. Sebastian was a wizard! He was offered a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Through his years off at school, his parents still never seemed to quite accept that he was a wizard, but didn't treat him any differently because of it. He strives to be the best at his schoolwork, but being in a magical castle offers more than a few distractions. He's always been fascinated by wand making, and his ambition is to become the worlds best Wand Maker. Even better than Ollivander himself!
