Fandom Hogwarts (Always open)

So in this roleplay we will be playing as students from Hogwarts. There will be no canon characters. This is like after Harry is dead and all of his kids are close to be dead. So he existed, and the books happened, but they will not be in the Rp. Please do not have a character who is related to a canon character in anyway shape or form.


So i should mention, i don’t have a real plot for this, it’s just a take what comes type thing. IF this goes as i plan there will also a passing of years.meaning that your characters will age and graduate. We will need first year characters as well. Once your character graduates they are not allowed back as a student. They can come back as a teacher, or their kids can come back. If we want we can even make a separate rp for the graduates of Hogwarts.


The last thing that isn’t specific is that if you have a new character you want to play after we start, please start them off as a first year. Or if it’s started and you want to join you’ll join as a first year when we start a new year, The original group can start of at different years, but after we hit year two all new students will be first years.


Quidditch-


So there will be quidditch The original team will be first come first serve, After we get started if you character is a captain they will be doing tryouts when they need new players. They will tell members when practice is so on and so forth. If your character wants to be a captain mention so in the other section of the character sheet, than please PM me as that character with, whos, whats, and whys. I will decide soon.


There are a limited number of spots as well so come quick and get them before they are gone. I’ll post what spots are open down below with character sheets and such.


If your character wants to be on the team, for now let me know in the other section once we start contact your team captain for what your character will have to do.


I will let you know when the games will take place.


FIRST YEARS CANNOT BE ON THE TEAM


Houses-


You will be allowed to choose your house as long as there are characters in each and every house. If there are a million people in gryffindor house, but no one in hufflepuff, just no… no…please no……..


Prefects and Heads of Houses-


If a character of yours wants to be a prefect or a head boy please PM me the whos, whats, and whys. After we get started all request will be submitted to me, but teacher characters will also be able to help decide.


Teachers-


You will also have an opportunity to play teachers as well as the head of house. If you have a character who want to apply for the job ask the headmaster(ME!!) through PM. i will post a list of classes that still need a teacher below.

Henry McCoy walked through the platform, though his parents did not follow him. They were both muggles, and did not yet trust the whole Magic thing. He could only imagine them still on the platform, watching him just disappear. Though Henry did not have long to linger on his thoughts for the station he had arrived at was now full of students some dressed in robes, others dressed as muggles. Some were talking with friends and family, others, some more his age just looked terrified. He sighed as he noticed the train. HE picked up his bags and started to walk towards the train.


Once he was aboard the train he found an empty Compartment and sat down, before looking out the window, just glad that he had actually made it to the train.


Daniel King entered the platform, holding the cage of his cat close. He stepped a few feet away from the platform and seconds later he saw his mum and dad Follow him in. His mum was still not used to the whole magic thing. His dad however was a wizard and had been to hogwarts back in the day. “ Okay. I’ve got to go, before I’m late. Plus I’m meeting up with some friends. “ He said as he hugged his parents one at a time.


“ Write us okay?” His dad said. Daniel nodded. “ Always. “ He said a he finished his hugs. He than picked up his bags from his dad and went to search for his friends.


Riley Jones stepped on to the Platform, said quick good-bye to her parents before she walked to the train. She quickly found an empty compartment and pulled out her book. She skipped searching for friends. If they really wanted to talk to her they could come find her. She skipped even the big good-byes with mum and dad.There were always letters to write and send. Plus there was always summer when she would see the, again. She started on her book, sitting there silently reading.


Elizabeth Benson walked with her Sister onto the Platform. She held both of their Owls on her cart. At 12 Pru was already almost a good foot taller then her. She only wished her sister knew the truth, but their parents had decided it best to not tell her about being a half Gaint until they felt she was old enough. “ You watch your sister now. “ Mrs. Benson said to Elizabeth who nodded. “ Always. “ She said with a smile. Elizabeth loved her sister, and was worried about what some students could say and do to her. Especially those in her own house. Especially after she left the school. She looked at Pru. “ Do you want a minute alone with them are are you good?” SHe asked, prepared to hug their parents good-bye and walk a few feet away to wait. She knew how much she enjoyed the last few minutes she had with her parents her first year, and wanted to make sure Pru got to spend those moments the way she wanted to.

Marco waved goodbye to his father and a few of his fathers friends from his "work", who Marco considered like his uncles, as he walk through the platform. Marco headed onto the train and headed into one of nearer departments that were empty. Once he was in he sat his bags next to him and opened up the small tank Scales was in so Marco can play with him a little. "Well Scales it seem we are going to be wizards... Well I am, your just my pet." Marco said to Scale petting him on his lap.

Not to mention her tall and large frame, she was always teased by some kids while parents looked at her with mistrust and some with disgust. She was deep in her thoughts she barely heard Elizabeth speak."Hmm... Sorry?" She said awkwardly turning to Elizabeth. "Oh eh.. Yeah..." She managed to say hugging her parents." Can i please not go!?" She found herself blurt out after the hug in near tears.

Norella walked through the platform and immediately came out to students and parents talking to each other and she walked forward until she heard he parents call for her. She turned around and started hugging the people she wouldn't see for the rest of the year. "You will write to me right?" She smiled she saw her parents both nod and Norella stepped out of the hug. "I'm going to go now, I don't want both of you to lose your job." She laughed alongside her parents and her mother grabbed her again into a hug. "Remember, don't get into trouble and make new friends." Norella sighed at her mother but nodded anyways and broke away from the hug. She waved at her parents and took all of her bags to the train. She walked around while she was on the train and started to find an empty compartment on the train, to no real success, so she opened the door to one with a student that looked her own age."Can I sit here, everywhere else is starting to get full."

Margret was walking onto the platform, a phone in her hand and to her ear, as she was listening to her parent's words of excitement for her from all the way in America, her home country. "Yeah, Mom, I'm fine! And I know, I'm about to go onto the train to the school! ...Yes, yes, I know- Wait, mom, I gotta go. Love you too! Bye!" she said excitedly, as she hung up her phone, placed it back into her pocket of her new school uniform robe, and ran for one of the train entrances. She then tried to find an open seat for the trip; looking through all of the compartments. Finally, she found one in the back and sat down, happy that she saw some people in it. She looked through all of her stuff, making sure she had everything. Once she made sure, she set her stuff down, took her kitty out and set him on her lap, where she knew he would sleep for the whole ride, and smiled as she looked up at the other kids. "Hello! I'm Margret. It's nice to meet you guys!" she said, deciding to introduce herself first.

She knew part of the reason her sister may not want to go for such as the kids teasing, but she knew that there would be good students as well who would welcome her with open arms. She had been there for 6 years and knew several people who would easily accept her sister. She only hoped her sister would. "Besides sweetheart, you don't want to spend another year learning math and science do you?" Their father asked. " Not while Elizabeth is at Hogwarts learning Magic. " Elizabeth nodded, hoping it would be enough for her sister to get on the train.

Henry, who had been watching the crowd, looked at the girl who had entered his compartment. " Uh.. No. No one's here. Just me. I mean yeah you can sit here. " Henry said nervously. He nodded to a spot for her to sit in, though it really didn't matter to him where she sat. He noticed that she looked to be about his age, which was nice. At least it wasn't someone who was a 7th year. Than again maybe she was and she just looked young to him. " I-I'm Henry. " He added with a small smile holding out his hand hoping she would shake it.

Madison pushed her things though the platform, she was still slightly shaken from her latest transformation. She wore her red hoodie to hide the scars and scratches, she hugged her mother goodbye, as her mother reminded her that after the dinner, Maddie must report to the headmistress' office. She winced at the reminder of her lycanthropy, she waved her final goodbye and got on the train. She found a compartment with only two people in it. "Umm... Hello. Do you mind if I sit here?" She asked looking at the two. She pulled off her hood to show her face, she gave them a small insecure smile.

I travel through the train station with my belongings I went through the wall to where the train is. I then put my things with the other student's luggage I went sat down by myself. Can't wait to go to hogwarts it's going to be a great 2nd year.

Katherine Burke

Katherine stayed at Hogwarts year-round since she didn't have a home to return to and the memories she'd spent so long burying would easily resurface. It was safer for her this way.


Sitting in her common room, she had her wand placed on the table with an amplifying charm active as she sat on the couch and played her cello in the pure solitude she found herself in occasionally.

Her hand moved back and forth as she dragged the bow across the strings as she played so beautifully. The charm allowed everyone on the Hogwarts territory to hear it. While, as she played often it had become a kind of rumor that no one knew where the music came from and named the times the music was played as the "Mystery Cellist," she didn't really care for the rumors, she just wanted people to enjoy what she could offer in her spare time.


After awhile, her performance would end and she'd cancel her charm before slipping her wand in her sleeve and began to make her way from her common room and into the Great Hall for lunch. Upon entering and sitting down, Sir Nicholas greeted her with a friendly smile, "How are you, dear girl" Kat looked up and smiled as she took a bite from her roast beef lunch. After swallowing she smiled once more, "I am doing good Sir Nick, Thank you." her voice was soft as she spoke to the ghost before he smiled back and nodded and floated away just as she began to drink a chalice of Pumpkin Juice.

Norella also smiled softly and she sat where he indicated, which was directly across from him. She took his hand and shook it lightly before learning the boy's name, which was Henry. "I'm Norella but you can call me Nora or Ellie if you want and I am a first year." She let go of his hand after an appropriate amount of time had passed and she turned when someone addressed them, a girl with a red hoodie, and when the newcomer dropped her hood she noticed the scars and scratches but didn't say anything about then. It is rude to say something about it, you have no idea what household she comes from so don't say anything about it. She looked over at Henry before looking back at the girl. "No, not at all, that's fine with me anyways." She patted the seat next to her and gave the girl a smile. "What's your name?"

"Yeah like maths and science is so terrible..."She muttered sarcastically, enjoying the subjects and wondered why they didn't teach those subjects as well. "OK, sorry I 'm going, I'm going."She said taking a deep breath and wiping her eyes. She hugged her parents tightly lifting each one effortlessly during the hug. She chuckled." Can't have Lizy have all the magical fun."She added as she put her father down and turned back to her cart.

Cassie was elated that for the first time in three years at Hogwarts, her mother Driscilla hadn't insisted on accompanying her to the platform or having obvious bodyguards flanking her on either side. This year Cassie's father Midas, the current Minister of Magic had managed to coax his elder sister Imelda to accompany her niece to the platform as he and his wife would be needed to represent Britain at a meeting with the International Confederation of Wizards. Cassie did not spend much time with her Aunt Imelda, as she and her father did not get along for the most part, but Cassie did like her aunt very much.


She was a quirky wand maker and the only woman in the family never to be sorted in Gryffindor...until Cassie of course.


"It's been so long since I've seen the train!" Imelda reminisced, "Now you be careful love. You know it's important to keep your guard up. Even if you weren't the Minister's daughter it would still be handy." Imelda patted the girl lightly on the shoulder as a farewell and Cassie clambered onto the train with her grey cat Birdie at her heels and her school trunk in hand.


Cassie glanced over the compartments which were already filling up with students from various years and various houses. She would rather sit somewhere with less people and finish off her book on the history of Catelobruxo School in Brazil. Her few true friends would find her eventually and besides, she usually had to deal with questions about her dad when forced into a compartment with strangers. Once she had found an empty compartment, she set her trunk away and settled down in her seat with book in hand and cat in lap.

Madison put her luggage into its proper place, and sat down next to the girl, "I-I'm Ma-Madison, Madison Faye but please just call me Maddie" she said stumbling at the beginning, "I'm actually a second year, but I'm not really friends with anyone" she said, as she touched her cheek and felt a scratch. She had forgotten that she had a scar there.

Threlm had an excited grin on his face as he walked through the wall being later than he had been the past 5 years he was annoyed with himself. But he couldn't let that bother him he was happy to at least be leaving his boring house and start the Quidditch season along with some of his pranks that he has been planning since the beginning of summer. Living in a house a few hundred miles away from people did have its good sides but it also had its terribly boring side. Threlm took a breath and stepped onto the train. He wondered if there were any compartments with no one in them yet but to no avail he found one that only had one other person to his relief. He walked in being a good 6 feet tall he smiled at the younger student politely before sitting down across from her and in the corner. He put his stuff against the wall. He never brought much with him just the few essentials.

Charlie sighed as she made her way onto the platform. Her parents had insisted on accompanying Zachariah, Marshall, and herself personally this year. It was Zack's final year and Marshall's first. "Now remember to always conduct yourselves properly," their mother instructed, her thick french accent coating every word. All three children gave a nod. Not wanting to delay any longer, Charlie turned to walk away before her father stopped her and pulled her to the side.


Placing a bored expression on her face she faced her father. "Am I forgetting something father," she asked her tone a bland monotone that she only ever used with her family. Her father cleared his throat "You are to remain as school over the Christmas break," he told her, his voice cold. Tilting her head to the side she gave him a questioning look. As way of explanation her father pointed to his wedding ring, then turned and returned to his wife's side.


With her eyes wide and in a daze Charlie made her way onto the train without saying goodbye to her parents, not that they would notice. Picking a compartment at random she looked up to notice two people already seated. One a younger student of her house and the other her fellow Slytherin team beater. "Do you mind if I join you," she asked the two her tone now slightly distant. "Oh, and hello Therlm," she greeted her teammate.

Henry McCoy looked as two females entered his compartment. The first girl responded to Henry, shaking his hand for a moment before letting go. “ Ellie. “ He nodded sticking her name into his brain. He saw the second girl enter moments later, with a red hoodie on. He too noticed the scars, but didn’t say anything, knowing it would be rude to do so. When Ellie said it was fine with her, he nodded. “ I’m fine with it. “ He said with a nod to the newcomer. Ellie seemed confident in herself as she spoke, which was a good think. It meant he didn’t have to lead the conversation. He looked at Maddie as she introduced herself. “ I’m Henry. “ He said reaching out to shake her hand, like he had done with Ella. It seemed both of them had nicknames whereas he was stuck with Henry, When she mentioned she was was a second year he nodded. “ I-i’m a first year. “ He said, before looking at Ella wondering what year she was.

Elizabeth looked at Pru a she growled angrily. She shot her sister a knowing look that told her to calm down. She smiled as her sister lifted their parents into hugs. As Pru spoke again, about not letting her have all the magical fun. “ Besides, you’ve never seen me play quidditch. You need to see a real game. “ She said with a smile before she hugged her parents. “ Take care of her. “ Their mom said quietly into her ear as they hugged. Elizabeth nodded before she looked at Pru. “ Ready to go?” She asked.

Daniel Looked around as his friends all left to go finish goodbyes with their parents and meet up with more friends. He was fine with that. He understood that his friends all had lives to live. He hopped onto a train and looked around for a few minutes before he came to a compartment that had a younger student. “ Hey, you got room in here?” Daniel asked peeking in. He noticed the boy had his pet on his lap and was petting him.

Professor Witten walked to the Great Hall. Some teachers had already arrived, though most were coming back by train. She saw Katherine sitting there eating lunch. “ Don’t forget the students are arriving tonight. “ She reminded the student. “ Please do be ready, and dressed in robes by then. “ She asked the student, before nodding at Sir Nick and walking to the front of the room to start getting chairs prepared, something she preferred to do by hand each year.

Riley looked up as a girl walked into her compartment, without really asking and sat her cat on her lap. She heard the girl introduce herself as Margaret. “ Riley. “ She said with a nod before she looked back down at her book. She wasn’t really interested in talking to most people, preferring books over their company. Though Margaret seemed energetic. When she said it was nice to meet her she looked up once more. “ You really haven’t met me have you? All you’ve said is hi and your name. “ She said before going back her book once more.

Threlm smiled politely at Charlie. Having known Charlie for the past 6 years as well as being the other beater on the Quidditch team for Slytherin. He knew here better than most. "Hello again Charlie it is nice to see you again and of course not. It has surly been far too long. Since the last time we talked. How was your summer?" Knowing her household he knew it was almost as entertaining as his. Though he did have it better off in most aspects it was still no pleasure. He scooted over inviting her to sit next to him.

"As long as you mind him being out of his cage" Marco said shrugging before looking down at his little reptile. "The names Marco by the way, and the chemeolns name is Scale" Marco add figuring he should introduce himself.


Scales Looked at the new person with one eye and was tracking the fly with the other. Then in a second he tongue jolted out and caught the fly right next to the new person.

Norella smiled and looked over at Maddie while she introduced herself and she watched as Major touched her face. She had already noticed the scar but still didn't say anything. "That's cool, what house are you in?" Norella was carefully studying Maddie until she saw Henry looking at her out of the corner of her eye. Her cheeks flushed slowly and she turned to look at the boy in her year. He looked confused or something and Norella bit her lip, an old habit when she was nervous or embarrassed. "What is it Henry?" Norella was confused and she thought maybe he was weirded out by her personality. Wouldn't be the first time someone was like that Ellie and he won't be the last. Wait, no more bad thoughts, think positive Ellie.

Thinking on a good response for how her summer she just settled with, "My summer was about as enjoyable as dragonpox," she said a slight frown on her face. "What about yours," she asked.

Nodded at the teacher, she was already wearing her school uniform which was a gray sweater with a white, button up, long sleeve shirt under it that was complimented by a yellow and black striped tie. A pair of dark jeans and a pair of loose boots that were only laced and tied at the ankle. Though, she was not wearing not her robes as of yet. As she finished eating she stood and made her way over and began to help the teacher prepare the main hall for tonight's annual sorting ritual.
