Fandom Hogwarts: A new generation

Professor Hanson stepped in, helping the girl with the door. He took out his wand and used a silent charm on it. He turned back to the young students and smiled.


"I'm Professor Hanson, your transfiguration professor. I just wanted to talk about what you saw."


He sat across from the two kids.

He sat across from the two kids.

It took Chris every ounce of his self control to stop himself from being reminded of the "traumatized" line. Frankly, he was quite annoyed at himself; why was he behaving so giddily? As though to make up for it, he sat up stiffly to convey a serious manner; in reality it made him look like someone had him strung on an invisible fishing rod. "Yes, Professor?"

The girl looked at the professor who lowered himself across them and obediently listened mostly because she feared him but he had a somewhat kind approach "I suppose that was not the behavior you wanted us to see?" she inquired

Liliana settle back in their compartment with a sigh, in reality she was too exhausted after a night shift at work. She gazed at the landscape slowly passing with the velocity of the train.

Professor Hanson smiled at the young girl.


"That's right. Its not only against school rules to use magic out of class but its illegal to use magic outside school until you're seventeen. Those students are on the school train so they aren't going to be expelled but they still got in trouble. You need to be careful about using magic.


Now what's your names? Any questions?"

Aria slowly nodded "Understood Professor, My name is Aria" she said quietly as she evaluated the compartment "What other subjects might we have besides transfiguration?"

"That's right. Its not only against school rules to use magic out of class but its illegal to use magic outside school until you're seventeen. Those students are on the school train so they aren't going to be expelled but they still got in trouble. You need to be careful about using magic.


Now what's your names? Any questions?"

" What's transfiguration? " Chris asked, more to himself, but still audibly enough for the Professor to hear. "Er.." Chris started, suddenly realising his rudeness, "My name is Christopher McManus."

Hanson smiled and chuckled, "Transfiguration is changing things into other things like this." He waved his wand and muttered under his breath. The cat that belonged to the girl turned into a small chest. Then before she could panic it turned back just as normal as it was before.


"And you'll have potions, defense against the dark arts, flying, history of magic, charms, herbology, and some astrology. "

Her eyes widened as she saw her kitten get turned into a chest "But... but I don't want that to happen to Fuoco again!" she gulped as she listened to the list "oooo flying? potions?" those were the two things that interested her from it.

Chris, after overcoming his astoundment over the transformation, was suddenly taunted by an image of himself and Aria airborne and maintaining altidude through rapidly windmilling their arms.

"Excuse me! Pardon me!" Eveleen called out as she pushed her way through a crowd of older students. She wasn't sure why they were standing out in the hall, but she figured the Fanged Frisbee going nuts in one of the compartment had something to do with it. After some struggle she popped out the other side. Checking to make sure she had everything, she was pleased to find she had made through without any of her usual klutziness. With a smile, Eveleen took a step forward... and had a chocolate frog land on her face.


With a squeak of surprise, she stumbled back, slipped on some poor kids remembrall, banged the back of her head against a door, and fell crashing to the floor. "Owwie..." she groaned.

"Yes. Flying and Potions. In fact the professor that was with me earlier is the Potions Mistress. She's good too. And Flying is great! I played quidditch in school. I was a beater."


Suddenly the professor heard a bump outside against there door. He reached over and pulled the door open. A young girl had fallen outside the compartment.


Hanson stood up and grabbed her hand to help her up.


He recognised her from a photo the Headmaster had shown him. He smiled kindly at the vampire and bent down to her height.


"Are you okay? Dizzy? What's your name" He asked checking for a concussion just in case.

She jolted off her seat in wonder on what it was like to fly along in the blue sky. However as everyone everted towards the collapsed girl she went out herself even though she wasn't going to be of much help.

The professor heard the sudden commotion outside she was curious on what had happened. she motioned her way out seeing a toppled girl, the two first years and her colleague down her level and went to inquire "What happened is everything alright?"

Hanson felt around the bomb to see any blood.


"Hello? I need you to speak to me."


When the others spoke to him he waved them off.


"A student hit her head."

"Yeah, I'm - ow - I'm okay. This happens all the time." Eveleen winced as the teacher poked around head. She became keenly aware of all the eyes watching her. "Seriously, I'm okay."

She was relieved that the female was alright and took a few steps back to give the girl some space after all everyone was crowding her.

Hanson nodded and backed off. He just didn't want a hurt student when they hadn't even gotten to Hogwarts yet.


He smiled towards Liliana and stepped by her.


"Let's go back to our car and leave these kids to their fun."

"Not too much enthusiastic fun" Liliana gladly returned a smile on him and patted him on the back as he passed by her "You have to stop over reacting you know... There was nothing to be alarmed off" she chuckled and headed insidd their compartment awaiting for him to join her.

"Looks like we're close though. Its dark outside."
