Watching Jacob vanish off with the files that he didn't care for he shakes his head whispering, "Dunce." Crouching down he looks below the drawer Jacob took and pulls out a portion of the large stack of papers from the drawer underneath. Placing them on the headmaster's desk he skims through them, looking for information on what happened to students when they finish their senior year here. On each last page of the graduated student's documents it reveals that students were either shipped into special branches of the military, or executed for being too weak. "Shit." Cody says not too surprised; tossing the papers back onto the stack they were on he feels he spent too much time in here. Jumping out of the office he shuts the windows behind him and walks off making his way to his room. I figured graduation would have been like that, with the combat and survival classes. He thought, quietly walking away from the scene of trouble they started.

Shit, I need to leave. Like right now. Syth slipped through the window taking the file about himself with him. I need to get back to my dorm before anybody notices me. The hell was with Jacob just leaving with all of those files all of the sudden. He made his way back to his dorm, opening the door he quickly stepped inside and shut it behind him rushing to his bedroom where he put the file on his desk. He sat down at his desk and opened the file.

Eventually reaching his room he's about to enter when he realizes he needs to continue training, he needs to become lethal. Especially now that his future is partially revealed, unless of course he's too weak to make the cut. So, he heads back over to the training center now having that much more motivation.

 

[Deadly Darkness]

Elizabeth woke up slowly, making no effort in getting ready too quickly. She yawned tiredly, taking her time in getting up. A smile pulled at her lips as she remembered the events of the day before. Blood rushed to her face as she thought about Cody's face lingering close to hers, her hand resting on his bare chest. She quickly shook the thoughts out of her head. "I need to start training." She mumbled. Elizabeth got ready for the day, though instead of her usual hoodie and jeans, she traded them out for yoga pants and a teal tank top (that in her opinion, matched her eyes very well). Stopping by the cafeteria, she grabbed a water bottle and headed to the combat room.

Still inside the training center Cody has been working on building muscles and technique like a mad man with a cause, a little terrified what will happen to him if the school finds out he was one of the students who broke into the headmaster's office as well as his own new fate. He's exhausted but to him it appears like he needs to keep pushing himself, so he does. With a wooden Kendo stick gripped in his hands he lashes out at the beating bag, giving it brutal strikes. Cody feels like he's starting to get better with his striking and combos with a sword; although he won't find that out until he spars someone.

Elizabeth entered the combat room, finding Cody was already in there. "Morning," she said cheerfully as she began stretching. "How'd you sleep?" She asked as she began jogging in step. Once her heart rate was up she moved over to one of the mannequin torsos stuck on large poles, throwing punches and kicks. "You seem to be working hard. Is there a test coming up I should know about?" She said with a laugh.

Hearing Elizabeth he turned towards her and waved, very happy to see her as she made him feel better; none the less he would have to tell her. Smiling slightly he replies, "Good morning, I slept alright. How about yourself?" Cody takes off his mask and tosses it to next to him, then watches Elizabeth go after a mannequin which gives him a grin. When she asks him about the test he looks around, carefully seeing if anyone else came inside the training center. Since nobody else was he goes over to her and whispers into her ear, "I need to tell you something when we get an opportunity, I just can't tell you inside the school..I don't even know if I'll get away with telling you inside the forest, but this is too important not to tell you."

Evan had watched everything happen in silence. too many peple were there and so he had left while everyone was in the art room. He left and wandered through the halls in silence.

"I slept alright." She smiled, he always had a way of making her feel better. She continued to swing at the mannequin. Occasionally she would even drop down into a squat as if dodging a punch. She suddenly stopped as Cody whispered into her ear. A shiver ran down her spine, but she tried to keep her response hidden as she listened. She turned back to him with a worried expression. "Is everything ok?" She whispered back. Instinctively she took his hand, worried that something had happened to him or he was in danger. "Should we go outside now?" Elizabeth was ready to do anything; if it was important to Cody, it was important to her.

Holding her hand he caresses the back of her palm with his thumb, still looking into her eyes. He answers her questions quietly, "I honestly don't know. But I believe we should go now, we just have to act casual." Kissing her lips lightly he starts walking with her to the outside entrance. Cody wonders how she will react to him telling what their future entails while being here, and the fact they can't just leave makes it a huge problem for them. No matter what though he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Once they reached outside his paranoia went down, now that they were on open ground and he can't be easily surrounded by guards. After a minute or so of walking they reach deep into the forest, stopping at the spot they climbed the trees. Turning to her, he asks with a calm tone, "Have you wondered what happens to students when we graduate?"

Nori~


Nori was in the Art room cleaning up the paint explosion she had made earlier that day. Mr. Ozer had left a little while ago. Some mess Nori thought with a smirk I hope the guys got what they wanted cause if not, I just wasted a whole ton of paint...and my time Nori finished cleaning up the Art room and went to her dorm. I need a shower, I'm covered in paint Nori walked in to her dorm and made her way to the washroom. She stopped outside of the door. Mirror. There's almost certainly going to be a mirror in there. Get over it, it's just your reflection. Nori grabbed the door handle and turned it Open the door, open the door... Nori let go of the handle and walked into the kitchen. She looked under the sink and found a black garbage bag. She walked into the washroom with her eyes closed and felt around for the mirror. Once she found it she put the garbage bag over it, being careful to cover the whole thing and tried to stuff the edge of the bag into the frame of the mirror to hold it in place. Once she succeeded, she opened her eyes and smiled before taking a shower and going into her room to take a nap

Elizabeth grinned at receiving another kiss. She let him pull her along, under the trance of his affection. She looked around to make sure that no one was around as they disappeared into the forest. Seeing the trees, she smiled as if they were old friends. The memory of Cody leaping to catch her played back in her mind as they climbed up. Once high enough they sat on one of the branches. Elizabeth scooted closer to Cody, partially for stability, and partially just to be closer to him. He then mentioned graduating, her gaze quickly became one of confusion and suspicion. "Well I guess I thought we would've been released back into society, but now saying that it does sound a little far-fetched. What did you find out and how?" She questioned, examining his face for anything not said verbally.

Starting from the beginning of what happened he says still looking at her, "Well..this morning I was taking a break from working on my cardio when I stumbled across a few students talking the art teacher into breaking into the headmaster's office. The other students just wanted to find out about their lives, so they weren't too thrilled when I piggybacked them to get the information I wanted. But none the less the teacher aided us by creating a distraction, so we went in." Cody grabs her hand holding it, looking directly into her eyes. "Elizabeth, this school turns all of the students into soldiers, forcing them into branches of the military after graduation. And from what I read if anyone fights against it or are too weak to make the cut they will get executed. We're basically on an assembly line, that's why there are combat and survival classes." Cody continues looking at her, curious of her reaction. "On top of that one of the idiots ripped out a whole drawer from a filing cabinet, disappearing with it. I'm sure he hasn't returned it; so it will be caught on quickly people were in there."

Her eyes widened hearing that he and a bunch of other students broke into the Headmaster's office. "Cody, this entire school is covered in cameras! Maybe if it wasn't you could've gotten away unscathed, but now that it's obvious something is missing and things have been moved around all they have to do is review the footage and you're screwed!" Her hand flew to her forehead trying to think of someway to get him out of it, her other hand held Cody's tightly. "I don't even know how they punish students, but if killing each other is acceptable in the curriculum then it was be something as simple as detention." She pulled him close, hugging him tightly. "Was there anything else you saw when you were in there? Any other files?" She asked, her lips resting close to his ear.

"I know it wasn't a foolproof plan, but how many other chances would we have gotten before we graduate? After next year, I will either be in the military or dead." He responds, feeling foolish. Cody hugs her back, the feeling of her warmth and presence in general made him feel better. When asked about seeing any other files he shakes his head slightly with a sigh, answering, "No, I didn't get a chance to since the guy ripped the drawer out of the cabinet and vanished." After a few moments of silence he adds with a shrug, "I don't think there are cameras in there though, for some reason I have a feeling the headmaster doesn't want anything said and done in his office to be leaked or traced back into the school or outside world..I mean think of the reactions of civilians when they find out how many psychopaths are protecting their country. I guess I'll find out if I'm taken away in the next few days; whatever happens to me though Elizabeth you have to make it through this school."

"I don't think I'll do so well without you." She squeezed his hand. "So let's stay together no matter what, ok?" She looked into his lemon-yellow eyes, hoping he would agree. She didn't like hearing him say that there was any sort of chance of him getting hurt, killed, or taken away. Her gaze fell upon their hands intertwined. "I never thought I'd find someone I trust so much," She began softly. "But now that I have, I don't plan on losing you." She pulled her eye patch off before leaning in and kissing him tenderly. Her hand came to rest along his jaw as she pressed her lips to his, as if pleading for him to stay with her, to promise that no matter what he would always stay by her side.

Cody can feel his heart beat faster, being with Elizabeth made every worry he had vanish. "No matter what, beautiful." Scooting to where the branch meets the tree trunk he leans his back against it, pulling Elizabeth gently on his lap still facing him. Feeling her lips meet his, he kisses back in full wrapping his arms around her; keeping her close. After kissing her lips a couple more times he pulls back a couple inches from her face replying, "You will never lose me Elizabeth, I would fight an army if that's what it took to be with you." Continuing to look at her gorgeous eyes he feels completely content, making sure he doesn't take his time with her for granted.

She gently sat on his lap as he pulled her closer. Saying she enjoyed Cody's company would've been a complete understatement; Every moment with him left her feeling safe, each passing second no longer existed. She could stay there, sitting with him, for an eternity. Gently she rested her forehead against his, staring at the stunning person before her. "You will never lose me," she closed her eyes, but kept her face where it rested. "One day you will feel like you never knew me, and that all I am is a lie, but remember who I am and our time together. You mean everything to me, Cody." She planted a gentle kiss on his forehead.

The look in her eyes says more than words could ever, he only hopes he can return the same look because he truly adores her and would do anything to make her happy. "I hope that day never comes, because I don't want you to ever be just a memory. Now that I've met you I can't go back to the way my life used to be. You mean everything to me, Elizabeth." Nuzzling his face up against her neck Cody just enjoys having her in his arms, if only his time with her could last forever. "I never thought I would fall so extremely for someone in such a short amount of time, you're just such a beautiful person it's like I can't resist." Cody adds, a smile stuck onto his face like glue.
