"Okay then...well I guess the best place to start would be the classroom we were in. That was the last time I saw him myself." And with that being said he starts walking back inside the school, hoping to quickly find this lady's brother so he can go back outside. Looking back to her he notices she looks like she's about to shed tears, causing him to shake his head sighing. "Please don't start to cry..I'm sure we will find him around here." He says, motioning to her to follow.
Elizabeth sat down on the bench she and Cody had fallen asleep on yesterday. The thought made her smile as she looked around. Another lovely day, she thought. She then began eating, no longer being able to take the stomach pain.
Kyon wakes up from his nap at the ringing of the bell. He walks to his next class, Art, thinking that he will be safe from harm if there are no weapons there.
"I don't mind helping briefly, I'm sure he's around some where." He replies using a politer tone. After walking down the halls for a moment they find the survival classroom, Cody peeks inside looking at the faces of the other students. "I don't believe any of these people are your brother." He adds, moving back from peeking inside. "Do you two know where each others rooms are? Because to be honest I have no idea where he could have gone. You should be safe being around without him for now..just if you see a guy named Jacob be on your guard." He gently moves the girl's hand of his sleeve and starts walking away, waving a hand goodbye. Cody feels a little bad walking away on her, but he had his own interests to deal with. Walking back outside Cody notices Elizabeth eating a meal at the bench they have lately been frequenting, so he walks over to her and sits down, placing the book he took out from the library on his lap. He looks at her grinning, his arm cleverly going behind her and resting on the back of the bench; which basically puts his arms around her shoulders. "Hey again! You look comfy out here."
She turned at the feeling of someone sitting down beside her. She grinned as Cody put his arm around. She giggled as she responded, "More comfortable now that I'm not alone. So where'd you just come from?" She asked curiously as she continued eating. Occasionally she'd lick any food off of the tips of her fingers, still keeping eye contact with him.
"You remember that girl and her brother that came into the survival class? Well, she lost her brother and can't seem to find her." He answers, his eyes watching her raven black hair whip lightly as a slight breeze passes. "So, she asked for my help to find him. Which I kind of half assed it on her..but I'm sure she'll be alright." He honestly did feel a little regret just walking off on the girl when she seemed distraught, but he puts that to the back of his mind. "Anyways though, I had requested a Katana to train for our survival classes, do you have any knowledge or training about them? I picked up this book at the school's library to get some knowledge but I'm a visual learner." He finishes, motioning to his book about sword techniques with a katana on his lap with his chin.
(I have never welded myself, but I have heard it wasn't difficult. Granted the people saying it have done it for a while.)
Kyon draws and paints pictures of past events in Art class. He draws Jacob, the Survival room, and even the pistol. He also paints a picture of a convenience store. It the store stands a woman, a man, and a child. The woman is screaming, the child is holding a pistol, and the man is lying on the floor with blood flowing from his chest. In a separate painting, a beautiful scene of woods and two trees and a bench. In the trees sit a boy and a girl. On the bench sits a boy with a notebook. Kyon sighs and thinks about how he will make it through 9th grade.
"Well at least you tried to help. It's better than telling her to deal with it herself." She offered, seeings as it seemed to bring down slightly. She looked to the book on his lap and carefully picked it up. She flipped through the pages as he explained how he was more of a visual learner. She smiled as she looked up over the book. "The only thing I've had training in is how to use a screw driver." She laughed softly. For a moment she considered telling Cody what had brought her here-what she meant by the screw driver, why she didn't like people being brash or getting to close- but as she opened her mouth to begin talking, she closed it, deciding against it.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK!" Jacob cursed as he overslept in the forest. He ran down the hallway trying to find the art room. "I hope this works," Jacob whispered as he slipped a note under the art room door saying he wished to apply, but he didn't have a form. Jacob continued down the hall way listening to "Rich Kids" in his headphones. He goes around the corner to see girl in tears. "Um, M'lady, Are you okay?"
(Cody I saw what you said about me. I was dying laughing. I'm not always mean. Just to Kyon xD )
"Yeah, you're right." He responds with a grin, watching her flip through the pages of the book. Upon hearing her saying she has training with a screwdriver he laughs lightly, looking back up at her. "A screwdriver, huh? That is some pretty specialized training, want to show me some moves?" He asks with a playful tone, clueless to the backstory about the screwdriver. When Cody notices her about to speak then stop herself he wonders if she was going to elaborate on the screwdriver. Using the hand that's not around her Cody slips off his mask and drops it onto his lap, then looks at back at her eyes; a smile still present. "If you ever want to talk about something, you don't need to hesitate, I'll listen."
(Hahaha, Jacob makes me laugh with his resentment towards Kyon.)
(It's funnier when you realize i go to school with and made my character average insainty D because he's afriad of d's and up. once he realizes of course.
"Is she okay?" Jacob asked the new man,"I saw her in tears trying to find someone." Jacob knew that if he didn't want a gun to his head AGAIN, he would have to speak a little to everyone and try to care for them. Shivers went down his spine as he said extending his hand toward both of them," Hello, by the way, My name is Jacob."
Elizabeth smiled. Gently she slipped her fingers under her eye patch, removing it. "I don't think you'd want to see my screw driving skills." She said with a smile. She stared up into his yellow eyes, taking a deep breath. "I... I don't want you to pity me, or feel bad for me. I enjoy joking around, and I don't want you to feel like you're walking on egg shells around me." She examined the surrounding forest with a longing look in her eyes. "But I think you deserve to know." She stood up from the bench, leaving her tray on the bench. "I'll tell you if you're willing to listen." She stuck out her hand to him with a small smile.
His eyes follow her head, noticing her look into the forest. When she reaches out a hand he takes it and stands up, saying to her still grinning, "Elizabeth, over the time I have met you, you have come to be important to me. I don't jump from perfectly good trees to save any damsel in distress you know." Winking to her playfully he starts walking towards the forest with her, adding, "I won't pity you, or feel like I'm walking on egg shells when I'm with you. I'll just listen."
Elizabeth giggled, pushing him playfully at his damsel in distress comment. Looking shyly at the ground she spoke softly, "You're very important to me too." She smiled as he already knew that she wanted to be in the forest. They continued in, swallowed up by the silence. After walking a decent distance in to where no one would easily be able to spot them, she sat on ground. She patted a spot on the ground next to her with a grin, signifying for Cody to sit next to her.
(Okay so i have homework i was supposed to do earlier so instead of breaking the 4th wall AGAIN, We'll just say Jacob went to his dorm and slept after what ever they say.)
Hearing he was important to Elizabeth plastered a long smile onto his face, one not easily removed. Once they reached deep inside the forest Cody watches her sit down and pat the ground next to her, so he does so. Cody's very interested to hear what she's about to say, knowing in the end it won't change his opinion on her.
(Alright Obsever, see you later! Have a good one.)
She took in a deep breath, readying herself to reopen the wound. "Before coming here, I lived in a poor area, sort of like a hooverville, but slightly less shanty. Anyways, I'm an only child so I spend a lot of time by myself. My parents always told me how much they loved me, and how they wanted to give me a future better better then their's had been." She smiled, staring at the ground and thinking of her parents. "It was a pretty bad neighborhood and one day I wasn't home in time to avoid it getting darker," she paused taking in a ragged breath. "I was walking past a construction site right next to my house when these drunk guys came out of one of the alley ways. They grabbed me and touched me. " She pushed the words out as if they tasted bad being in her mouth. Her eyes began to water, though her gaze remained focused on the ground. "I wanted them to stop. It hurt, and I just wanted them to stop." Her voice became hoarse. "So I grabbed the screw driver and I gouged out one of the men's eyes." She wrapped her arms around her knees as tears slipped down her cheek. "I didn't want them touching me. I didn't want them hurting me. I didn't want it, I didn't want it." She shook as tears continued to trickle down her face.
Evan finished up his music class and headed out into the halls. (Hey guys if you could tag whoever your interacting with then people will reply sooner and this will be a lot easier for everyone. thanks!¡!¡)
He smiles lightly when she mentions her parents, imagining how they must have looked. I bet they are good people like she is, he thought. But as soon as he begins to hear about what happened to her he can feel anger begin to boil, oh what he would have loved to do those men for what they did to her. Instinctively he reaches over and wraps his arms around Elizabeth, pulling her gently into a hug. "Those pigs got what they deserved Elizabeth, I know you didn't want any of that happening to you." He holds her close, as horrible as he can imagine it must be to relive it, it could have done her some good. Maybe give her a determination. He pulls back from the hug, looking at her directly in the eyes and saying, "I'm sorry you were put through that with those disgusting shits..I wish I could sink a blade into their throats." When he says that there is no hesitation or emotion in his tone of voice, the fact of the matter is, is that he would go back in time and do it now if he could. "Now that I'm here I will never allow anyone to harm you, I promise."
