[Deadly Darkness]

"Let's go do something fun." She said cheerfully, taking Cody's hand. Elizabeth ran down the hall, dragging him behind her. Honestly she had no idea what she had in mind when she said 'fun,' but she figured she find something out along the way. After a few moments they found themselves outside. Releasing his hand, she smiled towards the forest before looking to Cody. "Up for a little exploration? Maybe even climbing a few trees?" A grin pulled at her lips as she looked at the tall coniferous trees.

 

[Dude]

Laughing, he runs along with her, his hand still holding onto hers. "Sounds good to me, what do you have in mind?" As he says that though he sees they were heading outside towards the forest, which answers his own question. "Great idea, I haven't been in the forest yet!" He starts walking eagerly towards the mouth of the forest, gently pulling Elizabeth along. He smiles, looking at her and asking, "Would you be up to finding the largest tree and climbing to the top to see if we can get a good view? I know eventually we will run into the fence but I'm sure we can find a suitable tree."

 

[Deadly Darkness]

Elizabeth grinned in excitement. "I'm totally up for that!" With Cody holding her hand they continued into the forest. Everything was swallowed in shades of green and brown. She inhaled deeply, taking in the cooler air. The trees silenced everything; some would call it an eerie silence, but she found it tranquil. Subconsciously she squeezed his hand, her head swaying slowly as if she was dancing to music only she could hear.

 

[Dude]

Breaching the silence momentarily he says, "This was such a good idea, I regret overlooking the forest initially." They continue pressing forward while looking around for a sufficient tree. After a moment he hears an acorn drop next to him from above which causes him to look up, overhead on the tree branches above is a fat squirrel who apparently couldn't hold it. "I've never seen such a chunky squirrel.."

 

[Deadly Darkness]

She let out a giggle, looking at the chubby squirrel. "That's so adorable, makes me want to hug him and squeeze him." Elizabeth gently let's Cody's hand go as she retrieves the acorn. When examining the tree, a good portion of the base was branch less, making it not the easiest to climb. So casually Elizabeth raise her jacket and shirt to her belly button, and undid her belt. Sliding it our of the loops of her jeans she wrapped it around the tree and began shimmying up towards the branch where the large squirrel sat.

 

[Kyon]

Kyon wanders the halls of the school, unsure of where the Survival classroom is located. He paces quickly, as he doesn't know what in this insane school is safe for him. He turns his head frantically, staying on his toes and looking out for any students that could mean trouble for him.

 

[Dude]

Since he doesn't have a belt himself he looks around and finds a tree next to the one she's climbing couple yards away with decent sized branches, so he starts climbing up. After climbing a ways up he stands up on a thicker branch, pausing his trek to throw his mask and hoodie down to the ground below. He looks over to the tree next to him and watches Elizabeth shimmying up and chuckles calling over, "You have some moves, that's for sure!"


(We're in the portion of the woods before the fence Kyon, just messing around if you want to find a way to RP in. )

 

[The Obsever]

Jacob comes around the corner and hits his shoulder off of Kyon. He quickly turns around and mutters something inaudible before turning to try and walk away.

 

[Kyon]

Kyon looks at the man that bumped past him. He notices his lips move but heard no sound. He pays him no mind and keeps walking quickly to his class. On the wall, Kyon sees a poster with the words "LEARN TO SURVIVE" written in bold print. His eyes glow as he feels unsafe and needs a few skills to help him "survive". The poster has directions that lead outside, so naturally, Kyon walks outside.

Elizabeth found a light blush cross her face again as she continued to climb. "Hush," She had to remain focused; if she laughed her grip would loosen and she would certainly fall, and falling wasn't really on her agenda. She watched Cody from around the tree. "Your idea was a lot smarter, more efficient." She huffed. She was glad he was so comfortable around her, seeing his face was always nice. A tearing sound quickly stopped her though, eyes wide. She quickly scanned for the nearest branch as the thin leather belt tore. With only a moment to react she pushed up off the tree, hoping to get close enough to grab one of the branches.

 

[The Obsever]

Jacob continues down the hallway until he finds a door to the outside. He takes a deep breath and speaks to himself very quietly. "Maybe this place won't be so bad. Nice forest nearby. I could get used to this." Jacob began to walk into the forest and saw people in trees."This is as far as I go until they leave." He whispered as he sat down next to a very large tree. Jacob takes out his notebook to draw and calm down.He sighs as he flips to a blank page and starts to draw the two in the trees.

 

[Kyon]

Kyon walks outside, following the directions shown on the poster. When he arrives at the location, he sees two people in trees and another person with a notebook. Oh man, Kyon thinks. Those people must be crazy. I need to stay away. Quickly, Kyon turns around and walks back to the building, hoping that he wasn't noticed. He sits on a bench just outside of the doors, alone. He is too scared to go anywhere he isn't very sure of.

 

[Dude]

Seeing Elizabeth starting to fall made his heart start skipping, he instinctively launches himself after her. During that flight everything seemed to go into slow motion to him, like he was in the Matrix. The only thing playing in his mind was the thought that he had to save her. He felt her body land into his arms, feeling some relief. In that split second Cody could tell the fall would hurt, he would rather see himself hurt however so he spins their bodies around, attempting to shield Elizabeth from any harm.

 

[The Obsever]

While writing, Jacob sees the girl fall and the man jump to catch her. He chuckles and says with a small smile" Okay, not my place, but this is too interesting to pass up." Jacob closes his notebook to check out the damage, and sees the kid he bumped into in the hall. "I'll be with you shortly, Sir." He whispered deviously

 

[Deadly Darkness]

Her stomach dropped as her hand missed the branch. The only thing that ran through her mind at that very moment was I'm going to die. Every image that flashed into her mind showed her snapping her back on a thick branch or being skewed or having a lung punctured by something on the ground. Suddenly she felt someone's arms wrap around her. She clung to the fabric of his shirt as she squeezed her eyes shut. "I'm so sorry," she found herself mumbling over and over until they struck the ground. As the dust settled Elizabeth remained on Cody, eyes closed tightly.

 

[Kyon]

Crap! He did see me, Kyon thinks. Kyon is afraid that if he runs away, he would get on the man's bad side. He doesn't want that. Kyon doesn't know their insanity levels, so he would rather not take any risks. Instead, Kyon just nod and forces a smile, all the while his pits are becoming moist with anxiety sweat.

 

[The Obsever]

"Well, this isn't normal is it" Jacob murmurs as he approaches the two "tree climbers." Jacob doesn't want to say anything so instead he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a water. He plants it on the ground and sits on the ground going back to drawing the two, this time in their current positions."A very calm and beautiful scene if I do say so myself" Jacob whispers with a chuckle.

 

[Dude]

He wakes up from being knocked out, unsure of how long he was out for. Immediately he feels Elizabeth on him and looks up, he tries to raise his right hand to touch her and see if she is okay; however he felt the beautiful jolt of pain shoot through his right wrist. "Shit, that hurts. More importantly, Elizabeth are you alright?" He wanted to say and do more, but honestly that fall kicked his ass.

 

[Kyon]

(Going to bed everyone. I'm off for tonight. I'll be back tomorrow!)

Elizabeth opens her eyes, looking into Cody's yellow eyes. She nods slightly, continuing to hold his gaze. "Thank you," she breathes out. Gently she holds his wrist. "Are you alright?" Her voice remains soft as she looks between his wrist and eyes.


(Night Kyon!)

Jacob finally finishes to see the two awake. Not feeling comfortable with the decision,Jacob spoke. "So you lived," he said,"That was one hell of a fall." Jacob laughs a little before asking "Do you two need some help, or should I leave you lovebirds how you are."

 

[Talon]

[Dude]

"I'll be alright, I don't think anything is.." He trails off, noticing the stranger who seems to be speaking to them. He gently moves Elizabeth off of him and attempts standing up, resulting in him staggering to a tree, leaning against it for support. He nods his head slightly, saying, "I think we will be alright, I can take a beating. Thanks though..are you new to the school? I haven't seen you around, then again I can be a space shot."
