[Krillin]

"I'm eight!" Says Sasori excitedly holding up his fingers.


"Sasori thats seven fingers." Says Kaneki eating.


"Oh okay. Then like this." Says Sasori now holding up eight fingers smiling cutely.

 

[Spotine]

Karen smiled at Sasori. "You're so cute!" She said before she took another bite. "You were right Kaneki this is really good!" She said. Karen was silent for a bit as she ate. She had really run out of all small talk she knew of.

 

[Krillin]

Sasori smiles at her comment as he starts eating. "Hey I really like you miss. And I know my big brother likes you a lot." Says Sasori.

 

[Spotine]

Karen blushed and nearly dropped her fork. She looked up at Sasori, then at Kaneki, then back to Sasori. "Well that's awesome Sasori because I like you too... And your big brother." Karen winked at Kaneki and then continued to eat as if nothing had happened.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki turns a dark shade of red. Sasori smiles as he writes something on his napkin and slides it across the table to Kaneki. Kaneki picks it up and reads it. "It said you should make her your wife. She is really pretty." Kaneki turns an even darker shade of red as he sets the napkin down forgetting to turn it over.

 

[Spotine]

Karen watched Kaneki curiously as he read the napkin Sasori had written on. Kaneki pushed it away from himself, but didn't turn it over. Very sneakily, Karen read the note. She made the mistake of taking a drink as she read it. Karen nearly choked on the drink, covering her mouth with both hands, her eyes wide. She swallowed the drink and looked at Sasori and then Kaneki. "Okay, no more flirtish cover up Karen. This just got real." Karen thought. She picked up her fork and twirled it around in her food. "So..." She said awkwardly.

 

[Krillin]

Sasori sent another note to Kaneki that said "She read the note." Kaneki runs is hand through his hair. "I am sorry about the note." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

"It's okay. I think it's cute that your brother looks out for you..." Karen said.

 

[Krillin]

"Yeah I guess but I don't really need help from an eight year old." Says Kaneki.


"Oh is that why you can't get a girlfriend without me here." Says Sasori playfully.

 

[Spotine]

Karen smiled at the brothers. It reminded her of Kyra and herself when they were little. The waiter came over with the check and Karen started to reach for it. She paused and looked at Kaneki. "Unless you want to pay?" She asked him.

 

[Krillin]

Sasori reaches and grabs the check. Then Kaneki grabs it from Sasori. "Hey I was going to look cool by paying for it myself." Says Sasori.


"Sorry Sasori." Says Kaneki handing the money to the waiter.

 

[Spotine]

Karen sat back in her seat, smiling. "You guys are awesome." She said, laughing quietly. She paused for a bit, not knowing what to say. "Well thank you for supper!" Karen said happily.

 

[Krillin]

They both smile. "Thanks and your welcome." They both say in unison still smiling.

 

[Spotine]

Karen looked at the brothers, mouth open slightly. "Well..." She said. She didn't want to leave, she had had a great time tonight.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki stands up and kisses Karen on the lips. Then steps back. Sasori covers his eyes. "Your so gross Kaneki." Says Sasori. Kaneki smiles and flicks Sasori playfully on the head.

 

[Spotine]

Karen was surprised by the kiss, but kissed him back. She smirked at him and Sasori. Then she put her hands on her hips and winked at Kaneki. "I had a great night, keep in touch." Karen said before kissing him again and walking away.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki smiles as Sasori crawls onto his back. Kaneki walks out of the restaurant and looks over and sees Sasori asleep with his head on his shoulder. Then Kaneki starts walking home.

 

[Spotine]

Karen started to walk home as well, thinking about the date she had just had. She smiled. Eventually Karen reached her hotel and went up to her room. Karen sat down on her bed and took off her heels. Then she flopped back onto her bed and stared at the ceiling. She looked like a middle schooler who had just spoken to her crush. In no time, Karen fell asleep.

 

[Draig]

"I wish I knew where Sakura went." I thought while playing with Basara.

 

[Spotine]

(Wooh! Jacob appears!)

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki takes himself and Sasori home and lays them both in bed. Sasori puts his hand on Kaneki's head in his sleep and Kaneki smiles as he falls asleep himself.

 

[Spotine]

(Time skip to leh morning?)

[Spotine]

(Morning!) Karen woke up, still in her dress from last night. She changed into a cute, tight t-shirt and high-waisted shorts. She threw on a pair of blue high tops and then headed out to town. Karen walked through the streets, half hoping to see Kaneki there. She reached Kyra's house and looked around for Kaneki, remembering that he said he passed her house every day when he jogged.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki was already running this time with Sasori by his side. He then turns onto Kyra's street. He sees Karen outside of Kyra's house so he stops to talk. "Hey Karen." Says Kaneki smiling as he and Sasori both take a drink of water.
