That makes sense. I hold a lot of respect for people in general, and I think it is worth being proud of everyone who has managed to make it through a difficult time. The human spirit can be very impressive.

It only seems weak because of the internal forces acting against it. After all, the mind can hinder a person from realizing what they are truly capable. That's why I think it's worth studying. Understanding mental blocks can make it possible to unlock how strong people really are.

That's really deep. I'm in AP psych this year, and I've basically decided the human is weird.

The mind is a very strange thing, and seems even more so the more you learn about it. The weirdest thing is how poor our memory actually is, and how the mind can actually alter memories and make up things that never happened, but we can remember them as though they happened.

Yeah absolutely. False memories are a very strange concept, since it suggests that the world may not actually be exactly the way that we remember it.
