Payton felt himself being knocked over onto the ground. He looked at the girl and how desperately she seemed to want to get out of the sunlight. He walked over to her on the ground, opening an umbrella over her head, "You dropped this back here." He handed her the umbrella, looking at her skin that was already starting to heal over. Jack looked at the girl with a somewhat scared look in his eyes, "That's the girl! That's the girl that bit me!"


Payton laughed slightly to himself, "If that's the case, then it's nice to meet you. My name is Payton. Is there a reason you were just walking around?" He held out his hand to the girl, hoping to help her up to her feet.

Payton laughed slightly to himself, "If that's the case, then it's nice to meet you. My name is Payton. Is there a reason you were just walking around?" He held out his hand to the girl, hoping to help her up to her feet.

Astra looked around in terror.


"M-My crate!"


She squeaked, trying to remember where she left her gift of blood. Realizing she was still with people she took Payton's hand and stood.


"I'm Astraea, a-and the sun hurts."


She looked at Jack in confusion.


"I bit you?"

Payton looked down at the girl, "The sun hurts?" The pieces in his mind clicked together, "I see. If you're looking for something it would probably be back the way you came from." Jack hid slightly behind Payton as he looked at the girl, "You'll have to pardon my friend here, he can overreact sometimes."


"This isn't an overreaction though! She really d-AH!" Jacck clutched his foot as Payton stamped back onto it. Payton smiled, "Can you carry the crate by yourself?"

Astra frowned, trying to think.


"Mr. Akeldama said I need it... I-I think I can get it."


She stood, fighting back the hunger in her system. Jack looked like a really nice target for the moment, with sweet smelling blood. Her eyes flickered back and forth from the slits before she shook it away. With a small smile at Payton she ran back into the sun to try and find her much needed food.

Payton sighed and began to walk home. At this pointe he was going to collapse as soon as he got home. Jack, likewise felt the same way, and began heading home in the opposite way.

Astra suddenly turned, eyes once again the cat like slits. Her wings flapped as she ran back to them. She slowly licked her lips and trailed after Jack, silent as ever. With a slight growl, she launched herself at his arm. She quickly tried to grab it as her claws came out to help hang on.

Jack heard something, silent as it was, and turned to look at what it was. Jack looked back at the girl that had now launched towards him. He began sprinting away, desperately trying to get away from this girl a second time. Jack kept looking behind him as he ran.

Jack heard something, silent as it was, and turned to look at what it was. Jack looked back at the girl that had now launched towards him. He began sprinting away, desperately trying to get away from this girl a second time. Jack kept looking behind him as he ran.

Astra ran after him, wings flapping as she tried to fly. The sunny day was burning her skin, but food was more important. She ran to the side, picking up speed as she ran. Finally she launched herself at his neck, hunger making her crazy

Astra hit the ground, blinking in confusion. She sat up and held her head. Everything was a blur for the moment. The most complicated thought she could get for now was 'Sunlight not good.' So she scooted away from Genos and into the slight shade of a tree. There she began trying to fix the wings she had landed on.


"A-Akeldama?"


She asked, looking around.

Ken would be wandering around the city once more where he had just gotten some yaki soba. From there he looks to find his next destination.

He rushed over to her, umbrella in hand and picked her off the ground. He held her close to his chest, "I told you that you need to make sure to eat." He held her close as he began to walk down the street, trying not to draw too much attention as he went back to the basketball court.

He glared one last time at the man, before turning and beginning to walk away. Akeldama looked down at Astra and whispered, "Are you okay?" He looked at her arm specifically for any damage.

"I want to stab him now... Can we do that later?"

Dama nodded, "We'll find someone for you to hunt. Someone with less fight in them. I just don't want you to get hurt going after someone you can't truly face off against." Dama walked into the basketball court and immediately saw the crate he was looking for. He walked over to it and then looked down at Astra, "Can you hold this umbrella for me?" His left hand brought down the umbrella near Astra.
