Lucien gave Iyzebel a slight push towards her bedroom, "Not my place to go through a woman's dresser. Go get some socks." Lucien said.

Lucien was waiting outside the door, rubbing his head like he was nervous or something, "They're dead..." He said without warning.

Confused at first Iyzebel didn't move, then suddenly a sheet of almost unseen dread fell away from not only her face, but her whole composure. Being filled in with a soft sense of relief. But she paused, clearly sensing his stress.

Confused at first Iyzebel didn't move, then suddenly a sheet of almost unseen dread fell away from not only her face, but her whole composure. Being filled in with a soft sense of relief. But she paused, clearly sensing his stress.

Letting out a deep sigh Iyzebel paused a moment before speaking up, "Lucien... I wasn't just some disgruntled child that didn't like her bedtime or didn't want to eat her vegetables... I had legitimate reasons for leaving. I might've changed a few things about how I did it, but given the chance I'd do it all over again."

Iyzebel started chewing on her bottom lip, her right hand rubbing the outside of her bandages on her left wrist.

"Well... not really I've lived in the streets all my life, she's the only girl I've really actually known..." Alex admitted.

She turned around and pulled up her jacket slightly, showing her back. Several scars scattered around, in that bright white slightly elevated old scar tissue font.


Most notable was a long scar diagonal along her lower back, a majority on the left of her spine. It was nearly a straight line, with small gaps like a perforated line.
