He is haughty, and can be snobbish toward people he feels are beneath him, and for him most people usually are. He likes to be the center of attention, coming across very gay, arrogantly comical and vain. He likes to manipulate people, uses his boyish good looks and proper upbringing to win people over, and when those qualities fail he is not above buying people for what he wants. He is a fashionista, he always looks his best decked in expensive designer wear.

BackgroundBeau comes from a wealthy background and has often been in the spotlight as a child. He is a celebrity of sort, as a model his face graced the cover of hundreds of magazines, which has given him some celebrity status world wide, but he is mostly known for being the spoiled Tiffney heir. His parents are Bo and Barbie Tiffney, of Tiffney Diamonds & Co., with an estimated wealth of 8-billions. He’s lead a very opulent carefree adventurous life.


Life was good until a few months ago when his parents died on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Their passing was devastating for him, he loved his parents. And it seemed the world mourn with him as the news became headlines across the globe. But more sensationally was tagging Beau as the richest bachelor, the spoiled brat and heir, the prettyboy of Tiffney Diamonds & Co. Then the legal battle over his parent’s business commence. Often pinned in the spotlight against his father’s business partner, Mitchell Eisenberg, a man determined to buy out the young “inexperienced” heir out of his inheritance. The battle between them came to a surprising stop when Eisenberg confronted Beau and told him that his father had revealed to him that Beau is an Evo — and is using this knowledge to blackmail Beau.


Beau has been forced to live in seclusion, comfortably, but without the full sum of his inheritance, and away from the spotlight. Unable to act against Eisenberg as the man prepares for an inevitable takeover of his father’s businesses. He feels hopeless and beaten. He fears for his life, and equally fears being outed as an Evo. He knows full well what it means to be an Evo, and fears what the government will do since he avoided having to register as one. His parents had all the influence and the money to pocket politicians and government officials, and even Eisenberg kept quiet as his father no doubt made sure of that — his parent’s protected him.


He considers his ability to be a sickness, a terrible disability that in a way is, for lack of better explanation, a curse. Beau, never been a person of strong beliefs, he doesn’t believe in fate, he doesn’t believe life is predetermined by someone pulling the strings of life. He doesn’t want to know the origin of things, he doesn’t care about such things. Instead he believes in weaving his own fate, and believes it is people that change while the world remains the same. He is determined to find a way out of his predicament, he must find a cure for his ailment in order to stop Eisenberg.


And just when he thinks life can’t get more complicated she walks into his life. The woman that seems to haunt his thoughts, the one person that claims to understand him and wants him to accept his condition. A woman that he cannot see, smell, or touch, and only hear in his mind. She assures him he is not loosing his mind, she assures him she is a real person, she assures him she is going to help him. But first he must find the others.

Power/AbilityBeau’s ability allows him to physically transform his body completely into organic diamond (identical to his normal form). In this form, he is translucent and retains mobility while being nigh invulnerable, and able to support incredible amounts of weight. Beau’s diamond form grants him superhuman strength. In this form, Beau is virtually tireless and has no need for water nor food. He is also numbed from emotion, pain and empathy, impervious to cold, and resistant to heat when in diamond form. Furthermore, in diamond form Beau has no need to breathe and does not produce fatigue poisons. And has invulnerability to all forms of light, and immunity to contamination, disease, electrical, and telepathy.


But despite such high levels of invulnerability his diamond form has a single molecular flaw, which if exploited — such as high-frequency waves — can cause his body to shatter.


Beau is not fully aware of the applications and capabilities of his power. For one he’s not had the chance to test his abilities, instead he spends most of his time trying to hide the fact that he has abilities, and considers his power a terrible illness. The one thing he knows he can do is change into diamond armor at will.

Yolandi is a pessimistic individual who tries to look at the brighter side of things but finds no hope in people. On the same level she has little faith in most authority believing power over others always leads to corruption, and dislikes them as well as any form of religion. She can be tactless, almost at a blink of an eye, showing lack of sensitivity in dealing with people and difficult issues, and is prone to be restless and can push things too far, especially when she wants to achieve an objective. She is intelligent and philosophical and has a strong sense of right and wrong as long as she’s in the “right”. Her honesty can sometimes be brutal, which hurts others and makes her seem as an extremely self centered person.

BackgroundYolandi was born into a pious household. Her father was a god-fearing rabbi, and held his family religiously to God’s Law. Her mother, like all good jewish women, remain in the background. She was close to her father, and he loved Yolandi very much, in spite of her hard-to-live-with abilities. She was an only child, as such, she had a strong sense of self at an unusually young age. It wasn’t so much an issue to her father that Yolandi was a modern girl, but that she accepted her place in the world and respect the traditions of her family and culture.


Yolandi grew up believing in the power of prayer, perhaps such beliefs were out of respect to her father and not solely out of a personal belief in God, but also because the act of praying almost always work. When she prayed for the dead bird, she found in her yard, it came back to life — she felt it, the energy of life return, the shift from cold to warm, and stared wide eyes in amazement as the bird wiggled its wings and flew away. She was so excited she ran to tell her father, of course he did not believe her.


This was the first time her father looked at her in disdain, called her a liar — it broke Yolandi’s heart to realize the man she admired most did not believe her. Angry, and determined to prove her honesty, Yolandi chased the house cat and with a surprising force broke the feline's neck in one quick snap. Her father, frozen still by what just happened, looked upon his daughter in disbelief and with great fear upon his face. Yolandi, kneel down beside the corpse of Mr. Whiskers crying, gently she lifted the lifeless animal and started to pray — she will resurrect it. She closed her eyes to concentrate, but her mind was a jumble of thoughts and images, she was unable to focus. She could feel her father’s eyes upon her, piercing her soul with his judgement. And she realized, as if for the first time, what she’d done. She held Mr. Whiskers tight upon her bosom, crying uncontrollably and said, “Don’t judge me, Daddy. I not lie to you...I’d never lie to you.”


The Rabbi felt a wave of emotion come over him, he felt guilt, he felt fear, he felt shame, he felt all the emotions of a scared eight-year-old girl. He rushed to his daughter’s side and wrapped his arms around her tightly, comfortably. Yolandi dropped the cat and held on to her father — at the same time both begun to feel calm, warm, a soothing comfort, a feeling of safety and love fulfilled them so intensely that they became overwhelmed with tears of joy and laughter. It wasn’t quite clear to him, the extend of his daughter's abilities, but he was sure that Yolandi was somehow manipulating his emotions.


He begun to question his daughter and soon enough he realized that she had told him the truth. He was able to help Yolandi tap into that mental state, through the help of prayers, and Yolandi was able to manifest her power and do amazing things. When word begun to spread of her ability people sought her out as a great healer. And Yolandi did as her father wished. When the government demanded all Evos to register, her father took her down to get her ID. When Evos gather at Odessa, on that fateful day, Yolandi was there with her father.


But who could foresee the event that changed the world — the terrorist attack that decimate Odessa, Texas changed everything. The body of Yolandi laid still in the rubble of the explosion. But a voice beckon her to awaken — It was “The Voice” that woke her out of unconsciousness, it was the voice that told her to heal herself, it was the voice that told her to run.

Power/Ability Yolandi has had years of practice to learn how to control her powers. With the help of “The Voice” she’s become aware of the full extend of her abilities. Hormokinesis allows Yolandi complete control over the hormones of others and herself, allowing her to freely alter and manipulate them.


Hormones are chemical released by a cell, a gland, or an organ in one part of the body that affects cells in other parts of the organism. In essence, it is a chemical messenger that transports a signal from one cell to another. She can alter the following effects on the body: stimulation or inhibition of growth, mood swings, induction or suppression of apoptosis (programmed cell death), activation or inhibition of the immune system, regulation of metabolism, preparation of the body for mating, fighting, fleeing, and other activity, preparation of the body for a new phase of life, such as puberty, parenting, menopause, and evolution, as well as control of the reproductive cycle, hunger cravings and sexual arousal.


Her power activates like an invisible aura that infuses the target, and can have an even more powerful effect if she touches target. With this power, Yolandi can alter her’s and other people's gender, either permanently or temporarily. The change is completely to cellular level. Additionally can heal people, remove pain, as well as reverse these effects on a cellular level.

Bellamy usually expresses no desire to act into anything, usually wearing a casual, bored look on his face. He seems indifferent towards everything around him and doesn't really mind blending into the crowds. For him life's too hectic to get involved too much. He's very blunt, sometimes a bit sarcastic too which makes him a bit hard to talk to other people. He prefers solitude as opposed to being out with people though he doesn't absoloutely hate it either. What other perceive to be apathetic about him he just sees it as "going with the flow" because he doesn't want to be noticed. Bellamy can also be kind and caring too when it comes to people he's close to. Around people he likes he can lighten up and he feels a lot happier. Though he does have a rather quiet personality at times he can be a bit eccentric and loud when he wants to be.

BackgroundBellamy was born in Lleida, Spain to both Spanish parents and lived there for the first six years of his life. He spent his early years on his grandparents farm - watching his parents help with the agriculture and crops such as wheat and barely whilst he would help pick the Tomatoes. His family didn't have a lot but he was content with living a peaceful life and days with his close family. Though he did occasionally get picked on for being a 'farm boy' and not wearing the same things as kids his age he still managed to get through. Then his father suddenly disappeared on the morning of his fifth birthday like he vanished out of thin air.


Of course Bellamy didn't know what was going on but was heartbroken when his mother came out with the "truth" that his father had left them in order to go to America and start a life there with a new family. Bellamy being young and not knowing of his abilities at the time believed her and grew to resent his father soon after as he wasn't in his life. Shortly after was when the incident happened. He didn't remember it clearly but he recalled waking up and seeing every street light blown out. And that was when at the age of 10 his grandparents decided it was time to give up the farm and move away from Spain, the place they decides to go to was New Orleans in Louisiana.


Being in New Orleans was fun for Bellamy and he felt like he could truly fit in but he he couldn't shake of the idea that somewhere in America - his father was there and at this point Bellamy only wanted to ask him why he left. So when he was 14 without his grandparents or mothers permission he began a search for his father and tried finding every document he could to see his fathers whereabouts only to learn that his father had been reported missing since five years ago. That was when the prominence of 'EVOs' began to rise, and more about them started appearing such as hate and people wanting to go against them. Bellamy knew that somehow he himself must have been an EVO and that somehow his father was linked to this too and he just had to find out how in secret.


Over the course of the last couple of years Bellamy had been learning to use his ability as he initially had absolutely no control over it before. He'd learned all the basics of controlling it but that was when it happened. When he turned 16, that was when the attack at Odessa happened and ever since then he's never felt so hunted than ever before. EVO's were being hunted and killed for their genetic differences to ordinary humans and that part solely alone made Bellamy decide to go into hiding however it hasn't stopped him from trying to contact other EVO's or try to find his father. It just made him more determined than ever before.

Power/AbilityUmbrakinesis is the ability to be able to manipulate darkness or shadows. He can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. Used alone, his darkness ability is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but by it can also be used in a different dimension too through dark energy it can be made to a variety of effects, both as completely taking out light and a solid substance. He can also control and manipulate the shadows to form things to defend him, create shields and weapons. But a main feature of his ability is being able to travel through shadow, through his ability of he is ever in danger he can physically travel through shadows (becoming part of the shadow) hence acting as a great system of defence.


Bellamy has mastered the basics of his ability such as being able to control shadows and that's about all that he has learnt. He hasn't learnt the full extent of his power due to the disruption and having to lay low to not come across as suspicious to people hunting down people with Abilities. Though his ability mostly let's him channel from darkness around him which could possibly a lack thereof if there are no shadows being created or cast. Also extended exposure corrupts and also hurts Bellamy too so he can't use it too much or for prolonged periods.

E'Claire is a terrified girl, constantly glancing over her shoulder to see if she is being watched. Although, she covers it up well during school when charming the pants off of her friends, or convincing the teacher for just a few more days to finish her 3 day late assignment, at night her mind is filled with nightmares of someone she knows realizing she's an Evo freak and reporting her to authorities.


Besides her paranoia of being called out on being an Evo, and her bipolar tendencies with people of the opposite sex, E'Claire is, to an extent, a very level-headed girl and quick thinking on her feet. She's hesitant when it comes to getting involved with anything that's dangerous or a tad bit too exciting, and would much rather pretend that there isn't this tension building up between mankind and Evos, but she's not a fool and knows that she can't hide forever. E'Claire is anything but reckless and has a tendency to go into "Scolding mommy" mode with those who are. She's a voice of reason, and is stubborn when it comes to seeing her side of things. One of the negative sides of her paranoia is that she's impatient to the point that her dislike for recklessness is disregarded for the need to take action. Her father is the only person that she truly trusts, although she desires to trust others and know that they accept her.


Charm is her natural defense mechanism that she developed without her powers, out of fear of being found out. In her mind, her reasoning was "It's better to be the girl with a whole bunch of "friends" than the loner girl who everyone stares at wondering "what's her deal?"

BackgroundE'Claire was born in the shelter of her home and grew up an only child for the majority of her life, her father was a head scientist in the medical lab and her mother was a teacher. Growing up, there were many restless nights when she could hear her parents discussing the growing appearance of Evos in the US. E'Claire would listen for a couple of minutes, trying to decipher their nonsense talk, before giving up and whining for her mother to read her a bedtime story.


Her life was normal into she hit the age of 9 when her little brother David was born. Her mother's water had broken in the middle of a supermarket and she'd immediately been rushed to the nearby hospital—although she had initially planned to have an at home birth, just like with Claire . E'Claire disliked the little boy and couldn't understand why her parents constantly hovered over him after he was born instead of playing dollies with her. The monitoring of her brother grew even more intensive in the passing months and E'Claire grew to despise him even more. One night before bedtime she made a particularly mean wish that her little brother would just disappear so that her parents would love her again.


What she didn't know was that her brother had been shown to have been an Evo when his blood tests came back from the hospital and he was already showing signs of abnormal abilities that were worrying her parents, or that they still loved her more than anything, but now the love was being shared with David.


By the age of 10, she had grown to tolerate and accept that her younger brother was here to stay and began to treat him nicer, playing games with him, and telling made-up stories about what their father did at work even though he was only a year old. He was like a little doll to her. By age 15 she was super close to her 6 year old brother and even knew about him being an Evo. The next year she suggested that her parents take their brother to Odessa on June 13, and originally they agreed —seeing as both of the two were all for Evo rights, but not to the point of getting directly involved— but then work came up for her father and they stayed home and compromised by watching it on television -something they were all content with, but then the bombing happened, and hours later their house was broken into in the middle of the night and her brother vanished without a trace. That was also the night that began showing signs of Evo powers; she was so worked up and heartbroken over her brother's disappearance that she barely noticed. Instead of telling her parents, she kept her powers a secret and hid them from both her family and everyone else.


Determined to live a normal life, she never used her powers until she was at home, locked up in the privacy of her house's basement and her parents were both off at work. E'Claire taught herself how to control them and then decided not to use them anymore -although sometimes she slipped up and did anyway- out of guilt of the wish she made so long ago that had finally come true... Her brother had disappeared, and her parents had focused all their love onto her with gifts, but not attention.

Power/Ability Besides the naturally enhancing of her own physically abilities; E'Claire's powers of Kinetic Energy Manipulation are focused on touch. She can control the potential energy of an object she come in contact with and change it into kinetic energy to strengthen an attack from a person or object. When she does this she is charging the kinetic energy of the object, and depending on the size of the object and it's amount of potential and kinetic energy she can make smaller objects (or objects that have large amounts of kinetic energy at the time she comes in contact with them) explode whether from the moment she touched it or when it comes in contact with another object.


When hit with a direct attack from an opponent, if focused, she can deflect the force of the attack back onto them. Due to the constant potential energy buzzing around in E'Claire's body from her powers, it is much harder for someone with psychic abilities to tap into her mind and she can subtly influence a person's thoughts (with great effort due to the will and strength of the mind) by charging the kinetic energy in their brains when touching them.


Without having contact with something, E'Claire's powers are rendered useless. Plus the larger the object, and the more potential energy stored in it, the more time, and slight zaps of her energy, it will take to charge.


The extent of E'Claire's powers presently is charging small objects so that they stun or make small explosions when launched at her opponents, redirecting the force of attacks, and in desperate moments, influencing other's thoughts so she won't be captured.

Scared of her own self, and sees her power as a curse. She is very quiet and keep her distances with people because she doesn't want to hurt them, or afraid that they will find out about her power. She's also scared of having friends, because if she became emotionally attached to them she will do anything, including revealing her power, in order to save them. Lie is very kind and good nature, she likes to explore, to find things that she doesn't want. Because of the accident in the past, now she keep distracting herself by doing various stuff in order to stop her self from doing stupid things and put both her and her grandma in the way of danger again.

BackgroundBorn in Guangzhou, China. Her parents knew that she's an Evo, just like them, after noticing how they occasionally unable to reach her when baby Lie cried. They then realize that some sort of transparent barrier is created around her. Before they could move fast to hide somewhere in South East Asia, Lie's mother Zhang Ji was caught by the Chinese Government. Lie's father, Takahara Kenji, quickly escape to a small town in Hokkaido and left baby Lie there with his mother while he tried to find and save his wife.


Lie grew up under the care of her grandmother, Takahara Mariko. She took a great care of Lie, but also forbid her to use her powers. She told her that it's a curse and that she shouldn't be using or even master it. However, without Mariko's knowledge, Lie often went to the forest and practiced her power there. One day, an accident happened at school, and 11 years old Lie uses her power to save her friends from danger. The townspeople almost caught her if it's not because of Mariko, who actually capable of teleportation. She teleported herself and Lie to Tokyo, where they hid under a false name. Lie is traumatized by the accident and believed that her grandmother's word are true.


Lie lived a quiet life under the false name of Takahashi Juri, enrolled in school in Tokyo and currently studying for to be able to get into a good university.

Power/AbilityForcefield


Her power allows her to generate a force field. It's almost transparent, it'll be hard to see it (Unless for Lie, of course). She can use it to for several usage. Most of the time Lie use it as some form of a shield, that can reflect attacks from another Evo or humans (like swords, bullets). It's still unknown how much she can actually withstand.


She can also use reshape it into some kind of a solid disc and throw it away at enemies or encase her body or hand with it (Especially to punch people).


Lie understood the basic of her power, and with more training she will surely become even better and might even capable of using her power for things that she did not know she can do before.


Her main weakness is still the fact that she has not mastered it yet. She capable of using it, but she still exhausted if she used it too much and the shield may shatter if she generated it long enough (And possible can't withstand a lot of damage at the moment)

He is not entirely sure what to think of his abilities, and tries to keep them concealed from others, even his closest friends, he is very secretive at times too, which can irritate others

BackgroundHe led a relatively normal life until quite recently, when he was giving cupcakes to an impatient woman who was starting to get on his nerves, his annoyance caused his powers to manifest, which caused her cakes to disintegrate. Fortunately no one noticed and the woman was sent out of the store for her rudeness. He still tries to live a normal life, using his powers as little as possible, trying to hide from the hunters and not be taken away and locked up.

Power/AbilityBasically, he can destroy any non living matter by touching it and concentrating. This can be very useful for breaking into places if needs be. However he cannot destroy living flesh or plant matter (dead plants and animals can still be destroyed) larger objects take longer to destroy. His ability also activates if he becomes angry or frustrated. Since he rarely uses it, he has not mastered them and doesn't know their full extent.

Dru is a smart and has been a busy person, then one day he accidentally cut off a finger in an accident in his home and before he could worry too much his finger grew back and a clone grew from the severed limb. After that he used his clone to help him get more tasks done then he could all by himself. He knows how to use his abilities and keep it on the down low.

BackgroundDru was a normal kid until his senior in high school. Once his powers awoke he decided to help himself with his powers to help himself. since then he has been using his clones to go to events and classes for him allowing him to keep up a busy social life. He often goes to visit his family and friends to do anything he can.

Power/AbilityAny time a part of his body gets cut off the appendage grows into a copy of himself while his injury heals fully. His clone has a small semblance of independence but overall they still listen to the root (Dru). He can always tell where they are as well as if they are hurt or not. When one of his clones die he can feel it. Dru can willingly let free a clone. Each clone is able to move independently if Dru gets sick or has an altered state of mind allowing the clones to possibly change sides. If the clones get hurt enough to be killed then they poof into sand, when they die all their experiences flow back into his mind.

BackgroundEllie was born to a middle class family living the Ontario territory of Canada. She grew up to love the various comic books, sci-fi and movies her parents would show her, having a particular liking to Star Wars and the character Darth Vader. Her childhood was filled with bullying and seclusion only amassing a small group of friends, and her grades were good enough for her. The final straw for her was when her parents divorced and she was left alone with just her mother. However around 15th birthday her powers began showing themselves to her as she began to see she could move objects with nothing but concentration and the movement of her hands. She was ecstatic at this discovery but she knew that the government was slowly cracking down on Evos and so she keeps it a secret. However in the wake of this discovery she has taken up meditation and self-defense training.

Power/AbilityEllie's power is the manipulation of matter around an object, organic or otherwise. She can use this to pick up and throw objects, increase the power of her attacks, stop incoming objects, pull object to her and crush objects. However the power is similar to a musle and her physical strength with the power determines the power of her ability. Calm and quiet Anansi is like his namesake and loves to read or hear stories. He is a person that would stand out in a crowd if it weren't for the fact that he is so quiet and nondescript. He is a very religious man but believes in voodoo and its powers making him superstitious as well. He is a devout believer in the possibility of a world where evo's and humans coexist in harmony but he knows that for that to happen he would need a strong catalyst for change.
BackgroundHe grew up in a small village in Haiti. He was raised in a very religious area, in a place that emphasized knowledge. Once word of people with powers reached his village he paid it no mind until the company picked him up and explained to him that he had two options, to either work for the company or to get locked up, never to return home again. Still new to his powers he accidentally erased the last week of his captors minds allowing him the time to escape and start the trend that would be the rest of his life until the bombing. He ran and stayed under the radar taking odd jobs and helping all those that he could. Now he is looking for a place to work and make the most difference.
Power/AbilityAnansi disrupts most powers when evo's are within 50 feet of him. That is a passive ability but if he knows a person is an evo he can either allow them to keep using their power or he can make it harder. The stronger powers take more effort for him to stop. If he is knocked unconscious his ability will falter granting everyone their powers back until he wakes. He can also put people to sleep and modify their memories. To do it effectively he needs to touch them but he can in times of dire need wipe out different increments of memory without touching a person it just drains him and works in an AOE. Lastly he can project his words into people's minds. It is like telepathy except he can't hear thoughts only choose to make his heard.​

BackgroundDrake was born into a rich family and has always had everything he asked for. Drake has always been a good person and a team player most of his life. His father was one of the biggest entrepreneurs in the country. When drake was eight-teen he enlisted in the marines and was dispatched after training to Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan Drake receives information that his mother was murdered and his father had mysteriously vanished. He was immediately allowed to return to take over his fathers company which was in danger of being bought by another company that's been trying to purchase it from his father for years. When Drake returned he was faced with many challenges. He had a struggle with the companies lawyers to let him take over as rightful heir. Then came the public saying a kid was not fit to run a multi billion dollar company. Now its been a year Drake has searched for his father but running the company has not let him leave the office. Drake has decided to leave his uncle in charge for now as he takes the search int his hands.

Power/AbilityDrake has the power of Pyrokenesis, meaning he can manipulate and create fire. Drake has been aware of his abilities his whole life but he has never used them because of his father not wanting to register him as an EVO. This means that Drake has absolutely no control of his abilities and does not know how to use them other than them he has his marine training to help him only.

Cal is far from antisocial, but also far from social; he's in the middle. He sticks close to what or who he knows and distances himself away from that he doesn't. Coming off as calmly serious, but ending up curt with plenty of retorts to simple questions, Cal can seem a bit of an asshole. It isn't meant to be that way, in fact a certain sweet exterior is reserved for his closest friends and of course his family, but his actions and demeanor normally tell off onlookers or people who become too curious. The less people that have a chance of knowing him and finding out his freak abilities the better. More of a follower, or at the most a sort of 'co-leader' than a full on 'top-of-the-heap' kind of guy. Never taking interest in sports, not that he'd be bad, never pursuing class presidency or anything higher than student level responsibility. He's very loyal though in the end, if someone can influence him in a direction that isn't bad, one that doesn't have to be entirely justifiable in the eyes of the law; he can be persuaded by those he is loyal to very easily.
Background

Cal was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to an Inuit descendant and a Nebraskan botanist studying some non-native cacti. A mother that was hesitant to leave her home did so just for the well-being of her son, and when the research was over Cal's father shuttled them to his home near Creighton University. When they finally wed, the father took the mother's family name as well as his own dubbing Cal with the last name mouthful of 'Kappiataitok-Weber'. His name was obviously shortened to Cal, or by his childhood friends: CK. While he did like the occasional plant, and he thought his heritage on his mother's side was cool his love for automobiles became his not so distant future. On his tenth birthday he helped purchase a small low to the ground go cart with money he saved by mowing lawns around his neighborhood. He spent hours on it afterwards, day by day he'd turn it into something new; upgrading it as he called into a beast. He'd race other kids, do daredevil stunts that warranted more than enough injuries; his go cart was always repaired during these incidents though, by him much to the chagrin of his parents. Alas one stunt was too much for the poor motorized vehicle of fun, and it ended up in the junkyard.

Years later, when he turned eighteen he could afford his own car. His first? After all the vocational classes he took, and how much interest he had in turning an engine over that once upon a time was just a rusty piece of junk; a 1978 Dodge Stepside. A wonderful machine that went to him with college, Creighton obviously, his father being a botanist as mentioned before actually did regular research for them on medicinal plants to explore...Whatever. It never truly drew Cal's attention. He could admit that his love for nature conflicted with his polluting truck many times, but it was cool over careful. At Creighton University he found a bit of interest in Mechanical Engineering, which was one of his main chosen courses aside from the major subjects that were required. It was around the middle of his second year in college that things started to happen. The powers he just so happened to discover.
Power/AbilityThe ability to absorb any solid material and form a perfect bond with the particles that make up the density, texture, and other properties of said material. Once absorbed he can apply it to the point of his body where it was, and then shift it around or even add on to it until it covers almost his entire person; leaving his eyes, ears, orifices, and internals all untouched by the physical 'mutation'. While he takes the density of the object he can also nullify most of the gravitational pull on the atoms that make up the substance or substances, but he is considerably slower depending on what material he took upon himself.

For example; if he were to simply absorb the particle make up of steel by touching something made out of it, like a rebar or support beam, it will keep Calvin's own body weight so he can carry it without being overencumbered, but even then he isn't as fast as if he would say take something lighter, such as light metal consisting of aluminum or titanium if he were ever able to get into contact with it. Being coated in another substance can be dangerous for extended periods, as the particles may not stay completely balanced, the more free flowing the particles a material has using the aformentioned titanium as an example; will begin to bond with Calvin on a cellular level permanantely. While he hasn't tested out the overall time it takes for this to happen, he received a warning about it which was more than enough to notice it's danger.

Higher density metals are more inanimate than the atoms of titanium or aluminum making them bond slower or have the longest usage time. When he has coated, or bonded in coexistence with a material that is of conductive material he is susceptible to stray lightning, electricity, and other forms of electron surges; he can withstand small voltages, and feel a tingle as it rises; however he becomes a human conduit if a powerline or an actual lightning bolt is involved. He can remain relatively unharmed, the type of material and time it has been bonded with him all factor in. All in all, Cal can control this power, and knows his limits; he isn't sure how many materials he can absorb but he has verified that almost all metals are vulnerable to his powers. ​

Background


Aeda was born in NSW Sydney, Australia to a Central American mother and a Cyprus father. She grew up a healthy child and was already very smart and aware at a young age. As she grew up in the city os Sydney, she attended the best schools ((Primary and Highschool)) and was awarded many things. Her parents had money, big money, due to investments and her mothers company, so it was normal really for her to have the best things in life. She had always had an apt for technological things and enjoyed hacking as a passtime. Having money meant that she could get her hands on all the things she needed, mostly whenever she needed it. Her mind was, and still is very vivid and wild, and always open to new ideas, much like her mother. She never grew up wth a sibling, but she had plenty of good friends to keep her company. And, she was, yeah still is, a hug Gamer and fan of a million Fandoms. Meaning, loot all round.


When Aeda entered Year 8 in highschool she was 14 and turning 15 the next year. She was recognised on her social media's and Total Girl magazine she once modelled for and a few modeling companies became interested in offering her some shoots, dollars, and a few contracts. She modelled on and off, staying within Australia and leaving once or twice for America, which were the only times she had been overseas till her current status. Aeda continued through Year 8 and then Year 9, modelling and excelling in her studieds, ICT and IPT becoming her electives. Then alot changed in Year 10.


When Aeda turned 16 in May of that god damned year, she slowly began to feel different. She was a little less outspoken than normal and computers and mechanism's were all she really thought about besides her Maladaptive Dreaming. Friends questioned her, even her loving parents but Aeda was always confined. Then one day it came.


Aeda was at a very good friends house fo her 16th birthday party, and having a quiet time, well as quiet as it could get when you were DJing. Her friend, who's name was Kate, had hired a DJ, but he was taking a break. Aeda smiled as everyone danced away to the beat of the songs, the high of the party in full swing. When suddenly she fell. An invisible force pushed her back ith an oomph and the music, the lights, even all the electrical machines and plug-ins shut off. ​

Power/Ability​

It is currently unclear how this ability helps Aeda to avoid being seen, though it is evident that there is some rearrangement of her body's molecules. Invisibility seems to be a passive ability which can operate constantly without effort or concentration, although it can also be "turned off" at will by Aeda, and visa-versa.

Users of this ability are not invisible to eachother; If Aeda were to encounter another with the same ability she would see them and they would see her, just as clear as the other. A weakness if the other was against her. Though Aeda has never met another Evo like herself, and she has met very few as of yet. Her ability allows her to see what would otherwise be invisible to the average person, and this is what would allow another with the same evo to see Aeda in her invisible form.

It is unclear whether her ability also hides sound, but it appears that it does not. It may be easy to hear Aeda's footsteps in a quiet environment, but light steps would need the purest of concentrations it seems. Aeda has had experience no doubt, but she has also mastered her stealth. On a daily basis she tends to make no noise, or makes more than usual ((for herself)) so as not to seem that out of place. While users of this power are invisible to normal sight, they can be detected using infrared imaging devices. This is yet to be applied to Aeda. If she were running in the rain, the rain would hit her and make an outine, unfortunately. She would need a phasing ability to surpass that. Also, it is estimated that a number of 10,000 volts, be it out of a tazor or electrical cable, would be able to render someone like Aeda visible again, and very hurt and pissed off.

Lucky for Aeda she does not produce a shadow when in this form, this is an extremely great plus to go against her weaknesses, which so far, seem to outweigh her strengths.

Aeda also possses capabilities, like sides to her Invisibilty, or skills, that she can harness as well as going unseen,

Aeda can infuse objects ((for example the clothes she is wearing, backpack on her, objects etc)), beings or powers with invisibility, empowering and energizing them and allowing the user to manipulate their qualities and efficiency. But this only applies to objects that she touches with her bare skin, as she does not want to give her power etc, plus there is no-one else with her specific evo.

There is also the common partial Invisibility, wherin Aeda can make specific parts of her body turn invisible at will, or even make herself only transparent and see through for as long as she wants at will. This can also be known as Cloaking.

Last but not least, Aeda also incorporates what most would call Invisibility Combat. It basicly means Aeda kicks ass while she is invisible and uses her martial arts and street fighting skills to take down an enemy without them even seing her. Of course she needs to be quick and even lethal, quiet too and always light on her feet. Because someone smart could anticipate even an invisible girls next move.
