I've actually decided on no posting order unless you're engaging with another player and plan out a series of posts between yourselves. If not, I will not pursue a posting order, simply so that people don't have to wait every time for others to post first. However, I will encourage a level of organization between posts. XD

Hello! Good question to ask actually. So, to clarify, the world where the rp takes place in is actually a world mostly occupied by humans. It is monsters that are the rarity, often blending into the human crowds with their shimmers.

A human student is not unheard of though! In fact, humans with the ability to wield magics are actually given safe haven in monster communities as well. Since humans that can wield magic are considered inhuman by their non-magic wielding kin, they are welcomed with open arms by monsters, especially after the witch hunts of the past that led to the deaths of many magic capable humans.

Sorry, yes! I like the character. I can appreciate a unique form of magic as well. One that utilizes medicinal properties to create enhanced healing. This kind of magic could be considered a physic magic, but perhaps the faculty of the academy will take time to ponder the nature of Felicia's spellwork.

What are the magic categories the RP has again? Also will humans need a conduit for their magic, or in other words a magical item? (Wannds, sigils, runes, spellbooks,etc?)

Categories fall into ritual magic, illusory magic, physic magic and enchanted magic.

Ritual magic falls into the cryptic side of magic. Communion with the dead, curses, blights, fortunes. One could even go as far as necromantic practices, but such magic is forbidden as there is no need to raise undead in human territories. Some ritual adept creatures may accidentally raise the dead due to emotional alterations, so classes are provided to help them control such slips.

Illusory magic is a more commonly used magic in such modern times. Memory alteration, illusion spells, revealing magics, hypnosis effects. Some races even have a latent hypnotic effect to their being. Pixus, for example, have a hallucinatory effect to their hair. It often explains why many Pix seem to be in the center of attention.

Physic magic is about as it seems. Control over the physical. Levitation spells, the ability to alter the flesh of the living. Some people can use their magics to appear as others or even another species. One who is keen on biology may even know how to disrupt the body's processes to force someone to pass out, like forcing a halt or slow of the blood flow inside of another.

Enchanted magic is the ability to bestow properties to objects. It seems like a particularly dull magical aptitude, but when one is skilled enough, they can apply properties to even the air. They can create a door one cannot see that leads to an entirely different place or even somewhere that should not exist. A realm that is under control of the one who created it. These realms are entirely limited of course, but provide many opportunities. It is especially useful for authorities to discretely transport monsters not utilizing their shimmer. Like a portable jail cell.
