Today was the day, a very special day: the anniversary of his greatest achievements. The day he freed himself, and all the other Divine Gods from their father while his power was at its peak. When everything aligned itself perfectly in Lucifer's favor. Even in this realm that was supposed to imprison him and confine his power, this day allowed him to use some of that power once again. It was the day he slew his father, the day the Judast Family was formed, and the day he watched one of his greatest mortal enemies meet their natural demise. And to celebrate such a momentous occasion? He would yet again show the city - nay the entire world and remind them all of who he truly is...
Lucifer purposefully ignored the disturbing sounds of chattering bones and cracking bones, knowing that it was simply Nacht doing exactly as he had asked of her all those years ago and used the little time he had left to himself to gather the last of his thoughts for preparations on the nights festival.
Lucifer was by a large glass frame/window that looked over District 666 with the expression of a disappointed father as the two embodiments that remained loyal to him entered his chambers.
"Beautiful morning, isn't it?" Lucifer said, acknowledging the Embodiments presence without breaking his gaze from overlooking the district.
"It pleases me that you succeeded in bringing Moses back to me. Moses...It disappoints me that you have allowed Jackie to escape and Six to run rampant...This kind of failure I usually do not tolerate, but I have chosen to forgive you in light of a new vision I have for the two of you." he slid his hand back over his hair, and turned to face the Embodiments and look into their eyes "Those two have made a grand mess of things, and with Thaddeus now dead without the prospect of a potential replacement...I will be making it your task to not only rectify the crimes of your former brethren but to also find potential candidates who would be suitable as replacements..."
