I was reading over this. overall i actually am very interested. but i wanted to know a couple questions.
1 is it not to late.
2 are the nephilim basically winged humans and can fly but otherwise have no advantages besides age.? and does it matter if i pick a winged human or a nephilim?
3what management and team mission tactics do you plan on using? will i be mindless questing? Mission boards? Assembling a guild which an NPC directs the players on? is it free for all? Will you dice roll some missions to mix up the fate of players or coin toss certain attacks in boss battles to ensure an even AND SOMEWHAT luck aspirated battle? I know the future of an rp is only as successful as the manager that runs it. i want to join a roleplay but im having a hard time trying to find one with guidelines and management i was looking for, now hopefully i can find what i am looking for haha. but this rp shows promise. basically the different worlds are all going to come together i presume onto the human world?

Merciless I can definitely see this rp being very long lasting unique and almost never seen in the genre before. the more im looking at it the more i am starting to like it. I think there will be a possibility that i will be either doing one or 2 characters. Im debating on a male of female, then what species.(siren or winged folk) then i am trying to see what genders. and then on top of it i want to debate how i want my chara. possibly do two. Please PM me I am open to some charcter pitches in those 2 areas this way we can properly find what the most logical and creative route would be. i already have some archs in mind for the rp as well. perhaps get this a well designed good quality rp.

3. i'd say this is more of a free-for-all, and from what i can tell, we have no intention of using dice. i think we're going with more of a trust-based system where people know to balance their characters and know that the goal of this rp is more to create a vibrant and exciting story with different twists to it v. trying to make your character come out on top (which would honestly be v boring imo). the best we can do to check that people will be fair is by rules of the rp that will later be established afaik + in the character making process. so as i see it, it's almost entirely up to the individuals what direction they want to take with their characters. you decide where your characters belief lies in the conflict and decide for yourself what they're going to do with that.

that being said, i, and perhaps other rp members in the future, have been trying to create a character or two that can help properly engage other members/their characters and create new roles within the rp that can be filled. for example, i put in the backstory of the character i have up right now that he has something of a group of followers esp consisting of mages and knights that are following his lead as a religious leader. clock has volunteered to make a religious zealot to follow him uwu and so i definitely plan to work with clock to help give them something to do. also just by virtue of my character's role as a high court member, he has some p good influence over x geographical location(s), and without giving too much away, there will probably be changes to whatever area he resides in kind of because of that. (all of these things ive just been announcing/making offers to people by mass tagging so far lol. also have a discord server now where we have a channel for plotting so that's another possibility.) i don't think a mission board is a bad idea (i'll probably imitate something to that effect), and maybe we could try something like that? but afaik that wasn't in the current plan and i dont think Right Now that the rp was going to sponsor any particular missions or w/e necessarily. i hope that makes sense what im saying.

also for your last question, if im understanding you right, not necessarily? its mostly just that the human realm has gotten itself into deep shit and the winged folk are largely trying to take advantage of that as an opportunity to "wipe out a lesser species." demon and merfolk realm dont really have any particular involvement, though. just individuals.

Yes, they do have (slight) advantages beside age.
- They are way tougher than humans (more bodily advanced I’d stay: faster, stronger (not as strong as demons thou), harder (physic: skin, immunity etc), better (thx Daft Punk)), can fly and unlike humans can have special powers based on holy magic, wind and/or gravity. You can play around with these powers but don’t go too OP :]

Well ... not exactly. Like Pine said, this will be pretty open world. Yes, there will be a plot but imagine an open world video game: you can have side quests and the options you pick throughout the RP could possibly affect the outcome of the plot. I’ll try to streamline the RP as much as possible, hence why I asked some people to take on certain roles or combine their character with a plot idea. (The classic all roads lead to Rome)
It will basically be free for all (MMORPG, anyone?), I’m not closing the possibility of a guild although I think that the High Court or the Inquisition could play that part for the human realm.
And not necessarily, not alle the occupants of the other world have to go to the human realm. The other realms have their own problems that role-players can dive into. This is for the beginning of the RP though: we start with the living problem in the human realm but throughout the RP the problem will spread out to other planets. The end game for now is Purgatorio but as I said everything could change through the actions of the players. I am predicting players to leave or fall (die) during the game so you’ll see that this RP will develop some main characters along the way on whom I will focus for the plot. This means that every character could end up as a main character no matter their power, species, positions etc. The only thing certain are the G'alaxies, they will be an important asset in and for the RP.

I will start the RP once we have 10 CS that are finished. I don’t see a point starting it before we have at least that many. Currently we have 5 (not counting mine) that are finished. As I’m pretty lenient with the basics in the CS, I would suggest to at least do the basics: you can always fill the CS with more information as the RP progresses.

Ok solid. I see a ton of potential i guess I just need a bit of guidance and some basic knowledge on the world this is and how the world is being implemented into the rp. I want to join. my only issue that im trying to create a great unique fun character(s) that willl be a great vibe for the players i dont know what yet lol im going to do some chara building any ideas on a needed chara definietely a siren or a winged folk

if it makes you feel any better, there definitely are plans to add/organize more information about the roleplay in the future! is there something specifically that you want to know about the realm(s)? i think i have a p decent understanding of what's going on with earth right now.

honestly, i'm not sure about sirens? merfolk in general are kind of the most hostile out of the different species. their realm has been in a civil war for at least a few decades now iirc. i'd imagine something to do with a siren would be tied into the political situation in that realm. im sure that there would be plenty of reason for wanting to go to earth, like wanting to escape the war, maybe pick on some weakass humans, and/or just enjoying that nice ~70% water surface.

as for a winged folk, right now there's a p decent-sized movement among the winged folk to take advantage of the conflict in the human realm and use this opportunity to try to wipe out a "lesser" species. the best systematic method of thing right now might be via earth's religion of what's more or less angel worship, firmitas, especially the extremist sect nunem-obsequium (this is expanded on in the last spoiler on thaddeus' cs here). so maybe your winged folk could be trying to in some way influence this growing religion/sect? or in any case, followers of this religion would be your character's better ally, since a lot of them practice a compulsory housing of angels. maybe if anyone ever takes up making a human character that follows firmitas, you could have your character be staying with them? (optional to lowkey be plotting the demise of the human race during that time lmao.) there also is the incentive of disrupting the ascension process so earth has no solid government a.k.a. Mission: Let's Kill All The Heirs. (and not to be too spoiler-y, but there might be some increased hostility towards winged folk on the horizon whistling emoji so that should be fun to play around with.)

unfortunately as far as specific character roles to fill or w/e, i dont have any current ideas for sirens or winged folk. however, i do hope knowing a little more of the current/upcoming situation will help kick some creative juices in gear? i'll let you know if i think of something in the future orz

this sounds like a good idea. what about in terms of wanderer. i think i want to make the character a wanderer. perhaps a free roaming character that wanted to come to earth for a reason outside of political or warfare related agendas. Im thinking maybe along the lines of honing archery.perhaps seeking a demigod on the earth whose known for archery. perhaps escaping religion.....i think the religion might be a good idea considering the winged folk have a religion on their home planet. I want my chara to have an outside reason for coming to earth. ideas are welcome

hm.....let me reitterate this.
I come to earth. as a winged folk. the human world created a religion around these angel beings. thus being seen as something angelic, god resembling.(If im translating you correct) I apologize this rp has alot of information as well as alot of possibilities so im wrapping my mind around the worlds layout.
So perhaps my characters reason for visiting earth is more selfish. Perhaps. paradiso is no longer viewed as a home to him/her. perhaps committed crimes against the government there and was forced to flee her/his earth. as a result there is no sense of purpose other than freedom on earth. not that my character is bad or evil. maybe moreso along the lines of being forced into a situation where he/she had to kill or break the law. Thus heading to earth. perhaps my character is seeking a peaceful new life trying to walk away from the old past that he/she was forced into. but along the way gets forced into a new path on earth...??

either way, i myself havent been too involved in developing paradiso, but from what i can tell, that seems like a very possible scenario? the angels are pretty stuck-up so i imagine their rules are very strict. as for what exactly would be that illegal activity that got them on paradiso's shitlist, i can't really say for sure. HOWEVER yeah they could be trying to start a new life on earth but then gets caught up in this growing controversy about winged folk just, well, existing, lmao. i think most of what would be lift to think about is what EXACTLY they want to do on earth. either they have some sort of occupation in mind (which could probably be anything thats common in medieval settings) or just..... trying to learn more about earth to know what they DO want to do there. (but then hohoho religious conflict comes along for the sake of dRaMa. also in general that earth is NOT at peace and even without the angel worship thing there's still the whole drama regarding the heirs to be concerned about getting caught in)

But okay very quickly: Paradiso is literally a Paradise, the system is like totally perfect and angels are ‘totally perfect’ too (strict rules, everyone follows them). There is no corruption, not a lot of crime etc. in the population (very strict punishments and law system). BUT the winged folk are NOT angels/nephilim. They are people with OTHER (coloured) wings. So there is discrimination (wingcism basc) going on in Paradiso --> more like WHITE angel wings are the top brass (royal families) and any other kind of wings are lower class/mud bloods/working class etc. The whiter the wings the purer the blood (purebloods). Otherwise for winged folk any type of wings are also possible (canary wings, parrot, etc). You could play with that for your character: tired of unfairness, discrimination etc. (just because they were like born with black/grey wings, why can’t they get a high position job etc?)

Earth is more accepting towards things like that so yeah. That could be a thing?

Ok now we are getting somewhere except one catch. I would like my character to have broken a law. i am welcoming of unique creative ideas. however. i would like to have him/her have a criminal background. but we can do perhaps a robin hood complex. stealing and killing the rich and corrupted for the poor(him/herself to create a more equal paradiso.) perhaps after being hunted down, wounded he/she decides its time to centure to earth

another question is how does each world get to earth?

here's another, alternative idea though, if you DO want to stick to the robin hood thing. on earth, in the desert city horizonia (information is here but the code is not working now on the site as i type this so please bear with us for now, but you can read the information there if you quote the post and look in your textbox) there is a HUGE class difference. <10% of people have all the wealth and get to be in this nice developed city under the protection of a mages barrier. all the poor people have been pushed into slums outside of the inner-city barrier. coincidentally, the slums of horizonia is also where firmitas, the religion of angel/paradiso reverence, is most popular among humans, and the people there have been actively seeking help FROM the angels for a new system of government/whatever else. so basically you have this perfect situation for your person to come in and be asked for help and they could do the whole robin hood thing by stealing from the rich inner-city and giving to the poor in the slums. (bonus: inner-city has been trying and failing to force the outer-city to convert to another religion, imago, in recent history.) that's a crime, though one committed on earth. maybe your character could flee to another realm later on.

but as for how you travel between worlds: magic portals. (there is also a city on earth specifically for intergalactic travel, synthetica)

here's another, alternative idea though, if you DO want to stick to the robin hood thing. on earth, in the desert city horizonia (information is here but the code is not working now on the site as i type this so please bear with us for now, but you can read the information there if you quote the post and look in your textbox) there is a HUGE class difference. <10% of people have all the wealth and get to be in this nice developed city under the protection of a mages barrier. all the poor people have been pushed into slums outside of the inner-city barrier. coincidentally, the slums of horizonia is also where firmitas, the religion of angel/paradiso reverence, is most popular among humans, and the people there have been actively seeking help FROM the angels for a new system of government/whatever else. so basically you have this perfect situation for your person to come in and be asked for help and they could do the whole robin hood thing by stealing from the rich inner-city and giving to the poor in the slums. (bonus: inner-city has been trying and failing to force the outer-city to convert to another religion, imago, in recent history.) that's a crime, though one committed on earth. maybe your character could flee to another realm later on.

but as for how you travel between worlds: magic portals. (there is also a city on earth specifically for intergalactic travel, synthetica)

my hardest time is making my character have a place to fall into. i guess what i can do isnot reveal the reason why my chara has left paradiso. just leave it a mystery and let the plotline begin to take hold of the backstory of my character.
the robin hood idea is ok. but how are we going to implement our characters meeting and such? will that take a long time of 1x1 rping?Orare we going to focus more so on basic plot development for the beginning and then make the rp open up more with meeting other characters and such??? Pine
