Fantasy Hawthorne Academy

Rai-Chan updated Hawthorne Academy with a new update entry:

What's Going On #2

From your lovely Vice-president your next school update!
It seems the excitement of the student's is rising! While the students were unpacking and getting ready we had a few run ins with people. Nothing drastic though.

-Most of our student government helped students with their way to the dorms and around the school. Making new friends in the process!

- Lyra and John seem to be getting along. Maybe a little too much.

-Matt and Emily met in a very clumsy way. Maybe even starting a...

Veronica looked into the deepset, beautiful eyes of her friend Lyra. And felt her warm kindness emenate from her. She looked to her left and right, making sure no one was looking at them, and then as best as she could while sitting, hugged her friend. "I'm so sorry! If I was ever jealous of you I'm sorry. I dropped your lemon square, and i'll never take you for granted, big sis. I promise!" Veronica knew if she started crying it would get blood on Lyra's clothing so she tried her best not to. She knew that Lyra would ask her what was going on so she just said, "Don't ask. I'm fine I promise. I was just thinking. We should probably talk later" She reared back from the hug and sat quietly, opening her textbook. She looked serious for work as she always was. But then glanced over at Lyra with only her eyes and gave a smile.

Lyra blinked in surprise as Veronica suddenly threw her arms around her. Of course she hugged back, like she always would. She was confused enough by the random embrace, but then Veronica started going on and apologizing about being jealous and for dropping the lemon square.

"What's all this talk about jealously? Yeesh, I mean--YOU DROPPED THE LEMON SQUARE?!"

Lyra faked anger and glared at Veronica, and then stuck out her tongue.

"If you didn't want it, I could have eaten it!" she smiled. "And never once have I worried about you taking me for granted...where is all of this coming from? What's going--"

"Don't ask. I'm fine I promise. I was just thinking. We should probably talk later" Veronica said before Lyra could get her sentence out. Smiling at Veronica, she said, "Alright. After classes we have a few hours of free time after the Student Government meeting...maybe we can go to the library or something."

As Veronica sat down and opened her text-book, so did Lyra. Class wouldn't be started for a few more minutes, so Lyra smirked and asked Veronica, "So...see any cute guys?"

Lyra loved asking this question. Veronica's whole "Men are Evil" speech never got old.

Calista couldn't speak and kept on hiding under Shinji's towering form, trying her best to keep herself hidden but it seemed it only made matter worse when Blake took hold of her, suggesting they go find her dorm. Calista didn't really want to go to her dorm, being seen with these two would make her even more known so she shook her head, rejecting his offer,"N-no. I-i can go b-by myself.. but thank you Blake." Calista stuttered a bit but was able to say her last words with ease, picking her luggage up and turned to Shinji, giving him a quick hug, she dashed off through the crowd and to her dorm room where she went to spend the remaining of her time unpacking.

When she arrived to her dorm, she quickly shut the door and sighed, placing her bags down and taking a seat on a bed that seemed to be free. Looking around her, Calista stared at the other side of the room where her roommate's stuff were already unpacked,"Seems I missed her." Calista thought with a frown. She was looking forward to making friends with her roommate but it seemed she would have to wait. After unpacking her things, Calista was quite exhausted from the event, laying down on the bed.

Calista only wanted to rest for a bit but it seemed she had slept like a log, waking up to see that it was already time for class,"Crap! I missed everything!" Calista exclaimed and quickly went to fix her appearance, making sure she was well hidden than last time. Changing her hairstyle to a messy bun and putting on a over-sized hoodie, Calista rushed off to her first class, Basic Healing and Protection 101. Pulling her hoodie up, she made sure that her hair was completely hidden so that no one would be able to tell who she was but seeing that Shinji, her long time friend, had also been attending this school, it seemed that her identify would be revealed either way.

-----

Shinji glanced at the boy infront of him, the boy a little shorter than he was but still stood tall, showing off his pride a bit. Shinji couldn't help but curiously check out the boy, staring at him from the tip of his head to the bottom of his toes. The boy was quite attractive for a guy and seeing his stern looks made Shinji want to mess up his pride but Shinji wouldn't let his sadistic side take over now. Getting a better look at him, Shinji could already tell that this guy was the so called "Fearsome Secretary of the Student Council" or so he would call him.

Watching as he took hold of Calista's shoulder, Shinji continued to keep silent, staring into those amber eyes that shined brightly with the same hue of red like Shinji's but were more dull. Suggesting that he would assist his lackey to her dorm, Shinji snickered softly when his offer was denied, hugging Calista's small body and waving the girl off to her room. Once Calista was gone, Shinji turned his attention back to her friend, who she called "Blake", a mew could be heard in his jacket, popping out a head of a black cat that mewed at Blake,"Seems Calista found an interesting guy. Hope to see you around, Mr. Secretary Blake." Shinji said and tugged the cat back into his jacket, walking off the other way to get some fresh air for his little friend, Kuro.

After a bit of ditching the orientation and lunch, Shinji was heading off to his class, Basic Combat 101, since it was next on the list of things to do,"Wonder who I'll meet today." Shinji thought, feeling the cat squirm around in his hoodie, petting the cat softly,"Calm down will ya?" Shinji ordered and continued on his way.

-sorry if it's all messy >.< Rushing right now also my last post for today!-

what....was....THAT?!

Veronica thought after Lyra asked the question. "I will have you know, young lady, that Men are a Distraction for school. No woman should have a boyfriend in this period of our lives. For everyone is racked up with hormones and any move a woman could make could be detrimental to not only her education but also her rights and even her safety! I'm not saying men are dumb and evil. But, they do happen to be stupid and Malevolent! It's just not right to be thinking about boys in school. You must think about work! Not even Veronica herself noticed that she was already on top of her desk making a statement as a few other students walked into class and saw the spectacle. "Work pushes us ladies to be powerful! No longer will we be towered over by men. No longer will we be 'sensitive'. We women will stand up for equality. Destroy the patriarchy!" As she finishes her speech, she shakes her head like a growl. "Woman power!" Slobber then came out of her mouth as she growled and she wiped it away from her lips. It seemed to be slobber to her but to everyone else, she knew it was blood. She didn't create spit like a normal human. Blood replaced it all. She quickly wiped it away. And embarrassed, took her seat.

"Uhm...Forgive me"

Watching Calista scamper off like that made him realize he was now left with...that guy...who was now obviously and shamelessly scanning him over like he was some sort of mannequin, staring at him with those intense ruby orbs that Blake could just peer into for etnernity...wow...where did that come from? That's where Blake stopped that fantasy mostly because his pride refused the fantasy to further invade his thoughts and because a small black cat pocked its head out of Shinji’s jacket. Before Blake could even respond to the sudden appearance of the animal Shinji took his leave while giving him the most irritating and cocky way of saying goodbye yet. That guy really knew how to get on his nerves, and Blake was kind of sure he wasn’t even trying

That insufferable prick

Seeing as how his anger or rather seething started to intensify Blake figured he'd skip orientation and eating instead he wandered around the halls letting his anger subside a bit, pondering how he would react if he ever saw Shinji again, probably with more glaring, which to say is NOT checking out someone, glaring and checking someone out is two entirely different things . Soon students were exiting the cafeteria and heading to classes, which Blake took as a signal to go to his as well.

At least class will get my mind off him.

Walking into the classroom he noticed Lyra, Veronica, and Mars but was to steamed to say his so he just took a seat.

Mars took a seat right near the front of the class, just like he usually did. He found that he was able to better absorb everything if he was up close. This time, however, it wasn't because he wanted to learn as much as he can. He wanted to make it clear he didn't belong in this class. Sure, he always liked to give it his all, but he was much more suited for combat. He could create Ice and fire, so Ice was really the only support he could provide. His style of movement, his stance, how he implemented his powers, all were based around the concept of combat. The fact that he was assigned to what is basically support didn't make him very happy.

As he got comfortable in his seat, he noticed Veronica on top of her desk spouting gibberish, at least to his unfocused mind. "Looks like she's all better, now." Mars chuckled slightly as he turned back to the front. Veronica always got on these tirades on how 'men are bad', and every time he noticed it Mars couldn't help but laugh. At least she was dedicated to that particular train of thought. He took out a physics book he had been studying and started reading from where he left off. He was trying to figure out a few new tricks he could implement into his power, and he thought that physics would be a great place to do some research.

Lyra watched the look of disgust cross Veronica's face as she took a moment to process Lyra's question. That's when the fun began. At first, it was just her normal babbling...but it continued to get more and more heated, and the next thing Lyra knew, Veronica was standing on her desk. Clapping a hand over her mouth, Lyra desperately tried not to laugh. Not until Veronica had finished.

After she did, there was a painfully long silence. Veronica quickly apologized, her face red.

...

"Brilliant! Absolutely wonderful!" Lyra laughed, applauding her friend and breaking the silence. "You, my friend, have a way with words."

Lyra hunched over her desk and shook with laughter, hands draped over the front.

~Professor Giovia Eriwind~

Giovia gently closed the door of Headmistress Weatherstone's office, leaning back on it once she did. The woman rubbed dragged her hands down the sides of her face and let out an exasperated sigh. Kinya Weatherstone really knew how to stress a person out, always talking about things that needed to be done, monsters that needed to be slain...there was always something.

Smoothing out her beautiful orange and pink flowered kimino, the teacher started to walk towards her classroom. She wouldn't be doing much today, just letting the students introduce themselves and giving them their evaluations. Now, you might be wondering, how can you evaluate a person on the first day? Well, Giovia spent days going over the powers of their students and thinking of techniques they could use to heal and/or protect someone else. Most of these evaluations were tricky to write, but she managed to come up with at least one technique for each student.

Giovia was about to enter her classroom when she noticed a girl, blindfolded, wandering around not far from her.

"Um...excuse me, miss?" she called. It was really a call, though...it was like she was singing. "Are you lost?"

Valentina stopped in front of her Basic Combat class, taking a deep breath slightly before pushing the door open and walking inside. Many students had already found their seats, and were chatting nonstop with one another. A few people turned to look at her, and she flashed them a grin before taking a seat by one of the windows.

A yawn escaped her lips as she tapped her fingers against the desk, waiting for class to start. She scanned the room, looking to see if Leo had arrived. Seeing she wasn't here yet, Valentina sighed and stared out the window.

A leaf blew into the classroom, skidding to a halt on Valentina's desk. She picked it up, twirling the bright green leaf between her fingertips. Her grip on the leaf suddenly loosened, and the wind took it from her hands. Watching it fly away as if mesmerized, she snapped out of it and stared forward.

Emma stopped walking when she heard a woman call after her and seemed to be towards the one side of the hall. Maybe to go into a classroom. Turning, she faced the woman "Yes...Since I dont know the school layout..its hard to find places with my blindfold on. Normally I dont have problems like this." maybe Emma should have told the woman what she was looking for

Nichole jogged out and ran as fast as she could to her first class. Nichole finally made it and said"im here." Falling into her desk trying to catch her breath. She then sat up looking around the class room. This was going to be an interesting year for her. Nichole picked up her satchel getting out her notebooks and mechanical pencils incase they had to take notes.

After quickly saying goodbye to Professor Chime, Leo rushed off to her first class, Basic Combat 101. It took her longer than she would have liked to find where exactly it was, but she still made it there before class started, so she considered that a plus. She would be earlier to her next class, now that she knew where both were held. Hopefully she wouldn't get lost after today...

((I'm so sorry this took so long to get up!! My mom dragged me out and made me... *shudder* socialize...))

Killua walked down the busy hall, his hands in his pockets with a hood pulled over his head. Killua arrived at Basic Combat, took a peek in and immediately noticed a girl sitting next to a window playing with a leaf. Killua looked away slowly and took in his surroundings. After a moment's hesitation Killua stepped in and took the seat next to the girl he saw walking in.

Looking around the room for a face she recognized, Leo noticed that someone else had just sat down next to the only person she knew in the entire school... Swallowing audibly, the redhead made her way slowly over to them and sat down behind Valentina, taking a quick peak at the white haired boy sitting beside her only... Were they 'friends'...? Shaking her head, she decided she'd ask the other girl about that later. Looking at the boy out of the corner of her eye, Leo wondered if it would be safe to attempt speaking to him. Biting her lip, she looked away, glitching noticeably a few times as she considered her options. Should she try to speak to him...?

Killua noticed another student walk into the classroom. She had red hair and green eyes. Killua noticed something in her gaze, distress? Then she looked at the girl by the window. They must be friends. Killua thought. Killua turned to face the redhead, "You want to switch places? I changed my mind about sitting away from the window."

~Professor Giovia Eriwind~

Giovia sighed and walked towards the girl, quickly recognizing her as one of her own students. Emma's evaluation was particularly difficult, but Giovia thought of something, nonetheless.

"You must be Emma." she said, studying the girl. "Come, class is right over here if you will just follow me inside."

The teacher turned and lead the blinded girl into the classroom, ushering her in and showing her a desk. Giovia then stood at the front of the classroom, staring silently at the class until they piped down.

Giovia turned silently, picking up a plain black dry-erase marker and writing her name on the white-board in all capital letters. She turned back towards the class and said, "My name is Giovia Eriwind, but you will call me Professor Eriwind. Welcome to Basic Healing and Protection 101."

Moving in front of her desk and leaning gently back on it, continuing, "As some of you have heard, this class will be collaborating often with the Basic Combat 101 course taught by Professor Caige. You have all been partnered up with students in that class, and if you haven't already been made away of who your partner is, don't worry. I included that information in your evaluations."

Giovia patted to tall stack of papers beside her and looked at them proudly.

"I suggest you get to know your partners, figure out the way they move so you can protect them with ease." she said, crossing her arms. "Today is going to be fairly easy. You are going to look over your evaluations and ask me any questions you may have about them. You're only assignment is to take a few minutes to see if your protection/healing techniques work for you."

With that, Giovia began passing out the evaluations.

"Remember, some of you might have more listed techniques than others. Don't worry, I did that on purpose." the teacher explained as she passed out the evaluations. When she was finished, she sat back down at her desk and said, "You may open your evaluations and discuss them freely amongst your peers."

Protection Techniques: N/A

Healing Techniques: Life Force Switch--Since you have such a long lifespan and have lived for nearly one thousand years, you possess the ability to transfer some of that time to whoever your healing to restore their health. The more time you give, the better and faster they will heal!

Personal Note from Giovia: Don't give too much time! Be very careful with this technique. Since your time is limited, if you give to much, it could take a serious toll on your health.

Partner: Emily Hart

Protection Techniques: Walls of Earth--You can manipulate earth, and excellent ability for protectors. This technique is, of course is most useful outside. You will raise up multiple, thick walls of earth for the fighter to to cover behind. You may alter this technique depending on the situation.

Healing Techniques: N/A

Partner(s): Umbra Vang, Valentina Locke, and Aleksander Denucio

Protection Techniques: N/A

Healing Techniques: Giving in years--You are immortal, which is an extremely useful thing when it comes to healing. You can transfer unlimited amounts of years to the person you want to heal, though doing this causes extreme strain on the body and it will weaken you significantly for a certain amount of time, depending on how much you gave. No permanent damage will be done, though.

Saliva Seal: This one is a little bit gross, but the saliva of a Vampire instantly seals small cuts. (don't worry, I didn't tell anyone your secret.)

Personal Note from Giovia: The first one is a personal technique of mine, one that I use myself. Please ask me any questions you may have!

Partner: Killua Curtas

Protection Techniques: You have force fields. Do I really need to explain this? Be creative with what you do with them!

Healing Techniques: In extreme cases, you can cast a field around someone's wound if there are no bandages around. This will prevent infection.

Personal Note from Giovia: I expect a lot from you this year, Mr. Jones! Come up with original techniques, I know you can!

Partner: Shinji Aramki

Protection Techniques: N/A

Healing Techniques: See me about this.

Personal Note from Giovia: You are receiving a very special item from me. Please see me at my desk.

Partner: Matt Dale

Protection Techniques: Wall of Fire: This one is pretty self explanatory, but you must be extremely cautious while using. When the person you are protecting is in combat, you must create a wall of fire separating the person you are protecting and his opponent. This technique works best if the one you are protecting's powers are range based.

Healing Techniques: This one is an option, but only in dire situations. You may heat your hand up as hot as you can get it (without someone bursting into flames if they touch you). Once your hand is hot, place it on an open wound to seal it. This will be extremely painful for the person who is injured.

Personal Note from Giovia: Your powers are very useful, and protection and combat. All I must say is...try not to set anyone on fire.

Partner: Leona McFaul

Protection Techniques: You gave me the opportunity to think of something very creative. When fighting, if the person you are protecting becomes wounded or exhausted, you can take control of their body and run them to safety (using your own strength, not being able to feel this persons pain). I understand you will temporarily be blinded by this, so make sure you are in a safe place before attempting.

Healing Techniques: N/A

Personal Note from Giovia: Be very careful will using your technique. If you aren't in a safe place will controlling the one your are protecting, the enemy might not chase them, but go after you. BE. CAREFUL. I could lose my job if you die.

Partner: Geno Friar

Protection Techniques: Do I really even need to go over this one? (Rai-Chan le copies and pastes)

His main ability is called
Protection: Protection summons a mighty, unbreakable shield onto Aleks' right arm. Nothing can penetrate the shield and it allows Alek's right arm to never grow numb or be in pain if the shield is continuously bombarded with any attack.

When summoning
Protection he gains an ability called Stand Strong: Stand Strong enables Aleks, when in a defensive position, to not be flung back or pushed away. For example, if he is hit by a large axe, the shield will block it and prevent Aleks from sliding back from the force of the swing. Unlike Protection, Stand Strong will make him lose energy and when he grows tired, it will automatically disappear.

His last ability and a crucial one is called
I Will Protect: I Will Protect, which can only be used with Protection, makes the shield's protective powers expand into a fairly large square with the shield in the middle. This grants Aleks the ability to block multiple projectiles and attacks while defending multiple people. The major downside to this is that the shield becomes so heavy, he cannot move until he ends the ability which can several seconds. This makes him extremely vulnerable due to it also taking a lot of energy.

Healing Techniques: N/A

Personal Note from Giovia: Heh...aren't I genius for coming up with those amazing techniques...? Heh? Fine, you get the credit this time. Sorry you came up with better techniques than I ever could...

Partner: Valentina Locke, Umbra Vang, and Lyra Connerson

Protection Techniques: Thermal Curtain--Make a ring of extremely hot air or frigid cold air around whoever your protecting, so the enemy would have trouble getting close. Be very careful, and leave enough space in the center of the ring so the fighter is not affected.

Come up with ideas! You have the potential to get creative!

Healing Techniques: N/A

Personal Note from Giovia: I only wrote down one suggestion because I could go on forever with things you could do. Give me your ideas for extra credit!

Partner: Jacob Jenret

Protection Techniques: If near a body of water, manipulate it and create an ice barrier.

Healing Techniques: Water is very useful for healing, though I can't exactly write down how it works.

Personal Note from Giovia: See me at my desk to set up a time where I can show you how to heal with water.

Partner: Seamus O'Hare

((Combat 101 kids, your evaluations will be up shortly. Maybe tomorrow. This little shat took TWO HOURS LIKE WHAT THE HECK.))

Leona looked up at him with wide eyes. "Oh, you don't have to if you don't want to..." She tilted her head slightly, standing beside the desk. "Um... Thank you for offering... I'm Leona, by the way... You can call me Leo... I'm sorry if I'm... bothering you..." As she spoke, the redhead's voice became quieter and quieter, until she was practically whispering, and she hunched herself over, trying to appear smaller. She wasn't very good with first impressions...

Nichole blinked and read over the paper. Then saw emma. "Hey emma. " smiling. She walked over to her friend and sat next to her in an empty seat. "Are you excited as well? I wonder who seamus O'hare is anyway. Oh well. I cant wait to learn how to heal with water. It'll be totally awesome!" Smiling widely. Then her smile faultered a bit. "If only I could've learned this a year ago..." she shook her head and tried to make herself smile again. But it was difficult.

Killua gave Leona a strange look. Then stood and walked over to her, "Here you can have my seat Leo." Said Killua. "Do you uh- oh man.. Do want to be friends or something?" Killua asked awkwardly. Killua shifted his weight. "I mean you don't have to be my friend, I just I-I understand if you don't." Killua managed to stutter out, a wave of embarrassment washed over Killua and his pale face had a slight blush to it.

Emma followed the Woman, she peeked to see where the door was before going into the classroom and finding her desk without a problem. Once Giovia passed out the paper's, Emma ran her hands on the paper to see if there was indent marks from the pen/pencil. Sadly there was none. This caused her to go under her desk and peek from her blindfold, looking at the paper and reading it quickly before getting back in her seat and hearing Nichole "Hey Nichole.." she says softly before listening to her talk "not really..I dont see my power as the type to heal or protect. Just cause a mess." since she couldnt tell she was frowning, Emma spoke "You can still learn, nichole." she stood up and walked to Giovia's desk, placing the paper down on it "You wanted to see me?"

Johnathon hadn't eaten much for lunch, just some simple dishes (hunger is the best spice, so they say). During that period of time, he had neither focused on anything in particular or tried to meet with other students; apparently during class he'd be forced to do that anyways. On his plate were some eggs, a bit of turkey, beans, and an apple. How he wished for some Gulasz though. It had dawned on him how many things there were to adjust to at the school, the first and foremost being living in a dorm. People, again, were not his forte, yet he'd practically be living with another guy. With luck, he thought hopefully, I'll be away from the dorm most of my day. There had been a mix up with his luggage arriving at the school from the airport, but he hoped it'd be sorted out by the end of class, for he was really craving a smoke.

--

Class was beginning, and according to the schedule, John had Basic Healing and Protection 101 first. Support was a completely unknown field to him - he was more experienced with combat - but the combat class had been full upon registration. He didn't necessarily regret not getting in, he was simply annoyed at the prospect of support. With what information he had been given, he'd be assigned a partner as well.

Things were always better with a cigarette though.

The luggage problem had been sorted out shortly before classes started, so John was in a better mood than he had been. Nearing the classroom, he stopped to toss his current smoke into a nearby trash can. Lit, nonetheless. He then opened the door to the class, casually stepped in, and pushed it shut. Within a second's glance he had taken in the room, its surroundings, the students. All quaint and dandy, he sighed, sarcastically making a tasteless comment to himself.

He took a seat and rapped his fingers on the desk's side, propping up his elbow and holding his chin with his other hand in a very tired and absent manner. It was then he noticed it. He was sitting directly across from Lyra. His eyes wandered to the side briefly to regard her. She seemed busily chatting to her friend, whose cheeks were an amusing strawberry.

Giovani's sudden entrance interrupted John's thoughts, grabbed his attention as well. It looked like they were getting down to business now. Good. He took his evaluation papers and read over them - quickly because there wasn't much to read at all. "Thermal Curtain," he repeated the words on the paper quietly, studying them. And there was the teacher's note: 'Give me your ideas for extra credit!' Well, it certainly didn't sound hard. He found some satisfaction that his power could, at the very least, be utilized easily during class sessions. Admittedly though he was a little wary about the 'getting to know your partner' bit.

Blushing lightly, Leona stared at him in shock. "You... You want to be my friend...?" She asked slowly. Wow... It's only my first class on my first day and I've already made two friends...! She then realized that she was likely expected to actually respond to his question. "O-oh! Um, yes, I would like to be friends... Um, if you don't mind..." She gave him a small, shy smile, before gaining a rather puzzled expression. "Um... I don't believe I got your name...?" She asked timidly, slowly slipping her bag off her shoulders and setting it by the desk he'd offered her. She glanced at him through her hair, waiting to see what his response would be.

Mars looked over his sheet with the critical eyes of a hawk. He had been working on creating ice using his power over the summer break, so he was looking forward to using them and surprising the teacher. A wall of fire would probably be better at repelling enemies, but a wall of ice is better suited for projectiles. Also, he wasn't too sure how effective it would be, but he could possibly flash freeze someones wound. However, he hadn't worked his power strong enough t0 be able to create ice at far distances, so that would hamper his ability to use that.

Mars shook his head. He didn't want to get too caught up in this. He was built for the front lines, after all. Mars quickly rose his hand to get the teachers attention, ignoring the student who was currently talking to her.

"Excuse me, but I really don't think I should be in this class. I wasn't built to support someone, I was built to fight! That should be evidenced by my powers. Besides, there were a few elements that I felt you could also include in this write up about my defensive capabilities. First off, I can now create ice by removing the heat from an area .This ranges from creating barriers of ice to freezing a part of someones body in close proximity. This is a huge factor that I feel shouldn't be overlooked."

Mars sat for a few seconds, before mentally face-palming himself. "Good one genius, give her ideas of how you are even better suited for this class." Sometimes, Mars hated his own aptitude for logical thinking.

Matt had come down from his room and started going toward his Basic Combat 101 class, luckily making it on time. He could see that most of the class had already gathered and he went into the back of the room and took a seat by one of the tables there. He leaned a little back in his chair and waited as the class started. He really hoped it would be interesting, or he might sleep through the whole thing. He would have to find the girl named Emma to work with for today too, although he was unsure what she looked like. He think he remembered one of the Student council girls pointing her out this morning, but he was not entirely sure.

He started making little ray’s of light appear in his palm and played with them, before he got his evaluation. It seemed that they had to go see the teacher at her desk. He stood up, and then went up there to the teacher. As he walked he noticed another girl starting to make her way up there as well. Yep, it was the girl from this morning. He took notice of her blindfold first, peaking his interest a little. “Hi, I’m Matt,” he said, and lifted a hand. “I’m Emma’s partner for the assignment.”

Nichole sighed and rested her head on her arms and closed her eyes. Nichole then had a flashback of that horrible day.

Flashback

Nichole was in the house with nicholett. And she had just finished making her big sister a crepe cake. Nichole didnt know she had left a dishtowel near the open flame. A few seconds later the kitchen was ablaze. Nichole tried putting out the fire with her water but the fire was spreading too fast and the smoke was getting to her. Nicholett said"we cough have to get out of here now!" Coughing and tried to lead her little sister out of the burning house. But they got trapped. Nicholett coughed and found a window and kicked it out. And said"nichole cough go you have to go." Pushing Nichole out. "But nee-chan what about you?!" Nichole cried reaching for her. "I'll be fine! Go!" A beam fell in front of them separating them as the house came down. Nichole quickly put out the fire and went through the rubble seeing her sister's body. "N-nee-chan?" Nichole said shaking her. "Nee-chan wake up this isnt funny.." Nichole saw her sister's eyes were closed and felt for a pulse. "N-nee-chan? No please wake up! Wake up! Hic NEE-CHAN!"
