Fantasy Hawthorne Academy

Queen Rai

Self Proclaimed Queen of RPNation
Congratulations! You have just been accepted into Hawthorne Academy! Not like it was very hard, though. They'll accept someone who's dumber than a sack of bricks as long as they have some sort of...power. Oh, you read right. A "gifted student" is someone who is...different. They can make things happen, whether it's manipulate the earth around them or run around the city in a matter of seconds.

To put it simply, these students have powers, and Hawthorne wants to make sure these teens know how to use them, so they can contribute to society.

Of course, it's up to you whether you'll use your powers for good.

~The Academy~

school.jpg

(The Front of the School)

Understandably, Hawthorne Academy is pretty big (considering students come to attend from all over the world.). It's located on the Otherside, a place were supernatural beings live. Of course, humans can't see them, but they are everywhere...some of them aren't so friendly. If you are not gifted and you try to find Hawthorne, you will merely find and empty field with a few old trees.

Picture-6-700x437.png

(The Dorms)

There are many dorms resembling the picture above scattered all around the campus, half being for boys, and half being for girls. Of course, there are no shared dorms and you MUST have a roommate (which will be previously assigned based on the students' compatibility.). Curfew for all students (unless given other instructions) is 12:00 p.m. You can stay up as long as you want, but you must be in your room by Midnight.

(One of the MANY Classrooms)

One of the unique things about Hawthorne is that students aren't required to take math, English, or any normal subjects. Instead, each student will choose TWO classes from the list (in the character sign up!). Your first class will begin at 9:00 a.m and end at noon. After an hour for lunch, you will go to your second class, which will go from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. You can also take one elective, which lasts from 4:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m, but it's optional. There will be certain assignments you must complete in your classes, and some of them could be potentially dangerous (depending on the class). Choose wisely, you cannot switch classes until you have completed it with a passing grade (which will be determined by me based on how well you do on your assignments...if you do them at all!)

~The Otherworld~

images

(An Average Forest...or is it?)

Where is the Otherworld?

The Otherworld is everywhere, but not everyone can see it. It's difficult to explain, but the Otherworld is a dimension within our own...and though most humans can't see the monsters of the Otherworld doesn't mean they are not there.

For the most part, the only monsters that hang around normal humans are the ones who steal the match for every sock you own, hide your keys when you aren't looking, and tie your earbuds when they're in your pocket. Humans have just assumed that these things just happened on their own account...

Most of the monsters stay in the forest around Hawthorne Academy, since the school in right on the line between the Otherworld and the normal world. If you go deep enough into the forest, you will no longer be in the world you grew up in. You will have crossed completely into the Otherworld. There are villages, monsters, mountains, incredible sights...

They are all very real...but this place simply cannot be reached by a normal human. Monsters have to ability to kill, curse, and plague people, whether they are gifted or not. Most of the most deadly illnesses are brought on by a monster.

Ever since the beginning of time, Flos (Latin for flower) has been the ultimate overseer of the Otherworld. Helping her people prosper, keeping the monsters healthy and happy. . .all of it is her duty. She is the one who makes the sun rise in the morning and set at night, she is the one who makes the flowers grow when spring comes. . .she is the epitome of everything good. People of all races across the Otherworld built temples and churches dedicated to her. . .she is their goddess. And nobody loved this goddess more than a mortal man by the name of Nuhhaeh.

He was the mightiest warrior of his village, a strong follower of Flos. Everything he did was for her. The goddess, flattered by his regular acts of loyalty and compassion, often visited him. She bestowed special powers among this man, stronger than any she'd given before. . .it was inevitable that the two fall in love. . .and of course, it was forbidden. A goddess and a human? It was simply impossible.

So, blinded by his love, Nuhhaeh turned to darkness, trying to find a way to gain immortality to be with his beloved goddess. This darkness, a being simply known as Dek'Seec, made an offer. For only a fraction of the man's soul, Dek'Seec would grant him immortality.*When the goddess learned what Nuhhaeh had done, she was horrified and heartbroken. She couldn't ever love someone so infatuated with the darkness, and had no choice but to turn away from him. The man, overcome by grief, fell further into darkness until he was no longer the man he'd once been. He sold what was left of him, only holding on to the psychotic passion for Flos. . .he started to change, taking the form of a large, spider-like creature that was constantly dripping in black blood. He was overcome by his obsession with Flos.

And maybe. . .just maybe. . .if he could give her the entire world. . .

. . .she would take him back. . .

~Du'rocke~

Du'rocke is a fairly large town that is inhabited by an intelligent race of humanoids known as the Oclods. They are one of the more human looking species, but resemble elven creatures greatly.

290849.jpg

~Oclodian Woman~

Oclodians have very pixie-like features. Full lips, sharp noses. . .and of course, pointed ears. Oddly enough, their anatomy is very similar to that of a human, except Oclodians can go months without food or water, and they only have four toes on each foot instead of five.

Female Oclodians tend to never grow passed 5'5, and males usually linger around 5'9. . .it is also not uncommon to see Oclodians with natural blue, red, purple, or green hair, though most of them are born with a deep, chestnut brown or light, platinum blonde. Their eyes are almost always grey or blue, but there will be the occasional Oclodian with brown or green eyes.

Oclodians are very close to nature and their goddess.

Headmistress Kinya Weatherstone

anime-gas-girl-mask-Favimcom-601852_original_zpsb4e5cb67.jpg

Power: She can create clouds of toxic gas anywhere she wishes, and she can make flesh melting acid rain from the sky.

Description: Not teaching any classes herself, not many of the students get to spend time with Kinya. She will appear every now and then in a classroom to see how things are going, but she spends most of her time in her study or apartment. Nobody knows the age of Kinya, and it's hard to determine since she is always wearing a gas mask. Her power creates an automatic cloud of poison around her that she simply cannot take away. She wears the gas mask in order not to breathe it herself, and stays shut up a lot of the most likely to keep students from standing too close.

Xavier Caige

anime_guy3.jpg

Power: Fire, heat, etc.; he is very powerful.

Description: Xavier is Headmistress Weatherstone's right-hand man, and is in charge of all of the acceptance letters, He's the one who sent you yours! He teaches Basic Combat 101. He's a good teacher who is patient as long as his students are trying. If you goof around in his class, he won't be happy.

And when he's not happy, nobody's happy.

His temper isn't very good, but he won't completely blow up at a student unless they really test him.

He's very young, being only 25 years old, so of course he's very popular among the female students.

Giovia Eriwind

japanese_anime_girl_umbrella-wide.jpg

Power: Healing

Don't let her looks fool you, Giovia is actually the oldest at the academy, being an insane 101 years old. She uses her powers to keep her body young, so she can continue passing her knowledge down to students. Her power would allow her to live forever, but she knows one day she will let herself grow old. Giovia teaches Healing and Protection 101, and is very gentle. She speaks quietly, and her voice is soothing. Most students like her because she doesn't get angry.

Liam DiFranco

6a00d8345233f369e2011572073238970b-250wi

Power: He can remember anything he reads and everything he's learned.

Liam is very...passionate about what he does. He gets very excited about history to the point where he won't even notice if his class is asleep. If he does notice, he goes into a state of depression. He's always ranting about how important history is. He's a bit crazy, but he's a good teacher. He teaches Otherworld History.

Crysta Chime

tumblr_mgnhc6902r1r6roeio1_500.jpg

Power: Soul and Aura. Let me explain; she can sense the Aura's of things around her, being able to determine whether they are good or evil. She can see right through walls with this.

Crysta is 34 years old and completely blind, which just makes her that much more suitable for her position. Crysta teaches Meditation and Focus, which she knows much about. She teaches students how to see things with their power, not their eyes. Though she is a peaceful person, she will smack you if you don't behave.

Elsa Longstorm

images

Power: Laundry (as she calls it). She is able to patch up any piece of cloth, whether it be clothes or something else. She can also take out any stain with incredible ease...

Elsa is 23 years old and has been working at Hawthorne ever since her graduation. At first, she was Giovia's assistant in the infirmary...but after a few years, Elsa was given full charge of the place so Giovia could focus more on her class. She's a terrible flirt and loves making students blush, males and females alike. She's a bit of a pervert, but it's slightly...endearing. It's amazing how she hasn't gotten fired yet.

Are you sure you still want to go here? It's not too late to just conceal your abilities and continue life as a normal teen...because once you go to Hawthorne...

There's no going back.

Aleksander walked through the gates with a huge, bright smile. Hawthorne was everything he had hoped it to be. The students looked eager and ready to for school. Aleksander was happy to see that he would definitely be making many friends here.

I wonder who my dorm..mate? Is it dormmate? No wait, it's roommate! Ah yes. English Aleksander, English!

English was not Aleksander's first language but he heartily learned it due to it being widely known as the most common spoken language and he did like to talk to other people and knowing what they were even saying! Aleksander noted the Student Council President and nodded to her respectfully as he passed. He was excited to finally be able to learn more about his power.

Leona sighed softly as she tried to make her way through the crowded campus, wanting to get to her dorm as soon as she could. Thankfully, she really didn't bring very much, so maneuvering was easier for her than it was for some of the others. She only had her (large, overstuffed) backpack (which weighed a lot more than she thought it did, she only though it was light because she was so used to lugging it around with her) and one of those large, wheeled suitcases.

Finally, she made it to the North Dormitory and looked around. She was the first one there. Good. She wouldn't have to try to figure out the intricacies of dealing with people yet. Checking the paper she'd been given again, she made her way over to the door for 'Room C.' Opening it and glancing around, she nodded once to herself.

"I guess, being first one here, I get first choice on which bed I want..." Without hesitation, she took over the bed on the left side of the nightstand. For some reason, it was more natural for her to automatically turn left. As far as she could tell, it was just one of those little almost-OCD quirks that people tended to have.

She sat down on her new bed and pulled out the book she was currently reading. She'd packed her schoolbag with everything she thought she might need the night before, so she could wait a little while to unpack. (In other words, she was most likely going to end up keeping all of her clothes in her suitcase rather than putting them away, and she'll probably end up using it as a sort of makeshift dresser.) Settling into a comfortable cross-legged sitting position with her back against the headboard of her bed, Leona set to reading her book, waiting until it was time to go to Orientation.

Calista never knew that her long time dream would come true so soon. She was just wanting to try it out, to see if she could join the one school where she wouldn't have to hide her true form. She was what people called as "gifted" but she couldn't really say she was gifted. She was weak and couldn't do anything right, with just one look of her and people would be crowding around her, asking her to join their business or asking her with strange questions that she could never find the answer to response.

She thought being gifted was bad but slowly, she was convinced that all gifted have their ups and downs, whether your powers affected you physically or mentally. For Calista's case, her powers affected her mind and eyes, making her have some minor amnesia and making her completely blind for a short period of time. Calista just couldn't understand why she was gifted with such power that only gave her these kind of trouble.

Walking through the huge gates of Hawthorne Academy, Calista was pretty nervous of her first day in the new school, her long, light blonde hair braided and her sky-blue eyes hidden behind her thick black-rimmed glasses. She had prepared herself to keep her identify hidden and keeping her presence low, not wanting others to see her. She also had on a cap to try and hide her bright hair color but it didn't seem to help much but at least no one had noticed her yet.

Looking around her new surrounding, Calista gasped in awe at the school's appearance on the outside. The school was very clean and the sky above was a bright blue, just like her eyes. Watching the flood of students all fresh and new for the new school year. Calista couldn't really tell if this was really a school for gifted, seeing so many students that were just like her,"Wow... there's so many people." Calista muttered to herself, trying to get through the crowd so she could get to her dorm room. From what the envelope said in her mail, she was in the North Dormitory, Room D with a girl named Lera? or was it Lyra?

Calista couldn't quite remember the name well but she knew her roommate was a girl for sure and her name starting with an "L". Squeezing her way through the students, a loud chime could be heard from the speakers that hung over the crowd, the Headmistress Stone making her speech,

"Attention students! You all have exactly two hours until Orientation. I suggest you find your dorm and unpack your things during this time. Thank you, I will see you at Orientation!"

The Headmistress said and the speaker chiming once more before dying off by the sound of students resuming back to their chatters. Calista gasped when they were given only two hours to unpack, picking up her luggage, Calista quickly ran past all the students and tried to get to her dorm so she could unpack and maybe get to chat with her roommate, wanting to remember what her name was again,"I'm pretty sure it was Lera for sure... I think?" Calista debated in her mind as she continued to speed-walk to her room.

Mars stood by the front gates, nodding at the students as they came onto campus, occasionally putting on a small smile. He kept a professional feel about him, one that would attract the students who were curious about something or wanted to inquire on a matter. Whenever someone approached him for something, he would answer their question, then end with, "Don't forget to give it your all this year and make an impact on everyone around you!" A few students would give an enthusiastic cheer back at him, while others would just nod and move on.

As he watched the students pour in through the gates, he wondered who his new roommate would be? He hoped it wasn't some goody-two-shoes or someone who thought they were the best. Last year he was stuck with a kid who always tried to be friendly and help others, while not even considering the situation first. That wasn't a good year. Mars was a firm believer of the right thing to do isn't always the correct thing to do. Also, there was the fact that he was stuck in healing and protection 101, even though he signed up for basic combat. Support wasn't exactly Mars' forte, so he wasn't exactly thrilled. Still, even with that, he felt good seeing all the new students eager and excited walking in. This was going to be an interesting year.

Blake watched the flood of students travel through the corridors of the school like herds of sheep. Blake manages to catch some of the student's eyes and thus giving them a steely glare, before they quickly looked the other way with hunched shoulders while look for their dorms. Welcoming the students was Lyra's job; after all she was the president. He always thought she was a human beacon, people always gravitate toward her and though Blake would label her as annoying, he couldn't bring himself to say that. Although he would never say it, he though she was a bit...endearing, a little to bubbly for her own good, but still.

Still gazing at the students hurrying buy Blake thought back to his first time here, this was his second year and he wasn't excited or disappointed about being here again. After a few seconds of nostalgia someone caught his eye, it wasn't unusual for someone to peak his interest, as this school isn't exactly for 'normal' people, however the catch was this guy was the definition of normal, messy brown hair, blue eyes, but what really caught his attention was his goofy happy go lucky grin. For some reason this guy sort of ticked Blake off but also gave him a good vibe to, like someone who Blake would genuinely enjoy talking to, and to make matters worse it looked like he was heading for the south dormitory. Sighing he looked back to the crowd, other than seeing Mars standing by the entrance and a pinkish haired girl scurry past there wasn't anything else to interesting.

Lyra pointed towards the direction of the main office as she gave directions to the flustered boy, who was obviously not used to be around so many people. Suddenly, the boy looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. She turned her head slightly, and wasn't surprised to see Blake staring the boy down, who quickly waddled off.

"Blake, the whole point of being here is to reassure students that they belong here, and you're scaring them." Lyra huffed, crossing her arms. She heard another one of Mars' chants, and gestured towards the Treasurer. "Why can't you be more like Mars?"

And that's when she noticed a very attractive boy nod at her.

Lyra knew what had to be done.

His perfect skin, his tall, fit body, his charming smile and sparkling eyes...! He looked just like a movie star! There was no doubt in her mind that he'd done some sort of work in the entertainment business. He would be perfect for he drama club!

Lyra was about to break into a run towards him, frantically screaming her plans for him, but the last time she did that...the poor guy dropped out, he was so scared of her. This time, the President had to be calm...charming. She was capable of that! After all, she was an actress!

Flipping her dark hair over a shoulder, the President started towards him.

"Hello, I'm Lyra..." she smiled, taking his hand and giving it a friendly shake. "...Student Body President! I'm delighted to have you here at Hawthorne..."

Alright, so far so good.

"May I just say, you have a lovely smile!" she grinned. To anyone around them, it would seem like she was just flirting outrageously with him. That wasn't the case at all...she just really wanted him to join her drama club. She always needed more members...considering she was the only one.

"I was wondering if you would like to--"

She glanced passed his shoulder to see a girl with long, flowing hair and glasses walking towards the North Dormitory...

She. Was. GORGEOUS.

Obviously, Lyra needed her for the drama club as well.

She waved over Mars and Blake and called, "Guys! Go get that girl for me, stat! I want her!"

Valentina wandered towards the tall, brilliant gates of Hawthorne Academy, a gasp escaping her lungs as she dropped her heavy bags beside her. Her long, curly auburn hair bounced slightly with each step, a gleam of exhaustion in her sea green eyes as she stared at the school. She had heard of how beautiful this school was, but never would she have thought she would see it in person. A smile formed on her pink lips, as she picked up her bags once more, and began lugging them towards the entrance.

Many students had already arrived, and she felt a bit out of place as she had found most of them already knew each other. Walking in awkwardly, she flashed a few people a friendly smile, trying to hide the fact her bags weighed at least 200 pounds. Or at least, that's what it felt like.

Hearing the headmaster's voice over the speaker, she sighed hearing she only had two hours to unpack. Stepping down the hallway quickly, she found her dorm room to already be open. Taking small steps towards the dorm, she stood at the doorway and grinned sheepishly at her roommate.

"Hey! You must be my roommate. I'm Valentina." She said cheerfully, while placing her bags by the bed.

After hearing she had two hours, Maria walked straight to the North Dorm - With help finding her way to the North Dorms, of course. She unlocked and opened the door to her dorm and entered, shortly after beginning to sort her luggage. She had kept her blade in her luggage with the intent of finding out where to put it later, though she knew she would inevitably forget, so she taped a piece of paper with "ASK WHAT TO DO WITH VALENTINE" scrawled messily across it to the wall beside the door. She took a few books, binders and a pencil case out of her luggage and put them down neatly on the desk. Maria took an alarm clock out of her luggage, put it on the table beside her bed and set it for an hour and a half later, then laid down on her bed.

If my alarm doesn't wake me up, hopefully my roommate coming in the room will, Maria thought and drifted off to sleep.

Blake rolled his eyes at Lyra; although constantly cheerful she could be bossy sometimes. "If I wanted to be like Mars I'd be an overconfident logic nut," Blake replied dryly. However he didn't even think Lyra heard his remark because she was off recruiting more people for her nonexistent drama club and from the looks of it she was flirting with a guy she went up to even though she probably didn't even think she was flirting. People would have probably joined her drama club if she toned it down a bit and not be so upfront about things but than again she was just being her and if others didn't like her personality oh well.

Though that girl needs to watch what she says.

Flinching a little when Lyra yelled about the girl he assumed was that mouse like girl with pinkish hair that scurried by Blake sighed and started after the girl Lyra so desperately needed, if he didn't do this Lyra would probably do something drastic and he didn't want deal with those consequences.

What did she look like again?

Pretty sure she was wearing a cap, now that I think about it she looked like she was trying to shrink into her surroundings...

Soon he spotted her or at least he though it was her. However he seemed to be right, the girl was definitely trying to hide herself practically burying herself in clothes. Shrugging it off as her being shy Blake went up to her and put his hand on her shoulder to get her attention.

[/QUOTE]
Aleksander laughed and bowed to this hyperactive girl.

"Hello Ms. Lyra! I'm glad to be here at Hawthorne, thank you for the kind and warm welcome." He said cheerfully. When he commented on her smiled he chuckled again.

"I thank you, we all need to smile a bit more, no? It's good for us and can be someone's precious gift at the right time."

(Terribly short post :P I apologize)

Leona looked up, hearing someone speak from the doorway. After a moment, she gave a single nod in greeting. "Hi... I'm Leo..." She shifted, somewhat awkwardly, setting her book down and looking at the other girl through her lashes. "It's, um... Nice to meet you...?" Her voice was quiet, and she didn't meet the girl's--Valentina's--eyes as she spoke. Suddenly, her body went rigid as she glitched for a moment, making a light blush dust her pale cheeks and she looked away from the other entirely, not wanting to see the judgement she knew was in her eyes.

Mars chuckled at Blake's comment. "Well at least i have something to be confident about. Actually, your cynicism is unlike that I have ever seen, so that is something you can boast about." Mars didn't exactly get along too well with Blake. Blake was way too negative for his tastes, plus he didn't really seem like the type of person to really care about anything. Still, he was able to keep calm quite well, so he had that going for him.

Mars couldn't help but laugh when he saw Lyra trying to recruit that boy to her drama club. She was always trying to get people to join, but she was trying a little too hard. She definitely wasn't the type to think things through before acting, but she sure was dedicated. Mars looked over when Lyra called out for him and Blake to go get someone for her. Just then, he was approached by another student who wanted to ask some more questions. "I think it's a better idea if I stay here and keep helping out." He called back to Lyra. "Blake can handle it on his own."

"Ooh, an accent!" she sighed dreamily, clasping her hands under her chin. "You have a way with words! You are just radiating with star-quality, which is why I'm asking you to join my drama club!"

Taking the boys hand, she gently began to pull him along, following Blake who had successfully locked down her target. She glanced back at Mars for a moment...it was unfortunate that he couldn't be the one helping her persuade the girl, but it was probably better that he stay and greet the students instead of Blake.

"Alright!" Lyra called back to Mars, giving a small wave to a group of passing students. They all waved back. She looked towards Blake and called to him, "Don't scare her, okay?"

Lyra had already tried getting Mars and Blake to join her drama club, but easily backed down realizing they were both pretty busy with Student Government. Of course, she would try again. You never know!

"By the way, what is your name?" Lyra asked, letting go of the boy's hand when she was sure he was following her.

Valentina also collapsed on her bed, putting her hands behind her head and crossing her legs in a relaxed position. She smiled slightly as she glanced over at Leo.

"It's nice to meet you too. I'm guessing your new here too?" She asked curiously, suddenly sitting upright on her bed and facing Leo. Valentina was never too shy when it came to making friends, but she had a feeling Leo was a bit quieter when meeting new people. She flashed Leo a friendly smile, seeming to be a bit confused when Leo looked away from her.

Leona glanced back at her again when she spoke. "Yeah, I'm new..." She paused for a long moment, wondering if she should ask... Finally, she shrugged and decided she might as well try to get along with the person she'd be spending the next year sharing a room with. "Um... So... What classes are you taking...?"

Calista only just wanted to unpack her heavy luggage, dragging her feet after no hope of getting through the huge wave of people. Trying to get past them was hard for Calista, stepping on people's shoes and sometimes even bumping into people. And now here she was, bumping into another person, luckily her glasses stayed on but her cap had fallen into the crowd, being stepped on by the students without a care. Apologizing to the person she bumped into, she looked down to the ground at her poor, now flatten, cap covered in dust and footprints,"Poor cap" Calista stated, feeling bad to a non-living thing that she could go buy at some store.

Her pinkish blonde locks now visual for anyone to see, Calista gasped and trying to hide herself by fitting into the crowd but everyone had different color hair from her and it seemed she was the only type of person along the crowd with such bright hair color,"Oh no, what do I do?" Calista panicked in her head, unsure how to keep herself hidden now. Along her panicking, she didn't notice that she had already been spotted by somebody already even when she hid herself so well.

Feeling a warm hand on her shoulder, she squealed and bumped into another person, apologizing once more and turned to see who had touched her. The first thing she saw was a huge, broad chest, slowly looking up to see a male student with a scary look. Calista couldn't say anything but stare at him in fear, cowering under him,"U-u-umm.. I-i'm sorry?" Calista said softly to him, unsure what to say to the guy. The boy was huge and seemed really strong as if with one finger, he could carry Calista and throw her 500 feet away but that couldn't be possible.

Calista couldn't say anything now, she was caught and on the first day of school of all days. She wanted to bury herself in a hole or even better, be sucked into a random black hole but she couldn't do that. Noticing a girl with long jet-black hair calling out to the boy, Calista guess that they were friends in a way, hearing the girl calling out for him to not scare her,"Scare me? He's already scary enough." Calista thought looking back to the boy, questioning why he was even bothering with her when she had nothing good going for her.

Valentina grinned slightly, leaning back on her bed once more.

"Basic Combat 101 and Meditation and Focus. To be honest, I'm kinda excited. It sounds weird coming from me because I usually hate school," She said while shrugging, glancing back at Leo with a mischievous look in her green eyes.

"But ya know... I have a feeling this is gonna be a good year." Her voice softened, as if already picturing the experiences she was about to have. Snapping out of her daydreaming state, she turned her attention back to Leo.

"What classes are you taking?" She asked calmly, smoothing her hair out for a moment.

Umbra entered the front gate with a mad grin on his face. This was because he had just stolen a keg of beer from a store, was smuggling it in, and this year of school was going to be awesome. He walked into his local walmart disguised as the picture of some stranger that he had in his wallet. This was his go to persona, he would often change to this person when he was about to do something he shouldn't. Stealing was so easy for Umbra, He just walked in, took something , went to a register , gave the cashier some fake money from his pocket, and walked out.

Umbra really hoped his roommate would like to party, because the last thing he needed in life right now was a party pooper. So Umbra hurried to his dorm , not really paying attention to the fake smiles about the campus, because he had something illegal in one of his bags and he wasn't about to let himself get caught because he was taking his time staring at some girls butt.

As Umbra reached the south dormitory he turned a corner and reached his destination, Room D, his new home for this year. He Opened his door and with relief he was the first one into the room. He ran in with glee looking around smiling, he examined everything carefully and with splendor. Content with his new living situation Umbra decided to just leave the keg in his bag and stuck it under his bed for now. He took his other bags and started to unpack, claiming the bed closest to the window as his own. He hooked up his nintendo 64 into the TV hoping there would be no contest as to whether it should be there or not with his roommate. He changed into a grey, light jacket a pair of khakis and some new vans . Relieved to have some time to relax umbra laid down on his bed.

As soon as Umbra fell asleep for a nap he was awakened by some a chime and some cross sounding women yapping about orientation or something. He didn't really care what she had to say and he fell back asleep quickly.

Despite herself, Leo felt a small smile tugging at her lips as Valentina spoke. There was something about this girl that the redhead just liked. She couldn't really explain it, but... She was glad she'd ended up with Valentina as a roommate. Her smile morphed into a bit of a grin and she bowed her head to hide it, short red hair forming a bit of a curtain around her face. "I'm also taking Basic Combat 101 and Meditation and Focus..." She let out a small laugh, glitching again as she reached up to rub the back of her neck. Hopefully Valentina wouldn't stop being friendly with her, especially since they shared a room AND both of their classes...

Slightly embarrassed because of his poor navigational skills, he goes over to the front gate and walks through. He goes over to the reception area and checks in. He looks around to see some students, they don't seem like his type, but you can't judge a book by it's cover, he supposed. If he did, he never would have never picked up "Macbeth", and that book is now a favorite of his. "Gents." He said in a light German accent.

Looking at the meek girl who scrambled about and cowered Blake had to admit her appearance was fair, although hidden in layers of boyish clothing her porcelain like skin as far he could tell was unblemished and now that he looked closer her hair wasn't actually pink but just really blond and silky. Also underneath those heavy glasses that sat on her nose was a pair of startling pure blue eyes that seemed to sparkle under the lighting. Though Blake preferred males even he could tell under the nerdy get up she was a beauty.

You would think a girl that looks like this would be more confident…

Shaking himself out of it Blake pointed toward where Lyra was "The president wants to talk to you..." he trailed off realizing she was no longer there. Giving an exasperated sigh Blake turned back to her rubbing the temple that was near his good eye. "Never mind...and for god's sake stand up straighter, it's not like I'm going to throw you across the room." Though judging by her petite frame it wouldn't be that hard, she looked light as a feather. Speaking of feathers she sort of reminded him of a little starling, fervently scampering about, avoiding predators by blending in to it's surroundings.

Wait why am I comparing her to a starling?

Feeling as if he were about to drop dead, he goes over to the nearest chair and carefully deposits his coffin-like backpack on the ground next to it. He has carried his hundred or so pound bag for about nine hours today, he was sore. He sits down in the chair and scratches his companion behind the ear with his large, hand. "Don't worry Mr. Goat, We'll figure out the room situation tomorrow." Mr. Goat nods in approval and lays himself down at Jacob's feet. Jacob and Mr. Goat fall asleep soon thereafter.

Valentina's expression immediately became cheerful as Leo told her they had the same classes together.

"Awesome! Not only are we roommates, but we're in the same classes too!" She exclaimed, causing her giddy behavior to make her laugh suddenly. Slipping out of her relaxed position, she sat up and faced Leo again with a grin.

"You don't have to tell me yet, but what's your magical ability?" She smiled at Leo to assure her not to worry. She was happy Leo was her roommate. Valentina was surprised at how well she bonded with her over such a short amount of time.

Calista squeaked slightly just like a mouse as he spoke in an annoyed tone as if he was mad at her. Calista couldn't tell what to do , being obeyed to straighten herself and obeyed his order, fixing her composure and trying to act strong at the least. She couldn't help but stare at his eyepatch that hid his right eye, curious of why he had it on but she was too chicken to ask him, scared that he would get mad at her for asking such a personal question when they didn't even know each other.

Trying to hold her ground, Calista tried to start a conversation at the least, wanting to maybe befriend the guy even when he was pretty scary,"M-my name is Calista Vance. M-may I k-k-know your name s-sir?" She stuttered out, mustering out all the courage she had inside of her, which was very little to none. She was a very depressing girl to have such small confidence in herself but having bad experiences in the past, she lost all that confident during those years.

She couldn't even stand up to herself if a child were to confront her and bully her in such ways, a very sad girl Calista was indeed. Behind her thick lens, she was about to go in tears just being stared down by the guy, his intense stares felt like daggers piercing into her skull. She couldn't take this anymore and tried to look down, too scared to look him in the eye any longer.
