Realistic or Modern Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride

Lani narrowed her eyes and groaned a little. "Ok fine, but I can promise there will be no surfing. It's gonna be all wiping out." Lani took a drag and bit her lip, letting the smoke escape from her nostrils like she was an angry bull from a bugs bunny cartoon. "Matty knows how bad I am." She glanced to the side at Matty.

Star smiled "Yess!" She shouted and laughed softly as she gave in "I don't care how and you are.. I'll teach you and you'll be good in no time." Her face lit up with excitement and she laughed a little more as the smoke swiftly came out of the girls nostrils.

(I'm assuming you're talking to my character?)

Harlyn peered out the window at the scenery as Eden drove. It was surely a quiet ride and although she didn't mind it, it felt awkward not knowing anyone in this car. She found herself wondering how long this ride will be. The voices in the front were conversing about music and after a little bit, she heard the first track of Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! come on, This is Gospel. Soon enough, the male sitting in the passenger seat turned to look at her.

"I'm Harlyn," she glanced at him, almost scoffing at his attempt, then turned her gaze back to the window. "Yeah, they're one of my favorites."

He was surely attractive, but she's known boys like that.

(@Idyllia on page 7, my character got into the car with Eden. So, they were talking to me. Sorry for the confusion but I can make this work! (I hope none of that sounds rude. x) ) )

Nikki was doodling in her journal, wondering what this adventure would bring when a voice interrupted her train of thought. She looked up to find the guy in the passenger seat looking in the back seat but before she could answer anything, the girl sitting next to her said something. He seemed to almost be trying to make a move on one of them but Nikki dismissed the thought as overthinking things. Even if he was trying to do anything, she'll probably just turn him down.

Nicole smiled a little before replying to passenger seat guy. "I love this band more than anyone will ever know. I'm Nicole but just call me Nikki. Nice to meet you, Harlyn. Also, come to think of it, I don't think I ever had the pleasure of learning your name either." She says.

((Oopsie! So sorry for the confusion. Should've read a bit more haha @Wyllow Anne Kellis nah, it doesn't sound rude, thank you so much for informing me! Also, thank you for making it work out well!))

Harlyn was startled as she completely forgot that another girl got into the car with her. Way to keep an eye on her surroundings. To think of it, the male was probably talking to her as well. Her face red, she turned to the girl that introduced herself as Nikki. "Nice to meet you as well," Harlyn smiled. "What's your favorite song by Panic! at the Disco?"

Harlyn turned back to the window, enjoying the scenery. She never really got out into the world like she's doing now, so most of these beautiful sights were new to her.

(i love it how i never got an Alert... im so sorry guys.)

Alex looked out the window then again in the review mirror at Matty. She turned her music down and sat up for a bit. " Matty when are we gonna be there?" She was ready to get to the beach and just relax. " Also is there a pool maybe a hot spring involved here?" She looked at star and smiled. " For some crazy fun.." She leaned over to Star and whispered " maybe some skinny dipping.." Alex giggled a little.

Patty laughed a bit, " It's Patty, whatcha drawing? By now nicotine had come on and Patty was slowly singing along with the music. Everything just seemed so interesting too him today, whether it was just life or the fact that he was surrounded by three girls who seemed to have good enough looks for him too go to bed with. But that was probably just the Patty in him thinking about girls like that. When does he not think about girls like that...

Eden looked to everyone in the car and opened her mouth, this was about to be the most embarrassing moment in her life. "Im sorry about the beach, I really didn't want to do that but im just really confused and i cant tell you guys why cause im afraid and i have no clue why im even telling you guys this cause you hate me. But i really needed to say that im sorry, and that im actually not a bad person i just wanted to say something bad about Matty for once cause i needed to see his reaction." She tried to half smile about all this, but she knew she just sounded like a complete wack job.

Lani nodded thoughtfully, Inhaling another puff of her cigarette and blowing it out the window. This was weird for her- she was being awfully chatty with a lot of people she didn't know. It was probably just the excitement, but still, she liked it.

((Sorry this is so short y'all))

"Well you're persistent," Carter muttered under her breath in Star's direction. "Lani, you don't seem to like water at all. Bad experience?" She then raised and eyebrow, and a sly smirk made its way across her face. She was acting like a total bitch right now, but she was feeling confident in front of this group right at the moment, and she was going to use it to her advantage. Carter doesn't want people to think she's a total pushover prissy- which she is, that is, when she lets her guard down. She didn't need anymore friends. Matty and her creations were good enough for now.

Lani turned around to face carter and furrowed her brow. She took a long drag and blew it out right in Carter's face, which she took her time doing. She stared at this oddly rude girl for a second, or 10, wondering what to say. She wanted to make her feel slightly uncomfortable, but not so uncomfortable that she thought Lani was strange. Lani decided on telling her the truth. "I drowned." Lani announced in an extremely simple way.

She turned around to face forward and sunk back into her seat, breathing in one last puff of the slightly stale cigarette and flinging it out the window. "My heart stopped too." She added, staring ahead at the road.

Lani remembered that day well. Her mom wanted to get out of the gloomy house so she took Lani out to teach her how to surf. It was right after her father's accident, so it was as much for the benefit of her mother as it was for getting Lani out of her room and into higher spirits. Lani was awful. She couldn't ever make the board do what she wanted, but her mom persisted. There was an especially big wave and Lani wiped out, of course, but didn't come up for air. Her mom had to go out and get her and a concerned passerby performed CPR until the medics arrived. Lani had barely waded in the water since, yet, she felt different now. More confident with her friends and this nice girl star.

Carter almost forgot how to breathe for a second. She was at a loss for words before quickly finding her tongue. "Well uh, I'm sorry. Seriously. I didn't know. I don't mean to come off as a bitch, I'm just not used to new people." She then sunk back in her seat, and stared out the window. She felt truly terrible, and hoped that Lani would understand.

(Sorry for the short post!)

Harlyn glanced at Eden, furrowing her brows. She had heard of all of the commotion that Eden caused when she arrived to the scene, although she wasn't part of it, she thought it was fucking crazy. Harlyn tried to comprehend all of what the vibrant-haired girl was saying, but none of it was clicking. Alas, they were all going to be stuck together in one place for a long time, whether any of them liked it or not.

"It's alright, and I'm sure the other would understand as well," Harlyn quietly stated.

What did Eden say? Something about being confused and afraid? Harlyn raised her eyebrow at Eden, then turned her gaze once again back to the window. She was kind of feeling concerned for this troubled female. Since she didn't know her that well, Harlyn didn't pursue her for more answers.

Lani grinned in a bitter way, but she wasn't facing Carter's direction, so she probably couldn't see. "Right," She shook her head, "It's cool." Lani lied. She thought 'I'm not good with people' was probably the worst excuse of being rude she'd ever heard, but Lani knew she would be able to brush it off. She wasn't really emotionally affected by what Carter said but if it had been anyone else, someone who had been upset about it, then it wouldn't have been alright at all. Lani rolled her eyes thinking about it. Wonder what her deal actually is. She asked herself in her head.

Star smiled when she was called persistent by Carter and looked at her "Sure am." She then looked at them while they had their tiny arguement, she began to furrow her brows when Lani told her story "I promise I won't let that happen -" she paused for a second trying to unfurrow her brows "I'll let you surf on tiny ripples before you go on any real wave and your going to know how to do everything before you ever get on one." She gave a soft smile and put a hand on Lani's shoulder and stuck out her tongue playfully to try and lighten the mood.

(Love how I got no fucking notifs. It's been happening allot. I'm going to go to Wiz when I have a chance.)
