Considering making another staff character: A tinker that supply his inventions for the school to use on training. A set of dumbbells that increase in weight up to 100 tons, frictionless clothes for speedsters, catalysts for electricity based powers and so on. He would be just a minor character, but with potential for a good story, since students could request things from him.

i think it would be an interesting idea for a minor character! it would make sense for the school to have somebody in a position like that because due to differing abilities, they’re going to need customised items.

So I'm interested in joining this game, but I'm curious as to where in the world the school is located. I just noticed that most of the teachers (at least the DM controlled ones) are from Europe while most of the students are from America. Also what month is it in game? I'm guessing August or September?
Oh and would the academy have a system for finding/rescuing at-risk "kids". Like someone who's at risk of being discovered or whose powers put them in danger?

it’s a US situated school. it’s september (i’m pretty sure). all of the kids have been contacted specifically by the school to attend.

Glad you asked! The time is currently September. As for the location? It is situated in the America's and I will just say that it is more in the West coast for now. I haven't pegged a specific location, but you can guess that from the forest and lake climate it is more northern.
Also: Yes, the academy does "Watch" these kids, but it's also very difficult because of the other force currently hunting the gifted as well. If they do find one and they hadn't been enrolled, the academy will USUALLY wait a year while watching the person and the people around them. If their powers are too obvious and draws too much attention, the headmistress herself will ask for them to be enrolled to be protected.
