Valerian barely registered Emile’s question as hordes of grim began to emerge from the trees. Turns out they weren’t the only ones investigating the sound. God, was it his birthday or something? A fight this big was sure to be a riot.

Valerian swung Guided Light and slammed it into the ground, the lantern part turning a blazing red. The big guy had his hands full with the death stalker, so someone else would have to deal with the little guys.

“No time to run, so let’s have some fun! Valerian chimed. “Mind giving me a hand Momo?”

His fighting style was erratic and fast paced— but it did leave openings. Best to have someone looking out for stragglers. Valerian lunged towards one of the Ursa, Guided light whipping around him and drawing red-hot streaks in the air. The dust-infused lantern struck one grimm, before slingshotting around to smack another as he threw himself head first into the approaching monsters.

As anya called out dinah let herself go letting the form fade as she was once more reduced to just mist. The shards of ice flew right through the mist that was dinah, and only as the grimm was turning to ash did she return to her normal form. Dinah stretched her harms and legs both feeling a bit core, well she was a bit sore all over from the transformation as turning into larger things was much more challenging than smaller things. Dinah didn't know if that was because she spread herself thin or just because she didn't find reason to do it often.

" Well that was easier than i thought " Dinah said trying to sweep her freak out under the rug. She didn't want to explain, to think about what had happened. She went out of her way to avoid such things. With that she once more turned to mist the bounded for anya reappearing as a black cat that nestled itself in Anya's cape hood.

Bress had no clue what the heck a blackguard was and she didn't care as another swing took out another grimm that had surrounded the alpha. What was their plan for after the alpha fell just hope the Grimm would scatter? The one girl had distracted them, but could she keep it up and could that deal with the gimm? Bress didn't know and guessed that if it could it would have. That aside it was just one alpha one group it was light excise should grimm decide to lay siege to a community. Her home had come under minor sieges that had not grown only because Bress and others had gone out and crushed their foes before they could truly become a threat. Bress also thought the others would be similarly well acquainted with dealing with the grimm as she had been, but not everyone had hunters to teach you like her people had. Bress had decided to deal with the lesser grimm in a better way than just hoping they would leave when the bigger one fell, and there was no way she would let them just run off anyways.

By the time that the student in the oddest of clothes had finished the alpha Bress had managed to deal with the horde around it. They had needed to team up on the alpha and bress did wonder if that had been needed, they hadn't been getting beaten per say so she thought one of them could easily deal with an alpha. though perhaps that was just the girl's bravado. Still when the alpha grimm faded it seemed that the grimm were done with this area. Bress looked around but didn't see any more, the teacher had dealt with them all.

" No much of a warm up" Bress sighed not seeing a real reason or need to stick with the others, they were fine on their own and she was fine on hers. They were all heading to Haven, but that didn't really mean they needed to stick together. Bress put the stone sword on her back and started to head off her work here was done, if they others came with her then they did so and if not then they didn't. They were hunters and so not hers to protect. Also Bress was hoping she might get to fight more grimm on the way to haven, she wanted her own alpha today.

Shin'ya's body had almost given out. Like a house battered by storm and lightning, standing but so weak that even a gust of wind could knock it over. Somewhere deep inside her she felt ashamed at looking forward to assistance. To rest. A hunter was meant to be the hope of others, never faltering and being the light at the end of the tunnel that others could run to for deliverance. But right now, her body was at its limit. She could barely continue. But she would.

Her arm shaking, she placed her respirator back on her face, locking it in.

She hissed in a deep breath and lowered herself slightly, like a runner preparing to sprint from a standing start. Like a whip, she shot forward, aiming to grab Liserian and drag him with her to the rendezvous point. After all, the other two could handle themselves just fine based on their performances just now, but he could probably use the help. That and well, he was the closer at hand.

However, she hit him with all the force of a pillow, compounded by her...unimpressive mass.

"Come on...we can't stay here..."
Even with her respirator on, her breath was weakening, but she continued to haul Liserian forward like a stubborn mule. "Knight, archer, get going!" She hissed at the other two. "It's now or never..." It wasn't far now.

Before any introductions could happen, the clearing was soon swarmed by a herd(?) of Grimm. He readied his weapons in anticipation, surveying the monsters surrounding the team. But that didn’t prepare him for the giant deathstalker approaching him and the blond girl, ready to strike. Fortunately, Bhima quickly took action and started to restrain it, prompting the others to fight as well. He quickly dashed to help Bhima with restraining the massive Deathstalker. He used his threads to restrain the right claw. Pulling with all his might. He then tied the other end to a nearby tree. “We gotta take care of this big fella fast. I don’t know how much longer my threads will last on their own. Hopefully Blondie 1 and Blondie 2 can fend off the horde until we finish this thing off.”

Emile was kinda miffed about the teacher's order of leaving her behind. Something about that didn’t sit right with him. “What kind of students would we be if we left our teacher for dead?” He said as he dashed towards the Deathstalker’s tail and with his own blade, he pushed Jade’s blade through its tail, completely severing it. The Deathstalker screeched in pain. Before Emile could celebrate his small accomplishment, the threads on the tree that was holding the Deathstalker’s right claw came loose, thus it started to flail it around in panic. Emile then looked at Bhima. “If you’re going to do something, you better do it now.” He then started to shoot at the Deathstalker, distracting it so that Bhima will have an opportunity to find a weakness.

Once the Alpha went down, Carlisle sighed and allowed his shoulders to slouch for just a moment before realizing they were still surrounded. He got back into his stance but noticed some of the Beowolves began to back off before fully retreating. Carlile let out a sigh before facing the other three girls he was currently teamed up with, “well...” he started, “that was...a thing.”

The voice of the newcomer did catch him off guard but once he saw it was a teacher he put his weapon to his side and put a hand on his hip, “little late don’t you think?” he told him. He raised an eyebrow when he mentioned this was a part of their exam and shook his head. He refused to believe surviving a air ship crashing, plummeting towards the earth, and being surrounded by Grimm was a part of the Exam, then again, this was Haven Academy who knows how they do things around here.

The teacher introduced himself as Corrosi and almost immediately brought up the other Grimm suddenly approaching them. Carlisle brought his sword up but after mentally thinking about their current situation he realized he would cause more harm than good with only having one more bullet for Echo and Epilogue being bone dry. However, Corrosi told them to leave and after making sure everyone was ok to run, he nodded in agreement and looked back at the others, “Alright, let’s get going, Sting Ray, Fox Girl.” with that said he began to take off towards the direction of the smoke.

Ignoring the sound of battle behind them Carlisle ran through the woods before coming to a clearing where other students began to gather with other teachers. Carlisle stopped jogging once they joined the other students and sat down letting out a loud sigh, “finally, I can just relax.”

Jade watched as the students, instead of taking her advice and going away decided to continue the fight. Stating they can’t go anywhere while this oversized scorpion was still in play, she smiled slightly as even one of the students even mentioned not wanting to leave a teacher behind, “Heh, interesting batch of kids we have this year.” she says to herself before suddenly getting an idea, “Fine, if you want to stay, then this is your first assignment!”

Normally, assigning random assignments during life-or-death situations was Mizu’s thing, but seeing as these kids are confident in their abilities she might as well push them, that’s what they are teachers after all, “I’ll reward you each extra points if you can defeat the Deathstalker in under two minutes!” Maybe two minutes was too easy seeing the giant student but turned her attention to the smaller Grimm, “I’ll handle the annoying ones.” She spun her hoop around her arm and her Doppelganger did the same. After a few spins fire began to appear around the blade while the other hoop began to give off a faint blue light, “Remember kids, two minutes or you fail.”

With those words said, the doppelganger suddenly threw the hoop at a large group of grim at the same time Jade did. The Hoops flew through the air and right before they collided another doppelganger suddenly appeared grabbing both hoops and spun creating a fire and ice tornado like attack wiping out a large group of Grimm.

Bhima’s face lit up with a fierce grin at the teacher’s challenge, her words sparking his competitive spirit. “I accept your challenge, ma’am!” He called out, his voice clear and powerful, determination evident in his stance.

Gritting his teeth, he channeled the last of his Aura, feeling the strain as he dug his heels in. With a final, all-out effort, he pulled hard, his muscles burning as he forced the Deathstalker’s right claw to tear free with a sickening crack. Without missing a beat, he swung the massive pincer around, slamming it toward the Deathstalker’s armored head.

At the same time, he grasped the creature’s severed stinger, wrenching it down with all his might to aim both the claw and stinger at its head, his roar echoing through the chaos.

Anya Borealis

"Screw you teach!" Anya yelled out to Corrosi as she moved away from the place just seconds ago with Dinah in her cape's hood, towards the direction of Haven Academy.
Anya looked back a bit commenting to Dinah. "Best not Jinx anything, also don't mind the rocking in the hood."

"I have a name ok. It's Anya!" Anya spoke semi-loudly to Corrosi, as he dared call her a Fox Girl... I mean she was a fox girl but names exist for a reason and should be used. However, he didn't need to remind her that they needed to get out of there.

The path there, wasn't the best, with trees, roots, and general nature being in the way of a quick and straight way to their destination it did take a while to arrive at the clearing.
"Dinah if you want you can go to sleep for now, I'll wake you up if something important happens." Anya whispered to Dinah which rested in her cowl's hood. She glanced around and saw a few students who had made it here before them, a guy who looked like a teacher, and the ship's captain out in the distance. Hopefully, other students will arrive soon, she didn't wish for anyone to be hurt.

Grimm scattered across the forest, clawing and snarling as they remain a scattered force, shadows shifting in the corner of ones eyes. Groups of young huntsmen and huntresses make their way throughout the packed forest.

1735581930482.pngHolding the grimm back long enough for the Huntresses to deal with the main beast. Daisuke cleaves his sword against the monsters. Some slashed in his swings and others smart enough to retreat. "Let's get you ladies out of here." Motioning his hand to follow his lead. The teachers and students themselves eventually are out of the forest and into the outer gates of Haven Academy. A large number of Grimm charged out of the forest. Following the students but were met with large mechanized gun turrets aligned in rows across the walls. Tearing through the Grimm as if they were made of paper, not one Grimm were able to close in on the academy within their destructive range. Lasting about a minute before the wave of Grimm has stopped completely, left nothing but dissipating ash.

Daisuke leans and rests on his sword. Catching his breath while all have gathered at the gates. Tapping his pointing finger into the each person on sight, counting under muted breath.

"...That should be everyone." Standing upright, his left hand up high to cath the attention of the current students. "Everyone! This way! Let's get you all inside." Waving them towards the gates.

Gates opened automatically upon his foot distance at gates. On the other side presents a Haven Academy's distinct look. Open courtyard, spacious building facilities and lost of greenery. The CCT tower stood proud alongside the academy. On the other side is a small busy airship port. All airship resting in their hangars with the exception of one airship nearly burnt up airship with noticeable hull damage on its underside.

"So... Welcome to Haven Academy. School for Huntsmen and Huntresses. Everyone's gone inside already but I'll get you youngsters settled on the school grounds." Motioning the class to follow him again into the great hall.

While Daisuke takes the new coming class into the main hall. Any investigating Teacher who would walk up wrecked airship that carried class before will find the old white beard helmsman standing still with a fire extinguisher hanging on his right hand and his entire left arm resting on a self applied arm cast. His face so morose as he gazes down in horror and gall.

"...Consider those whippersnappers lucky..." He groaned under his stache. Stepping aside to let the teacher/s to give a view of the blown hole. Through the charred metal sheets, misaligned pipes, few dangling wires, and scattered remains of electric dust. In-between two compressed damaged components of what appears to be a part of the main engine is a fuel tank. Upon closer inspecting, a dust round is lodge in deep into the tank. Denting inward, the dust round was combustion dust type. Just an inch away from a lethal destruction of the Airship and its passengers. The empty dust round is empty and is best not to touch it for now.

One can also observe that a bullet of this type was fired from a like an powerful weapon from an impressive distance. Judging its final angled downward bullet placement. It was probably shot in an angle deep within the forest or mountains. Whoever is responsible for this is long gone by now. The Helmsman has already phoned Daisuke regarding this incident. Daisuke instructs not tell to this to the students. (Although this case will case will not go unsolved)

Once in the great hall he lets the students rest and relax to tend for themselves. Daisuke with his Scroll in hand, tapping rapidly through the screen before placing the scroll over his ear.

"Mhmm--"
"Yes, sir."
"I understand. Thank you."

The man sighed after sliding the scroll back to his slack pocket. He looks back to the students, who are fresh out of combat. Clearing his throat. "We would like to apologize in regards to what happened earlier was... Not part of any test of some kind. The airship you rode on had a malfunction and unfortunately crashed into Grimm infested area of the forest. Although, me and your fellow teachers here have taken notice of the powers you possess in your hands." Pushing his glasses back up. "To start, I am Daisuke Boucher. I and the other teachers here present to you today are assigned in class to teach how to become proper huntsmen and huntresses. I teach the course of fighting against the Grimm itself." He strides slowly around the students. "Given the unforeseen incident earlier, from what I've seen and heard. I'm impressed, but there's always room to improve. These are your other professors." His hand ushering towards the other teachers for an introduction. Once formally introduced. "With that said, I will show you a quick tour around Haven."

"And if anyone is feeling a bit unwell, Follow Mr. Naragi. He will lead you to the clinic." Pointing to the man himself. "Or at the very least have something that can help one of those pockets of yours, Mr. Naragi.

The tour consisted order of showing the school facilities.
[Needed editing]

During the the tour, Daisuke's face lit up and points towards a opposite direction from the current tour route to show a metal double sliding door. "And we have the student council to thank on the outer defense." The teacher knocked against the metallic door. Which automatically opened and a cat faunus boy with a huge endearing smile pops head out the door. The room was illuminated by multiple bright LED monitors but everything else too dark to see clearly, it looked like a security room more than a club room.

"Ouuuuuuoooooo! Is that Fresh peeps I smell! Wow! HI! Did we do good on that Mr. Boucher!?" The catboy waving to the gang. Before getting dragged back by a boy's hand and muffled scolding from their voice through the steel door.

"They are in charge of making school events less boring, festivals, all that other stuff." Daisuke commented. "And has control over the outer wall defense from time to time. Talented 6 members of bright minds, If I do say so myself." Leading the students to again back to the tour.

"That concludes the end of the tour." Daisuke checks his scroll for the time. "Just around this corner is well. The dorms you will all be staying in. Since earlier you all seem to have organized yourselves into teams already." Daisuke unlocks the keychain around his hip, where multiple keys jingled in his fingers. Giving one per team leader. "I am sorry we couldn't meet the headmaster in his office today. Anyways here are your keys to your dorm rooms, don't lose it now."

"For now, just settle into your dorms, get comfy. We'll be seeing later in class today." Daisuke walks out of the wooded floor hallway. Returning to the route of the teacher's faculty.

"Gotta admit, You almost had your bonus, if that actually followed through." Said the young woman.

"I gave you your window. Now, do as your commanded." A raspy voice hissed through the phone.

"Don't worry, I've done my homework~" She replied.

Carlisle barely paid attention to the school tour, his thoughts preoccupied with optimizing Red for the next raid. If I slap the BeoEX armor on, her speed’ll hit max, but then the remaining 60 stat is a total waste... Maybe a mix of Ursa Gear and one BeoEX piece? That could balance out speed and power...Lost in thought, he almost missed the group stopping as the teacher—what was his name again? Daisuke?—wrapped things up. Carlisle snapped out of his thoughts just in time to receive a dorm key and hear the instructions to relax before their first class. Class? Already? After surviving a crash landing? He exhaled, sliding the key into his pocket. Guess I should check out my dorm… eventually.

That was the plan, at least. But why bother going all that way when there was a perfectly good outlet right here in the common area? Spotting an empty spot near the wall, Carlisle slung his bag down and fished out his handheld gaming device from his jacket pocket, plugged it in, booted it up, and dove into Red’s gear setup. A few minutes later, satisfied with his tweaks, he hit the Look for Group button.

“Alright,” he muttered under his breath, determination flickering in his eyes. “This time, I’m clearing this raid.” Almost immediately, a new party member joined. Carlisle’s brows twitched as he read the username: NoraBoop. He groaned internally. Seriously? Is this the same person who wiped last time, or just someone else using the same cursed name?

Despite his reservations, Carlisle wasn’t about to back down now. He hunkered down near the outlet, his eyes glued to the screen. Nothing short of a fire alarm—or maybe Daisuke himself—was going to pull him away from this spot until the raid was conquered.

*Wei Lan paid some attention to Mr. Daisuke’s tour, but was rather distracted by what had just occurred. After walking into the common room with his team, he let out a big sigh of relief and finally dropped his halberd near the seats.* “Perhaps we should visit the infirmary, Carli-“ *Before he could even finish talking, he saw their de facto leader Carlisle hunched by the outlet, buried in his game. Wei Lan calmly walked up to him and said with a smile.* “Hey, Mr. Daisuke handed you the key, didn’t he? That means he decided you were the leader.”

They made it. At last, the group arrived safely at Haven Academy where many other students arrived with their limbs intact. Autumn couldn’t envision the entire batch of teenagers he rode with just dying over a mishap. It would be a terrible look on the school. One of the teachers who had introduced themselves opened the gates and led everyone inside. They gave a short tour while expressing their apologies for what happened. Were the students going to be silenced if they spoke about it? The thought had Autumn shudder. They were not gangsters like his family. Just a habitual thought he supposed.

The injured were to report to another staff member. That would mean missing the tour, right? Autumn wasn’t injured. Maybe just blisters and burns from pulling on the chain to get the Goliath to be still enough for the cute girl to end the grimm. He looks around realizing they were no longer with them. Did they by chance move to the infirmary? He doesn’t recall any injuries on the pretty girl. Nevertheless, the tour had to move on.

The design for Haven was familiar to his home. Sliding doors, Asian decor. It was cozy. Whoever the council was, they were certainly curious faunus. Autumn listened more to what Daisuke had to say. Ah, so the boys were the ones who planned the events. Quite crafty. There wasn’t much to know when it came to Haven except for various opportunities to explore. He just wasn’t sure if he would have time with his academics. At last, everyone was able to rest in their dorms except they were given a single key and it was handed to Autumn. He didn’t think much as he assumed the teacher just handed them out to whoever was closest.

According to his instructions, they were already paired in their team which had Autumn realize that there was one boy and a girl on their team of which he had no chance with how she gawked at Asher. The realization had Autumn fall to his knees and pull on his hair dramatically. ”Noooooo! This is not cool! I wanted to be in a group with chics.” Autumn hung his head for a minute before standing back up with a heavy sigh. He looks over at Asher and Tiffany. ”Well, looks like we’re all a team. How unexpected.” Autumn led the way to the dorm harboring the only key to their new residency. He unlocks it and is wowed by the decor. It truly felt like home. He took one of the beds and fell face first. He was safe. No Grimm. Though the question remained of what became of Felix? As if a miracle had struck him. The name played in his head repeatedly until he sat up in shock and disgust. "Felix was a boy?

Shin'ya dragged herself through the halls of Haven Academy, the stately architecture and abundant greenery doing little to impress the tired, injured girl considering recent events. That wasn't at all reflective of a typical operation for a licensed hunter, let alone a hunter trainee. But those were the kind of perils a hunter had to be ready to throw themselves into. The kind of challenge that any hunter, every hunter MUST rise to when the moment comes.

Shoko Okabe certainly would have.

"Hrrr-" With a ragged inhalation, Shin'ya tripped, only to be caught by a member of the faculty.

"I got ya. Now let's get you to Mr. Naragi." How did they know to catch her just then? It felt like...everyone had their eyes on her. A cursed, infirm child, the only legacy of a distinguished hunter...their seeming pity crushed her, cut her more than the jaws of the Taijitu or a Deathstalker's claws.

Arrival at the infirmary brought her a further ordeal, as her wound was dressed and stitched up, her strained respiration, heart rate, and aura generation all monitored carefully.

It was almost like being back with Aunty Yuuka, but she felt...colder. Even so, she endured every step without a single sound. With her cuts and bruises cleaned and her major wound addressed, Shin'ya was allowed a bed in the infirmary to recuperate...hopefully in time for commencement of classes.

As she cast her hooded coat aside, she found herself curled on her side into fetal position, breathing steadily as she felt her pain ebb and flow.

Not a tear fell from her eyes as she kept watch over the infirmary, looking to see if her newfound teammates needed help...

Well they made it awsome none of there team was all too injured so that was a good sigh or we'll there group at least Asher hefting his weapon over his shoulder like it was nothing following along with the tour of the school humming to himself the place looked nice very interesting style he could get used to hanging around here, he quietly wondered who he'd end up with team wise, Asher somewhat hopped it would be those other 3 he ran into in the Forest the four of them seemed to work great together though one of them and gone missing probably got more injured then he'd remembered it was an alpha grim afterall fighting one of those on there first day should at least give them some extra credit.. or maybe a free pizza that would be nice.

luckily it turned out to be true Asher smiled to himself as he overheard autumn reaction to this information. "no need to be so dramatic about it autumn we already made a great team I'm sure we will do great working together! Besides I'm sure some of the girls in the other teams might find you cute so there's no reason to threat over it... but Yes Felix was a boy" Asher would reply with a soft smooth tone too his voice patting autum on the shoulder as he said this.

Momiji was behind the group others as She was silent or lack through of speaking. After the crash and such of dealing with Grimm, Momijii was not in the mood as she 'd silently listened to others what'd they're doing. It was good not many people we're injured as the faunus was having a time of processing everything, mainly with today's events to the point that Momiji barely caught Mr Daisuke's and the other teacher's introducing themselves as she perked up with a soft confused hmm sound.

As the school's automated defenses began to take out the fodders that were on their tail, Yuppa pointeded her arms into the air and stretched her body muscles, finishing with a grunt and slamming her arms down to the ground.
"Fiiii-nally! We're here!"
She began to detach the blades off of her shield, preparing to look less threatening now that they were getting in the safe zone. The blades began to cool down to a more dull, dark hue of red as they left the shield, and Yuppa gave them a slow spin in the air to shake off the remaining heat before they entered their sheaths. Once the blades were put in place, the shield began to shrink, spitting out the battery she inserted (which she caught and tucked into her pocket) and going back to the comically large glove on her hand. As much as she liked her weapon, she didn't want to walk in with full armaments and scare her potential new friends, or even worse- give them a weird first impression.
But of course, she couldn't forget the first friend she made on the way to Haven, of all people. As she and her new team joined forces with the other students who made it, Yuppa began to scan the crowd for the girl she met back in the airship. Blondie was her... name? No, they never got to trade names. It was such a despair, to not get the time to exchange necessary information for establishing new friendship. Unfortunately for mister Daisuke, who was probably doing his best to guide the new students, Yuppa began to fixate more on locating the blonde girl rather than listening to his introductions of the school's wonderful facilities. Eh, she could always ask questions later.

---

The hunt, after a long hunt, ended in a success. A flash of brown moved among the students, having isolated the sight of her target. As Daisuke's introductions wrapped up, Yuppa emerged from among other students, looking the opposite direction from where most of them were looking at-straight at Momiji. Her eyes sparked with good intentions-excitement- as she slowly opened her arms wide and greeted the blonde girl.

Still trying to play off her aches from crushing the alpha as nothing to be concerned about Mare suppressed a wince as she turned to look at the other three girls she had met in the forest who the impromptu trial had apparently designated as her team, maybe even as her team. She would have liked to grab Yuppa but the other girl had already gone to speak with someone else, with a sigh she glanced up at 'Red' instead, if they were going to be on a team together knowing her name would probably be useful in keeping the hulking faunus from running off half-cocked again.

Squaring her shoulders Mare approached her new teammate and tilted her head back to make eye contact.
"So...it seems that a twist of fate has decreed that we'll be a crew together." Placing one hand on her hip she held out the other and cocked her head. "In light of that I expect it will prove useful to know each other's names. I am Mare Orcinus and you are?"

Anya wanted her long lost friend to rest well for now, especially since Anya herself still had to let it fully sink in that her cat friend is really a faunus friend rather than just a regular cat... That will take some getting used to for her to make do with all that.

Once Daisuke began to explain things Anya produced a small notebook and pencil from a secret pocket most women with her proportions had and began noting more important things down while doodling a small map of the area on each page so she could reference it later, or even Dinah could considering she probably was still sleeping.

Anya found a small corner around the dorms area and poked Dinah a few times with her pencil to wake her up to ask her something.
"Dinah, do you feel good, I can take you to the infirmary if you want or in case you just want to rest you can go back to sleep till our first lesson."

Bress Adir

Bress had been a bit annoyed or perhaps disappointed when they were instructed to head tot he school over standing and fighting. Others were not as tough as her, that much was true, but then they could just stand behind her. That was what she did when she was back home she killed the grimm, or rather she had before others joined. She was used to shouldering everyone and not complaining. What happened at the school was impressive and well worth the retreat as if other places outside of big cities had defenses like the school had then they wouldn't suffer grimm attacks near as often. It wouldn't stop grimm assaults or stop them from randomly attacking livestock, but it might keep them from killing families in their homes. Outside of the walled cities the guns would be far less effective, but helpful. When the tour finished, which was really impressive to some country bumpkin like Bress, the rather over dressed girl that had decided to issue commands spoke up. They were on a team it seemed. Bress had been told that was likely to happen, but she never gave a team much thought, she didn't think about it back home even when others fought with her she just moved forward and kept swinging. The only thing that changed with others was she always went for the biggest grimm, the largest groups, she was the immovable object and the unstoppable force for the others.

" Bress" She answered simply not really caring to say her full name, her last name was nothing special. it had no grand history, or influence attached to it. Her given name was all that was needed, it was what mattered and how most would call each other. " Next time just take the stragglers" She continued though her words could be taken as an insult or a command her tone instead spoke of a deep seated confidence and a nature to be the one to take the heaviest loads. There was plenty more that could be said and Bress might but that was all that needed to be said she could take whatever the grimm threw at her and pay it back, the others didn't need to.

Dinah "Vi" Ashford

Dinah had mostly stayed in Anya's hood, though out of embarrassment and sulking over being tired. She was still bugged by how she had completely fucked up in the fight and froze. it had been her first fight, her first time seeing the grimm in person in years. Grimm were all over the television, but that was all distant and different than seeing them in person. Dinah had paid attention to the tour to a degree, she knew the ground her dad worked here after all. Dinah let Anya carry her where ever she wanted to go as there wasn't anywhere she wanted to be, not even saying hi to her dad after such a complete fuck up of a first fight.

Dinah would soon enough feel herself getting poked and Anya speaking thinking she was not feeling well. it was true but that wasn't something the nurse could fix. Dinah turned into mist and reformed in the nearest opened space as herself stretching now wearing the school uniform despite not having been in it before. " I was just sulking not napping " Dinah huffed. She was really bugged by messing things up she had planned to look cool and powerful not like a coward on her first day. " i mostly blew it in that fight didn't ?" She asked not sure if she wanted that confirmed or denied. " Well anyways so you still with that group of friends you told me about?" She asked wondering if Anya was still with white fang given the group's reputation was not good anymore.

Saheila Falidust aka Saha
IMG_2113.jpeg
Today was a day Saheila had eagerly anticipated for what felt like ages. Her excitement bubbled over, leaving her restless and unable to capture a full night's sleep. Yet, that adrenaline fueled her as she prepared to embark on her journey to her new school, where she dreamed of becoming one of the top Huntsmen in the land.

As she hugged her family goodbye, the warmth of their support filled her with determination. Moments later, she stepped onto the airship, her carry-on bag clutched tightly in hand her tail swaying excitedly, all the way there. She barely had time to catch a glimpse of the world below before exhaustion swept her away, pulling her into a deep slumber for most of the ride. Even the pilot's announcements faded into background noise as she succumbed to sleep.

But amid her dreams, a sudden jolt shattered her tranquility. The screeching of the intercom, pierced through the chatter of the other passengers, jolting her awake. Panic seized her heart as she registered the chaos unfolding around her—the flight was under attack by Grimm lancers. The realization of the pilot saying what was about to happen ignited a surge of adrenaline as she braced herself for what was shaping up to be a harrowing plunge into the depths of the nearby forest. Taking a quick look around, she saw all of her future classmates, somewhat in the same situation, getting ready to handle it in their own ways.

As the chaos of the flight subsided and everyone else scrambled to find a safe landing, Saheila felt the rush of the air around her, knowing she had to act fast to avoid a painful crash. Mid-plummet, her gaze snapped to a towering tree below—its branches offered a glimmer of hope. A determined smile spread across her face as an idea sparked in her mind.

Suddenly, she spotted a flying lancer streaking toward her, poised to strike. With quick reflexes, she raised her shield just in time, deflecting the blow and using the force to propel herself closer to the tree. As she neared the trunk, she gripped her sword tightly and slashed at the bark, embedding the blade into the wood to catch herself from the fall.

Halfway down, she grunted with effort as she hung there, catching her breath. The wind whipped around her, but she was safe for the moment, dangling from the sturdy tree and plotting her next move. I missed the force where she was. She could not tell what happened to the others, but she figured they should be fine. After catching her breath for, a couple of minutes, she pulled her sword out of the tree and climbed down to the ground.

Not too long after the event, the staff of the school regain control of the situation, and it seems that all of the people in a fight with her or safe for the most part. She only had to deal with a couple of small skirmishes. So she was just happy when she got onto the school grounds.

With her key to the dorm room clutched tightly in her hand, Saheila felt a burst of excitement as she headed toward her new home. Eager to meet her teammates, she strolled down the hallway, trying the key card on a couple of doors, but it didn't seem to work. After a gentle tug on the handles, she realized her mistake and quickly glanced at the room number on her card. A grin spread across her face as she made her way to the right door, her tail wagging happily behind her.

Standing in front of her dorm room, Saheila paused for a moment, taking a deep breath to calm her racing heart. Then, with a spirited push, she flung the door open—almost slamming it against the wall as she burst inside. The room welcomed her with its fresh, new feel, and she tossed her bag aside, ready to make her mark.

Bursting with contagious enthusiasm, she beamed at her team and exclaimed, Hello, my incredible crew! What a true privilege it is to be here with the remarkable Saheila Alidus! I’m buzzing with excitement for the journey ahead and can’t wait for all the amazing moments we’ll create together!” With a cheeky grin, she rummaged through her bag, fished out a soda, and, with a satisfying pop, opened it. Taking a refreshing sip, she let the fizz match her energy. Suddenly, she paused and quipped, “But before we dive in, who exactly are we and you all? also, most of the time people just called me Saha”

Bhima Naranga Kurawa

Bhima moved through the corridors of Haven Academy with the deliberate gait of someone running on fumes. The tour had been informative, but the fatigue weighing on him dulled much of his focus. His Aura, already scraped thin from the earlier skirmish, left a faint, invisible trail of weakness in his wake. By the time he reached the Great Hall, the towering huntsman-in-training had no energy left to spare for conversation or even situational awareness.

Scanning the room with heavy-lidded eyes, Bhima picked a spot against the far wall. It wasn’t strategic, nor was it particularly comfortable, but it was out of the way. He lowered himself down with a groan that escaped through clenched teeth. His massive frame settled against the cool stone, his clubs resting beside him like loyal sentinels. Within moments, his head tipped forward, and he was out.

For those passing near him, the effect was subtle. Most students didn’t even notice as their Aura flickered, dimming slightly as if a faint breeze had passed through their soul. To anyone sensitive to such things, however, the sensation was unnerving. A slow, deliberate siphoning, like standing too close to a fire that drew warmth instead of giving it.

Bhima’s presence radiated exhaustion in more ways than one. He didn’t snore, but the shallow rhythm of his breathing carried a weight that seemed to press on the very air around him. For now, he slept, a mountain at rest. Whether anyone chose to approach him, or confront the peculiar ebb of their Aura, was a question that hung unspoken in the air.

    Carlisle Thyme

Carlisle's eyes were glued to the screen, scanning through his inventory while the room slowly filled with other players. He just needed one more person to complete the party. Then, they could finally clear the raid, “Huh? Oh, yeah, sure,” he muttered absentmindedly when Wei Yan said something. Carlisle hadn’t really caught what it was—his focus was elsewhere. Once the "Ready Check" popped up, he shifted in his seat, gearing up for the challenge ahead.

At least, that was the plan.

Five minutes in, and he had already burned through two lives. Stupid rookie mistakes. Worse, his reaction time felt sluggish—he even got hit by one of the most obvious, telegraphed moves in the game.

NoraBoop: You good, Red? You're making some uncharacteristic mistakes.

Great. Even NoraBoop, the same person who caused the last raid wipe, noticed. If she of all people was calling him out, things were bad. While waiting for a revive, Carlisle leaned back in his chair with a groan. He barely had time to regroup when Wei Yan’s voice cut through his thoughts, drawing his attention.

“Huh?” Carlisle glanced up, blinking as Wei Yan motioned toward him. The key in his pocket suddenly felt heavier as the pieces clicked into place.
“Oh, right,” he muttered, pulling the key out. He stared at it for a moment before holding it out toward Wei Yan. “Take it,” he said, standing abruptly. “Take the key. I don’t want to be leader. Who even decides leadership by handing out some dumb key?”

The frustration in his voice was clear, but as soon as he stood, a wave of dizziness hit him like a truck. His vision swam, and he instinctively grabbed the wall for support, steadying himself as his free hand pressed to his forehead, “Whoa…” he mumbled, leaning heavily against the wall to keep himself upright. His heart pounded as the lightheadedness lingered. “Maybe… maybe that trip to the infirmary isn’t such a bad idea after all.”

*Wei Lan watched as Carlisle sunk into his game, only to snap back to reality for a moment. When Carlisle handed him the key, Wei Lan stepped back for a brief moment.* “Whoa there, Buddy! What’s so bad about being the leader? It means the teacher saw you and your crazy skills out there today.”

*Wei Lan’s enthusiasm was cut short when Carlisle stumbled into the wall. As Wei Lan suspected, that slap to the skull from an Alpha was making its rounds in his brain again.* “I would sure hope not! Can’t have my new teammate wobbling his way to class! C’mon!” *Wei Lan’s enthusiasm belied the cuts and small bruises on his body, but he took the smaller boy’s arm, whipped it around his neck and started walking them both the infirmary.* “So, what did you think of those two Faunus girls on our team, huh? Especially that purple one. I’ve never heard of a Faunus who can turn into a full animal.” *Wei Lan continued his enthusiastic, team-building small talk as they wandered off to the infirmary together.*

Mizu Mifune
Having his team out here and not within the forest was a nice feeling especially once the defenses of the academy started firing overhead them into the Grimm. Mizu had time as others gathered he ventured closer to the wrecked airship and started to look into things. "Whoever did that had an amazing aim, being able to pinpoint the tank's location at such a distance. Though I am thankful their weapon was a bit underpowered, if they had a properly prepped weapon the ship would have been gone."

Mizu went away from the wreck thinking what weapon could have done that and from where they shot. Sure he knew the entrance of the ship and the ship's flight path, but he didn't know the enemy's semblance what if it allowed one to bend a bullet path, that would make his calculations obsolete. But if they did not have such a semblance. There were several spots that could have hit the mark in a similar way but they were too widespread for him to check them out all alone, especially now with the Grimm being so active in the forest, at this point, most traces are probably lost by now anyway. So he simply followed Daisuke and the students eventually standing beside Daisuke at the great hall's platform.

"I won't say much about what I saw from you all. You're young so you have time to learn and time to correct mistakes in your upbringing and training. My name is Mizu Mifune, I am responsible for training your semblance mastery. I will give you one advice, don't slack on my lessons or you will know hell." Mizu spoke with the tone of a drill instructor and spite of one as well when he was going back to the other teachers who stood back he turned around for a moment and said with utter menace in his voice once more. "Oh and your first lesson is with me pipsqueak, meet me here again when the time for it comes."
